We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). They will report to the Director of Development and Head of Communications.

The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. About the role
The main purpose of the role is to coordinate the Methodist Church’s response to the arrival of Hong Kong nationals in Great Britain.
This will involve liaising with the Methodist Church in Hong Kong and with circuits and local churches in Britain to ensure pastoral support for Hong Kong Methodists as they make the transition to this country. You will help to motivate local circuits and churches to welcome and integrate the new arrivals into congregations, and you will provide support and training to facilitate this. You will also develop connections with Cantonese-speaking groups and congregations already in existence, and may be involved in facilitating the formation of new ones. Establishing connections and fostering supportive relationships to enable an effective network that brings together Methodists from Hong Kong and British churches, is key to your role.

As this role will entail working with circuits and local churches, you will need strong project management and administrative skills. You need to be both self-motivating and a strong team player. We are now looking for an experienced and innovative individual to support the engagement and outreach of our Young Women’s Service.
The successful candidate will be experienced in developing and delivering creative Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention programs and confident to successfully engage young women in a wide range of settings including schools, colleges, youth programs & pupil referral units to raise awareness, challenge and positively influence the attitudes and behaviours that normalise GBV in this peer group. You will receive training on delivering GBV Resilience Programs that build psychological and emotional resilience in young people (YP) to strengthen protective factors to promote positive mental and emotional well-being in YP. You will co-produce and deliver training and awareness raising work for professionals, including first responders and managers in GBV related services / mental health provisions, educational centres and non-abusing family members and carers to facilitate appropriate response towards YP at risk.
About you
You will therefore be skilled in nurturing and developing YP voices and active engagement within such forums. You will be skilled at working alongside young women with an acute awareness of how to successfully co-create and co-deliver training packages to professionals and the wider community, thus centralising YP as the leaders and change agents in the project.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and to their friends, families and carers. Our projects empower ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after their surgery and give them the confidence to take on fresh challenges. About the role:
As the Volunteers and Support Administrator you will provide efficient administration to our support services and volunteer team. You will also undertake any admin duties involved with running the Colostomy UK office and support other members of the team. You will be answering and re-directing incoming calls on our stoma helpline. It is expected that the Senior Emergency Supply Chain Specialist (SESCS) will have significant prior experience in humanitarian supply chains, at international, regional, and local level and will have extensive experience in delivering aid in an emergency context. The SESCS is an enthusiastic team member and a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail. They see opportunities in challenges and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This role would be ideally suited to someone with humanitarian emergency response experience both at an HQ, regional and field level. This role is suited to someone who has experience in mentoring junior colleagues and who is looking to progress their career and take on line management responsibilities, whilst also working directly on delivering emergency response programmes. The role will be starting at a time where ShelterBox is going through significant change with a Business Systems Transformation taking place across the organisation to improve our ways of working. This will allow us to be more effective in the face of mounting humanitarian needs and we therefore look forward to welcoming candidates who remain flexible and open to change.
Role purpose
This role will be a core member of the Supply Chain Team, within the International Programmes Directorate and will report to the Programme Supply Chain Manager. The SESCS will work closely with the Supply Chain Managers, Emergency Team, Regional Directors and Programme Managers and it is expected that the SESCS will be assigned to work mainly on the Emergency Responses and line manage Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists or Junior Supply Chain Specialists. Although other regions and countries may also require support at times. The SESCS will engage in numerous tasks and projects encompassing the entire supply chain, from global and local scoping, tactical planning, and strategic supply chain management, to negotiation, procurement, and readiness. The goal of the SESCS is to assist ShelterBox aid recipients by managing humanitarian supplies to provide aid and support to disaster-stricken areas, both from a distance and on-site.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead and coordinate the design and implementation of the supply chain for an assigned Emergency Response or Programme. This includes assessing and selecting supply options/route; supporting tax free importation and customs clearance; developing last-mile logistics solutions including in-country freight and warehousing; supporting the sourcing of operational services and goods at a local, regional, and global level; advising and reviewing partner procurement; and supporting CVA modalities to ensure high quality, timely responses.
- Responsible for tendering international freight requests to ensure best value, service, and accountability for movement of relief supplies. Including overseeing shipping of aid items by air, sea, road, or rail and arranging the preparation and provision of relevant shipping documentation.
- Establish, develop, and lead on good supply chain relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, other humanitarian actors, relevant government departments and logistics coordination mechanisms (Logs Cluster) at both global, regional, and field levels.
- Work with the Emergency Team and wider International Programmes Department to set up partnerships with other organisations.
- Provide line management and support to Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists/Junior Supply Chain specialists. Provide supervision to staff and volunteers during deployment and/or when providing on call remote support.
- Support with developing and delivering supply chain training for internal and external audiences.
- Be able to deploy and be the focal point for supply chain activities, setting up and overseeing the timely delivery of aid items and assistance. Possessing the ability to separate from the main team along with some team members and assume the role of a team leader for that subgroup.
- Be part of a roster and provide an out-of-hours first point of contact for supply chain activities for emergencies and deployed teams.
- Support ShelterBox to seek out new trends, innovations, and best practice in supply chain within the disaster relief sector. Be a champion for supply chain improvements within the International Programmes Department.
- Support the development of Supply Chain approaches, tools, templates policies and procedures to ensure more effective and efficient emergency responses.
- Identify, mitigate, and record supply chain risk in emergency responses and programmes and escalate when required.
- Contribute to delivering emergency preparedness activities.
- Play an active role in driving forward modifications in how we operate to enable ShelterBox to achieve our sustainable supply chain targets which include a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
- In collaboration with Global Supply Chain Manager support the management of prepositioned inventory including monitoring appropriate inventory levels, supporting tactical and strategic replenishments.
- Maintain excellent information management of supply chain activities, to ensure accurate record keeping and accountability and transparency of aid.
- Provide regular reporting and briefings for internal and occasionally external use.
- Ensure adherence to ShelterBox procedures and policies including those relating to safeguarding, code of conduct, safety, and security.

Working in the People and Culture team and reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the Senior People Partner will be responsible for leading and managing a team, within the remit of employee relations, that delivers a high quality, inclusive, problem-solving, and people-focussed HR service to all levels of management and staff. The Senior People Partner’s role is to manage, supervise and support employee relations, employee wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, overseeing the employee life cycle. They will also advise and coach the Talent Acquisition and Volunteer team on volunteer related cases using RMG policies.
Key responsibilities involve managing a direct caseload of complex employee relations cases, including leading on liaison with ACAS, external investigators, and legal advisors, and preparing for and attending Employment Tribunals. Further core objectives include leading the drafting of new/revisions to people policies, consultation and negotiation with relevant stakeholders, and the communication and embedding of new/revised practices across the workforce. The Senior People Partner will further build and maintain effective working relationships with the senior leadership team, acting as an expert strategic adviser on a range of employee relations matters and as a point of escalation for employee relations enquiries emerging from other teams, actively coaching, supporting, and mentoring colleagues to grow team capability and support development.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an HR case work portfolio, which includes conducting discipline and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals, and ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunals, as well as overseeing attendance and performance management processes. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. The postholder will have experience and interest in managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives; be CIPD qualified; have excellent and adaptable organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; and will enjoy working with a variety of people, with a strong ability to listen effectively.
This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 4 – Senior Management and Senior Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working 5 days between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.

Our role is exciting and varied and includes offering 1-1 counselling and therapeutic groups in different settings, both in schools and the community. We are looking for a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team and help young people aged 11-25 to find their feet. In return we are a supportive team who are really passionate.

We would like to find someone who uses a range of counselling modalities creatively to meet the needs of young people. This role will involve some group work specifically around young women's mental health, so ideally you would have an interest in this thematic work.
There is some flexibility on working days but there is a requirement to work at least one evening per week up to 8pm. You would be working in different settings across North Cheshire East, including Knutsford, so access to transport would be an advantage. About the role:
The Foundation/Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner (FDAP) will play a key role in working directly with individuals using harmful/abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships. The role will include suitability and risk assessments, delivery of interventions, facilitation of group programmes, risk identification, information sharing and preparation of reports for courts and other agencies.
The FDAP Practitioner will be co-located into Priority Crime Teams situated in Newport Police Station to assist with the identification, screening, and engagement of individuals using harmful behaviour in their relationships, working closely with police to provide a timely and streamlined process for earlier identification, referral, and engagement/disruption of high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.
For this role is it essential you have excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. Experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse/ and or causing harm. Experience of group work delivery is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the role.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.
