The Diocese of Rochester is committed to equipping its churches and leaders for growth and transformation. As part of this, we are seeking a Missionally Healthy Places (MHP) Project Manager to join our Programme Team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.

The MHP Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of 15 strategically funded parish projects supported by the National Church. Working with the Head of Programmes, Diocesan colleagues, and parish representatives, the Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting processes across the MHP project. This role will be vital in supporting parish leaders and PCCs to lead and deliver their local MHP initiatives effectively.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and highly organised project manager, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage risk, track project outcomes, and support change across a variety of contexts. A background in monitoring and evaluation is important, and a desire to serve the mission of the Church will be key to thriving in this role. Experience of working with Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong working relationships with the 15 MHPs, acting as a governance and communications link with the Diocesan MHP Project Board
• Oversee and report on progress, risks, outcomes, and finances across all MHP projects
• Track progress against milestones and budgets, escalating risks and managing changes as needed
• Support the sharing of learning and success stories in collaboration with the Communications Officer and Mission and Ministry Development team
• Manage the MHP budget, including drawing down and allocating funds and reporting to stakeholders
• Act as secretary to the MHP Project Board and report to senior diocesan bodies including the Bishops Leadership Team and Diocesan Synod

Summary of the role:

The Supporter Relations Engagement Team is involved in the planning and development of programmes and projects that puts supporter engagement at the heart of everything do we do. They play a pivotal role in making Muslim Aid more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. The team’s aim is to increase the depth and value of supporter relationships whilst also encouraging repeat giving and overall supporter retention through targeted engagement strategies.

Working within the Supporter Relations Engagement Team, you will develop a supporter centric approach to planning effective multi-channel, multi-product supporter journeys to grow loyalty, engagement, and income.  We are looking for someone with an audience and data insight driven approach to identify moments that matter and key touch points to improve the supporter experience. By doing this, you will ensure that each touchpoint across the supporter experience is engaging, effective and reflects Muslim Aids brand and values.

As a confident communicator you will help develop a culture based on understanding and interpreting supporter behaviours and motivations. Using this information, you will lead on mapping journeys and engagements across communications, campaigns and the fundraising portfolio to maximise a supporter’s lifetime value.

About the Role:

1. Create new innovative supporter journeys to increase engagement, loyalty and improve income generation.
2. Deliver improved supporter journeys and care strategies using insights, evidence and feedback.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Significant supporter/customer care skills obtained from the commercial or charity sectors.
2. Proven engagement developing internal relationships across a complex organisation – working with internal clients to develop and adapt briefs to improve supporter engagement.
3. Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
4. Experience of developing innovative and creative engagement programs for supporters/donors.

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. Knowledge Sharing

• Identify and develop opportunities to work collaboratively and share learning.

• Ensure case studies and other content is collated from grant recipients to share through our channels.

The purpose of your role

We are looking for a proactive policy and corporate affairs professional to join the Police Now team and play a key role in shaping understanding of our programmes, build support amongst stakeholders, and lead the conversation on police reform and culture change. 

Police Now’s mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and increase public confidence in policing.  You will be instrumental in identifying and offering great opportunities to showcase the best of Police Now's work with Ministers, officials, MPs, Peers, committees, All-Party Parliamentary Groups, and other policy stakeholders and influencers.  You will use your skills in advocacy and effective communication to increase awareness of and support for what we deliver, and be an effective partner to the Government demonstrating delivery of their 13,000 neighbourhood policing pledge and the difference good local policing makes to communities.

What you’ll do – the key responsibilities

•Establish yourself within Police Now as a source of expert political advice and guidance in handling sensitive issues and relationships, working to protect and enhance our reputation. 

•Be curious about police reform, be actively contributing on external thinking about this and ensure PN colleagues are kept abreast of key developments.

•Maintain the day to day relationship with the Home Office including organising meetings, submissions, paperwork and evaluations.

•Provide expert policy advice to officials at the Home Office, other Government Departments, and Parliamentarians on the work of Police Now through contributions to White Papers and Committee Investigations. 

•Be proactive in looking for opportunities for Police Now such as organising visits, participating in roundtables, and playing an active role in relevant conferences.

•Ensure that Police Now fulfils its obligations to Government in return for public investment and is responsive to the needs of the Home Office and other organisations. You will provide accurate information for answers to Parliamentary Questions in a timely manner, input for Ministerial briefings and correspondence, and advice on police and skills policy issues to the Government as appropriate.

What you’ll need – the person specification

•Experience of influencing and advocating within a policy and public affairs environment, you will be confident in communicating with senior stakeholders.

•Engage Ministers, MPs, Mayors, Police and Crime Commissioners and their teams in a way that enhances Police Nows reputation as an expert, insight-led organisation with a strong record of delivery that represents excellent value-for-money.

•You will have a strong understanding of Westminster, Whitehall and the Mayoralities and build good working relationships with key decision-makers.  Some experience of media handling around public policy issues is desirable as you will work closely with the Media and Communications team at Police Now.

•Essential skills are the ability to write well, communicate effectively and be confident in engaging senior stakeholders.  A demonstrable interest or background in policing or related public services would be of assistance in working with internal stakeholders.

•Above all, you must demonstrate for a passion the Police Now mission, be proactive in identifying opportunities to share Police Now's impact, and be a great team player.

Thrombosis UK is a small but impactful health charity focused on raising awareness, funding research, and supporting education around venous thromboembolism (VTE). With a team of just three staff and a dedicated Board, we are entering a transitional period and are seeking an Interim CEO to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide hands-on leadership while we recruit a permanent CEO.

This is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role ideal for someone who is comfortable managing a small charity and supporting both strategy and admin. You’ll work closely with staff and trustees, maintain momentum across our programmes, and support stakeholder and beneficiary engagement. Fundraising and marketing experience are a plus.

We are growing fast. By 2028, we aim to triple our reach, grow our hubs, and deepen our impact. To underpin this growth, we are commissioning an expert consultant to help us build a world-class evaluation framework that is grounded in youth voice, ethical practice, and strategic insight.

Purpose of the Evaluation Consultancy

We want to understand, evidence and improve the impact of OSH’s work. This evaluation consultancy will:

• Deliver an independent evaluation report of OSH’s impact to date.
• Co-produce a robust, coherent, ethical evaluation framework with OSH’s young people, staff and volunteers which is aligned with OSH’s ethos, Theory of Change and strategic priorities.
• Test and iterate this framework across our residentials, hubs, and leadership programmes.
• Develop tools, templates and staff training to ensure OSH can embed and sustain a culture of learning and impact internally.

Objectives & Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for (not necessarily in this order):

1. Design & Deliver an Independent mixed-methods evaluation
2. Co-design & test an impact framework
3. Embedding & Handover

Deliverables

• Independent evaluation report, written in an accessible format including a one-page summary briefing.
• A refined Evaluation Framework with defined indicators, data collection methods, and ethical guidelines.
• Tools/templates for data collection and analysis (e.g. surveys, outcome tracking, case study templates).
• Staff-facing evaluation guide (written in accessible, youth-friendly language).
• Workshop or training session for OSH staff on using the framework.

Timeline

We anticipate the work to take place across July 2025 - January 2026, with the report based on phases 1 and 2 complete by the end of 2025. The consultant must be available to work closely with OSH teams and visit residentials and hub.

Budget

The budget for this work is £10,000-12,000, inclusive of all consultant expenses and VAT. Compensation to enable the young people’s participation will not be paid out of this budget, but rather by OSH separately. 

We welcome proposals that demonstrate value for money and flexibility.

About You

We are seeking a consultant (or small team) who can demonstrate:

• A strong track record of designing evaluation frameworks for youth-focused or refugee organisations.
• A commitment to and track record in participatory evaluation and co-production, as well as expertise in mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative).
• Understanding of trauma-informed, ethical, and culturally sensitive research.
• Ability to communicate findings and tools in accessible, engaging formats. This includes both written reports and face-to-face training formats.
• Alignment with OSH’s values.
• An enhanced DBS check.

Lived experience of migration or forced displacement is highly welcomed.

The project aims to identify those in Welfare, Health, Wellbeing, Employment, housing, and/or food crisis who have had unresolved issues over a prolonged period and provide support for them to overcome the immediate crisis and work towards longer-term stability

The Advice and Advocacy Officer will provide holistic advice and advocacy to guests, supporting them on issues such as debt, welfare, housing, employment, and business support, in a trauma-informed and empowering way.

The postholder will be a key part of growing the Hub’s  Advice and Advocacy/ Pastoral / Wrap-around services, working as a team with our partners, providing support to guests and volunteers.

• Working with a Caseload of Guests on a 1-1 and group basis and providing support via multiple channels, including Telephone, Email, In Person, virtually, and other project locations, develop action/support plans

• Working with a caseload of guests to provide support/signpost

•  Facilitate group workshops, Coffee Mornings, and information sessions

• Provide Information, advice, guidance, and resilience

• Support for people facing hardship.

Person Specification

• Experience delivering advice & Advocacy/ Wrap around care  in at least one relevant area,/Relevant qualifications for the post 

•  Understanding of trauma-informed and inclusive practice

• Willingness to undertake further training, including Information Advice and Guidance L2/L4 or as relevant to the role

• Experience in working with individuals who are experiencing significant poverty and may also have multiple and complex needs. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

• Experience in/willingness to learn the use of  databases for the recording, processing of advice given, and reviewing the quality of team records/ usage 

• Experience in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with external stakeholders

• IT Literate / Proficient in Microsoft/Google Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Slack, and experience with project management software / Communication tools (e.g., Zoho, Trello) is a plus.

• Time-management skills, with the ability to work successfully both alone and as part of a team
