Project Manager – Well-Established Charity 
Leeds, West Yorkshire (with travel throughout Leeds) 
£25,250 per annum 

Are you a Project Manager seeking a rewarding, new role? Want to drive the success of innovative services that are reducing isolation and helping older people get involved in their community? If so, we would love to hear from you. 

Royal Voluntary Service is an innovative charity that focuses on inspiring people to give the gift of voluntary service to support the NHS and older people at home and in the community. We are now looking for a Project Manager to support the success of our services in Leeds. 

This is your chance to become an integral member of a passionate team, make a positive impact on your community and oversee services that improve people’s lives for the better. 

As the Project Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of our Neighbourhood Networks services in Leeds. 

Neighbourhood Networks offers a range of community support services. These services aim to help older people reconnect with their community and build strength, resilience and independence. 

Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you will: 

- Oversee the ongoing development of our services in Meanwood, Roundhay and Chapel Allerton
- Manage all aspects of the service, including people, finance, governance and external relationships 
- Recruit, lead and motivate staff and volunteers 
- Communicate with stakeholders 
- Perform a range of admin tasks 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Project management and change management experience 
- Experience of managing and motivating teams of staff and volunteers
- Previous experience of managing high value services to agreed budgets
- Experience of working with public sector commissioners
- Direct experience of managing a service and delivering it over multiple sites with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience of co-production and/or asset-based development or willingness to learn
- Experience of using databases to monitor and evaluate information
- Knowledge of the voluntary and community sector
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Self-motivated and proactive, as the Project Manager, you’ll have fantastic organisational, planning and prioritisation abilities. You’ll also be a confident communicator who can quickly build strong working relationships. 

The closing date for applications is the 19th November 2019 with interviews to be held on 21st November 2019. 

This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week.
