About the role
You will be at the forefront of establishing a centrally-located PMO to embed project excellence in a mission-driven environment, operating both strategically and hands on across the King’s Fund. Your responsibilities will include developing and embedding project management standards and governance frameworks, establishing a performance framework to understand the impact of our projects, and providing oversight and assurance for key projects and programmes.
You will engage with senior leaders and staff leading and coordinators to embed a culture of effective project delivery, lead change management and continuous improvement efforts, and act as a trusted advisor on project and programme management. Additionally, you may matrix-manage project staff or line manage a small team as the PMO grows, ensuring effective use of project management tools and systems through a cross-organisation community of practice.
About you
As an established PMO Manager, you will bring your experience in setting up PMOs and use your knowledge of a diverse range of project and programme management methodologies. You will be enthusiastic about making a difference, and are able to bring people with you in change. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of facilitation, and influencing skills, and proven experience in managing change are essential.

Role Overview
This is a part time (21 hours per week) and fixed term role. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Empower & Exchange Project—an ISEAL-funded initiative to create user-centric data products, and advance future-proofed data infrastructure to improve the sustainability and transparency of the sugarcane supply chain.
This role sits within the Corporate Services team and will lead the project from planning through execution and reporting, collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders, and project partners.
The Empower & Exchange project is an integral part of Bonsucro’s broader digitalisation strategy and is closely aligned with other organisational initiatives. The project has five core objectives to be delivered to an agreed workplan:
1.Engage market actors to identify key ESG reporting metrics.
2.Create data reports tailored to certified sugar mills and the wider supply chain.
3.Develop a secure, user-friendly system for access and export of producer data.
4.Map the evolving technology ecosystem for traceability and ESG reporting.
5.Compile trust criteria for inter-platform data sharing with stakeholder input.
Key Responsibilities
Project Strategy & Management
- Act as the Project Manager for the Empower & Exchange project, overseeing implementation, donor reporting, and team coordination.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation in alignment with funder and organisational expectations.
- Ensure project activities are agile, adaptive, and responsive to changing needs, contexts and feedback.
Product Development & Research
- Coordinate the design and development of data tools and data reports for certified sugar mills, aligned with the project aims, ensuring they meet the needs of users in the sugarcane supply chain.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder consultations, usability testing, and market actor engagement to inform product features and usability.
- Oversee iterative development cycles in collaboration with internal tech and data teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, project partners, Bonsucro Members, and the ISEAL community. These include sugar and biofuel producers around the world, multinational corporate brands, learning partners in sustainable marine products, and traceability tech providers.
- Manage communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and participation across the project lifecycle.
- Work with the Bonsucro Communications team to share insights, promote achievements, and elevate visibility of the project.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
- Lead the preparation of donor reports and documentation of project progress and learning.
- Identify key insights and structure communications to inform Bonsucro’s future work and contribute to the ISEAL community’s collective learning. For example, delivering presentations and written comms.
- Maintain structured project documentation to ensure knowledge retention and transfer.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder, cross-functional projects involving digital products or sustainability initiatives.
- Strong technical literacy and ability to engage with concepts around tech and AI.
- Experience with user research, product design, user experience, and data-driven reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects to successful delivery, meeting workplan milestones and deadlines.
Desirable Experience:
- Professional qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Background in ESG reporting, corporate sustainability, traceability systems, or agile product development.

About the role
This varied role would see you working in partnership with the local authority, communities, schools, businesses, volunteers and third sector organisations, to remove barriers to transport, increase levels of public health and wellbeing, and protect our local environment.
You would be working in our Active Travel Hubs in the Tees Valley, which provide helpful services and interventions to make walking, wheeling and cycling the natural choice for shorter journeys in the Tees Valley. This is an exciting and ambitious project part of the UK’s largest network of Active Travel Hubs, working together to transform how Tees Valley residents travel for their everyday journeys.
Key responsibilities could include:
- Planning, organisation, administration and in-person delivery for behaviour change and engagement projects and events
- Community and stakeholder engagement

- Leading guided bike rides and running Cycle Confidence Sessions

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within Worcestershire for an experienced Project Manager to join our highly successful Homelessness Prevention Service. The service also delivers the SWEP Night Shelters across the six districts within the County.
You'll need to have a flexible approach to working, to meet the needs of the service and be highly responsive to referrals for homelessness across Worcestershire. The ideal candidate will have relevant homelessness service experience. Travel will be required between service areas and occasionally the head office in Gloucestershire. About the job
The project manager/ engineer is responsible for the implementation, management and quality assurance of the German Development Bank (KFW)-funded and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD)-implemented community markets construction project in Ali Sabieh and Ali Addeh, Djibouti. The construction project is due to be completed in Q1 2026. Civil works are very advanced. The project manager/ engineer will focus on the finishing work, the external landscaping and the solar panel installation. The project manager will also be responsible for coordinating the handover of the markets with the Regional Council.
Reporting to the Operations Director EAGL, this specialist role is responsible for managing internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure that the IGAD-specified Measures delivered are technically fit for purpose and meet the contractual and regulatory requirements. Lastly, the project manager is responsible for compliance with KFW and IGAD terms and conditions.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Construction Management (mostly in French, and limited English):
- Focal point for the Construction Company, D&S Consultant, IGAD, NIRAS, Regional Council and DRC Regional Office.
- Ensure timely completion of the construction activities by closely collaborating with the Construction Company and the DS&S Consultant.
- Manage construction follow-up, reporting, change management (as required), invoicing, testing & commissioning, construction close-out documentation incl. as-builts.
- Develop an Operations Manual for the two market in collaboration with IGAD and the Regional Council.
- Train the appointed O&M (operations and maintenance team and the Market Management Committee) to take over the markets.
- Plan and implement a smooth and complete handover of the two markets from the construction company to the user.
- Ensure the two markets are ready to use and comply with the requirements of the Regional Council.
- Ensure the solar panel installation(s) are implemented, procurement and installed successfully.
- Proactive coordination between the D&C Consultant and the construction Company, while respecting the contractual set-up and communication lines.
Project Management:
- Responsible for the implementation, management and quality assurance of the project, project staff and project partners to ensure project is completed on time, on budget and compliant with KFW, IGAD and DRCrequirements.
- Responsible for the oversight of the project environmental and social (E&S) monitoring plan (mainly done by the construction contractor) ensuring robust monitoring, timely reporting and effective controls are in place. This includes proactive engagement with the construction contractor KFW, IGAD and DRC to ensure that monitoring, results, and issues are documented and reported in a timelyfashion.
- Develop and maintain the project workplan and sub-projectbudgets.
- Support coordination and communication between the project team and the Djibouti Area Office, EAGL Regional Office and DRC HQ to ensure optimal cooperation and collaboration so that the project is supported, integrated, and follows all applicable DRC policies andprocesses.
- Oversee the implementation of the accompanying measures by the livelihoods officer – limited.
- Oversee the data collection for the monitoring and manage evaluation – limited.
- Oversee the implementation and follow-up of the grievance mechanism – limited.
Contract Compliance and Financial Management:
- Lead the development and submission of compliant financial reporting to IGAD and KFW. This includes:
- Working with the Djibouti, Regional Office, and HQ Finance teams, to ensure the financial report is supported by all required evidence and documentation of output achievements; and,
- Working with DRC Area Office, RO, and HQ as necessary for approvals, documentation, submissions, and payments.
- Manage the IGAD bi-annual financial audit.
- Ensure the project is compliant with terms and conditions of the contract as set out by KFW and IGAD, including procurement, financial reporting, code of conduct, security and reporting, and E&S reporting.
- Review the administrative compliance of the Contractor’s and D&S Consultant’s monthly disbursement requests.
- Develop, roll out and maintain the project financial management system, prioritising best practices for construction contracts. This includes:
- Leading DRC and subcontractors/partners in regular financial tracking and forecasting; and,
- With the oversight and support of the Global Commercial Advisor, managing the development and submission of any budget amendment requests, including coordinating requested changes from all project subcontractors/partners, DRC Area Office, DRC RO, DRC HQ, and other stakeholders.
- Support and facilitate the invoicing processes of the D&S Consultant and the Construction Company.
Subcontract Management:
- Serve as the operational/compliance focal point for all DRC subcontracts, local partners and independent consultants.
- Conduct the formal review and approval of subcontractor invoices, including communicating feedback on behalf of DRC regarding any
,issues. - Develop and negotiate compliant subcontracts and subcontract amendments when required based on approved budgetamendments.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure IGAD and KFW compliance requirements are understood and cascaded down through the delivery chain.
- Oversee subcontract performance and, where required, escalate issues to the responsible DRC role, per signed subcontract agreement protocols; and,
- Where necessary, provide guidance to subcontractor staff on contract requirements, especially where partners’ existing management systems are deemed incompatible with project requirements.
Construction management:
- Monitor the construction contractor’s implementation, including progress against the original time schedule, ensuring the construction contractor requests required testing and certificates on time.
- Monitor the construction contractor’s risk management and grievance mechanism, including implementation of the E&S requirements.
- Monitor the D&S’s consultant’s supervision activities, reporting, and payment certificates.
- Obtain any required permits for the construction and related activities.
Risk Management:
- Lead on maintaining and updating the project risk matrix, including the external and internal versions; and,
- When assigned, take responsibility for implementing specific risk mitigation measures outlined in the project risk matrix.
Programme Leadership and Governance:
- Working with the Djibouti Area Office and EAGL Regional Office, prepare and submit financial and programmatic (external and internal) reports for IGAD, KFW and DRC as required (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual) – in English.
- Maintain good working relationships with officials, government ministries, subcontractors/partners, implementing partners and the international and local NGO community, where necessary – in French.
Field trips:
- Weekly field trips to Ali Sabieh and Ali Addeh:
- To monitor the implementation of the accompanying measure
- To monitor the construction and supervision activities
- To liaise with the local coordination committee.
- Participate in the biweekly joint site visits with the Contractor and the D&S Consultant.
Local market coordination committee:
- Support IGAD and the local government to set up market coordination committees and their terms of reference (ToR)
- Train the committee members technically in operating and maintaining the markets.
- Set up initial operation and maintenance (O&M) schedules for the committees.
- Ensure the development of the committees’ “soft skills”: set-up of a grievance mechanism, peace and conflict management, social cohesion, and focus on

The Team
Birmingham City FC Foundation is growing. The Foundation team are passionate about working together to make change happen. Project Management

AI for Future Skills
• Identify and manage projects that apply AI tools to build transferable, digital, and job-relevant skills for youth.
• Explore and test the potential of AI to personalise learning, support educators, and close skills gaps in marginalised communities.
• Ensure ethical, context sensitive, and inclusive use of AI in education projects, especially for girls, children with disabilities, and crisis-affected learners.
Partner Management and Grant Oversight
• Lead relationships with local delivery partners, edtech companies, and civil society organisations to co-deliver impactful projects.
• Draft and manage contracts and reporting templates; support partners with MEL frameworks aligned with pilot-to-scale goals.
• Conduct partner check-ins, manage grants, track spending, and ensure timely reporting and adaptive learning.
Learning and Contribution to Strategy
• Document and disseminate learnings and emerging insights on AI in education.
• Contribute to Theirworld’s knowledge assets and participate in knowledge sharing platforms and global convenings.
• Support scale strategies by contributing to replication toolkits and packages based on pilot results.
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Theirworld, including development, campaigns, advocacy, communications, and research teams, to ensure alignment, maximise impact, and foster shared learning.
• Actively contribute to cross-organisational initiatives, helping integrate projects into wider strategic objectives.
• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline
• Provide additional support to the Director of Programmes and other team members as required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and organisational priorities.
Experience, Skills and Character
• 5 - 7 years of experience in education, edtech, or AI-for-development projects.
• Proven project management experience delivering initiatives in partnership with local organisations, NGOs, or tech providers.
• Strong understanding of education systems, future skills development, and how technology (especially AI) can support them.

Charity People are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Share Your Heart, a major donor campaign and art exhibition for this charity. This initiative invites artists and public figures to create heart themed artworks, which will be exhibited and auctioned at the Saatchi Gallery in February 2026. The event includes a private reception, live auction, public exhibition, and online auction.
This role involves working closely with the CEO, Fundraising Manager, and wider team to coordinate all aspects of the campaign. It is a unique opportunity for an experienced events professional with a passion for the arts and strong project management skills to contribute to a high-profile initiative within a respected international charity.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the project timeline and budget, ensuring key milestones are met
- Identifying and approaching artists, celebrities and high net worth individuals to secure artwork contributions
- Liaising with galleries and agents to gather biographies and artwork details
- Overseeing the cataloguing, photography, and framing of artwork
- Coordinating with the venue and vendors to deliver the exhibition and event
- Supporting sponsorship outreach and engagement
- Collaborating on communications including invitations, brochures, email updates, and PR
- Overseeing guest list management and ticketing
- Leading volunteer recruitment, briefing, and support
- Supervising logistics including transport, packing, and supplies
- Managing on-the-ground event delivery including installation, registration, and troubleshooting

Purpose of the Role
The role of the Project Officer – Legal Services (POLS) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs globally. The POLS will do this by coordinating the internal processes for project sourcing, scoping and allocating, and utilising legal expertise within these processes and when providing external training and communications.
A key focus of this role is to source and scope out the weekly pro bono projects and forms. The POLS will also engage law firms and other legal stakeholders, conduct due diligence, allocate projects, maintain project records, gather feedback, prepare internal reports and external communications and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). Other key responsibilities include assisting the PBLM with any bespoke projects, assisting with training events for Development Partners on relevant legal topics, and engaging key Legal or Development Partners on any specific areas of legal interest or need.
