About the Role

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation while leading on key projects during this three month cover period. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee and manage the Overcoming BDD Programme (OBP), ensuring effective delivery, volunteer support and supervision, and a high quality, compassionate experience for all participants.

In addition to the Overcoming BDD Programme, you will provide project management support across other core initiatives, including the Schools Project, Conference planning, and any additional projects that form part of the charity’s priorities during this period. You will work collaboratively with the team to maintain operational efficiency, uphold the charity’s values, and contribute to activities that extend our impact and support the BDD community.

This role also involves HR responsibilities, including overseeing the full employee life cycle of staff and volunteers, reviewing and updating charity policies, and managing any people or volunteer related queries or concerns. Knowledge and understanding of HR processes is desirable, but not essential - this can be discussed at interview or offer stage should it not already be part of your skillset.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator.  This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change. 

The Drive Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the successful delivery of key work strands across the partnership. As Lead, Member Engagement, you will be at the heart of building and deepening relationships with member organisations across the globe. You will:

• Deliver a clear and impactful member engagement strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission.
• Lead on the design and delivery of inspiring events, campaigns, and activities—including global initiatives such as the Global Congress and World Consumer Rights Day.
• Support and connect members, helping them build resilience, share knowledge, and collaborate on pressing consumer issues.
• Drive community growth by identifying opportunities for new members and initiatives.

This is a hands-on, creative, and strategic role for someone passionate about building strong, vibrant, and inclusive communities.

We’re looking for a candidate with:

• Proven experience in membership management, community building, or stakeholder engagement (ideally in a global or non-profit context).
• A strong track record in organising impactful events and campaigns.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness and the ability to work across international contexts.
• Strong organisational and IT skills (Salesforce or equivalent a plus).
• A collaborative, proactive, and inclusive approach.

A background in international non-profits, consumer rights, or advocacy is desirable, and additional language skills (Arabic, French, Spanish) would be a bonus.

About the role:

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

You’ll build strong, consistent relationships that inspire confidence and hope, supporting clients to access healthcare, develop life skills, explore work and training opportunities, and strengthen their sense of belonging in the community. By approaching every interaction with empathy and purpose, you’ll play a key role in creating the conditions for lasting change – helping people not just to move off the streets, but to move forward in life.

About you:

• Experience of working or supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with mental health, physical health or substance use support needs. 
• A non-judgemental approach to working with people facing multi-disadvantages and the skill to promote a strengths-based approach to case work and person-centred engagement.
• Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives.
• Strong time management skills, ability to manage a caseload of clients, work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.
