As a Project Worker, you’ll play a leading role in helping clients understand and manage their emotional and mental health needs, while developing the confidence and skills to live independently. JOB SUMMARY: Ensure that assigned countries received effective day-to-day HQ support. Advocating for the needs of the assigned Countries needs within the organization and ensure that programme Officers effectively coordinate communications between all departments, including compliance, programming, logistics, legal, security, human resource and communication. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensures the field programs team fulfill contractual obligations and commitments to beneficiaries and stakeholders for assigned countries
- Ensures that donors and internal reporting is submitted on time and in fulfilment of contractual obligations for the countries covered
- Ensures that established processes and procedures are followed by the Program Officers and flags issues as necessary to the Senior Manager
- External representation as required with donors
- Guide assigned programme team toward best work standards and schedules; ensure effective implementation in the region; facilitate appropriate development and training for regional employees; ensure timely review of employee work quality and initiate transparent steps to correct inadequate performance; approve employees' work schedules and time reports;

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically, a Bachelor's degree in related field + Project management certification + Significant relevant experience..
- Significant relevant experience managing, building, leading and developing a team of staff and field- based work experience in the sector.
- Experience implementing as a Senior Program Officer or in managerial role
- Experience in leading development of large-scale or strategic proposals, including the development of project budgets greater than $5 million
- Experience in implementing projects funded by US, UK, EU, Canadian, Australian, UN and other donor governments
- Experience of project and financial management in a multi-partner or multi-agency consortia
- Demonstrated experience of developing and managing relationships with donors
- Knowledge of Project cycle management
- Experience with Logical Framework project planning and design

To lead and deliver Richmond CVS’s support services for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough. This includes providing high-quality advice, training, and development support, alongside managing key projects and coordinating external consultants.
The role is central to strengthening the VCSE sector, with a focus on organisational development, fundraising, and governance. It also involves working closely with statutory partners including Richmond Council and the South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring that VCSE organisations are well-positioned to engage with and influence local systems.
The postholder will also lead the design and delivery of new initiatives, including externally funded programmes, and will have the opportunity to shape and evolve the role in response to emerging needs.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Development
Provide tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

To lead the financial management and oversight of the ADB project, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and oversight. The role will support the delivery of all financial aspects of the ADB project, including donor reporting, reconciliations, cost recovery, budgeting, and compliance, in close collaboration with programme colleagues and the wider AKF(UK) finance team. To contribute to the financial management of AKF(UK)’s wider programme portfolio and supporting the Programme Finance Manager in running efficient and effective financial processes across all AKF(UK)’s programmes and grants.
Financial oversight, planning, and reporting
• Review all financial transactions related to the ADB project on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.
• Ensure the ADB project is up to date in the Grant Management Tracker, Co-financing Tracker and Cost Recovery forecast.
• Prepare financial information for internal reporting, including contributions to quarterly CEO reports, monthly dashboards, and co-finance updates.
• Prepare all ADB project donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.
• Prepare and submit other donor financial reports as required.
• Monitor project and portfolio spending, flagging significant under & overspends in a timely manner to the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes & Partnerships team.
Financial controls, compliance, and audit
• Lead financial planning and monitoring for the ADB project, ensuring alignment with ADB compliance requirements and AKF(UK) internal controls.
• Support the design and implementation of quality controls, manuals, checklists, and tools to ensure compliance with donor requirements (ADB and others).
• Oversee compliance with donor and AKF(UK) rules on procurement, accounting, and project expenditure, supported by reporting, engagement with the field, and spot checks.
• Maintain internal tools (including AIMS) to track active ADB grants as well as other grants, ensuring data on secured funding, cost recovery, and cash balances remains up to date.
• Prepare for and support donor and statutory audits, with particular responsibility for the ADB project while also contributing to audits of other grants.
• Maintain an up-to-date audit and disallowance tracker for the ADB project, while supporting the Programme Finance Manager in tracking audit issues across all grants.
• Troubleshoot donor compliance or procurement queries, with emphasis on ADB but extending to other donor portfolios where needed.
• Act as a resource person for ADB donor compliance within AKF(UK), while sharing knowledge and lessons learned more widely across the grants portfolio.
• Support wider Programme Finance team capacity-building efforts, drawing on insights from ADB donor requirements and practices.
Grant financial management
In close consultation with the programmes & partnerships team:
• Maintain accurate financial records and grant codes for the ADB project, while supporting the set-up and management of other grants as needed.
• Ensure timely submission of cash requests and sub-grant agreements, in compliance with both ADB and AKF(UK) standards, and support the same across the wider portfolio.
• Review budgets for ADB and other donor concepts/proposals, ensuring inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, compliance with donor requirements, and consistency with narratives.
• Support the in-country project management unit (PMU) to ensure that the project is robustly managed and proactively support the resolution of challenges as they arise.
• Provide training and reference materials for implementing partners and field staff on ADB-specific donor regulations, procurement, and reporting, while contributing to broader finance training across the organisation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners and country units, with particular focus on ADB compliance but also assisting with other donor requirements as needed.
• Conduct monitoring visits and spot checks on the ADB project and participate in risk monitoring across the wider portfolio.
• Collaborate with the assigned Senior Partnerships Manager to align financial management with programme delivery.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants, particularly Afghanistan (security situation dependent). Normally this could be 1-2 trips per year.
Qualifications
• CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).
Experience
• 3 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures
• Experience of managing finances for large-scale, complex donor-funded projects. Experience of working with multilateral development banks (ADB, World Bank, AfDB, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies, including field-level implementation, is highly desirable.
Skills

Working in close partnership with voluntary and community organisations, the NHS, and other local agencies, you’ll help strengthen Redbridge’s community support infrastructure. Prior experience in social prescribing, project coordination, or health and wellbeing initiatives will be especially valued.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work three days per week in our Gants Hill office.

The Communications Team tells people who Liberty is, what we do and how they can get involved – helping to shape the narrative of the media debate and influence decision makers. This role requires proven experience of line managing colleagues and devising and executing strategic national media and digital comms plans.
Liberty is a small organisation, which punches above its weight. The Media and Communications Manager will combine strong project management and hands-on day-to-day delivery, line managing a team of three in a fast-paced environment which includes a 24-hour press office.
This is an important leadership role. The post-holder will advise senior colleagues, set messaging, lead projects across earned and owned channels, brief and train spokespeople, build and maintain relationships with journalists and other external stakeholders, and draft and edit media materials.
Success will see integrated, collaborative and ambitious project planning to support policy, campaigns and legal cases to engage key audiences with impactful communications and enhance Liberty’s reputation and influence.

Candidates should be educated to degree level, with strong knowledge of project management frameworks. You must have proven experience in leading complex projects as well as excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work autonomously as well as within a team, and be able to adapt to changing contexts. Knowledge or experience within an education, qualification or training environment or an understanding of psychology qualifications and assessment models would be advantageous.

SCBP is seeking to appoint a Bike Project Manager. Working closely with the CEO, trustees and volunteers, you will play a key role in ensuring our community workshop thrives as a welcoming, organised and sustainable space.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the project, support and manage our volunteer team, and develop new systems and initiatives to support the organisation’s growth. SCBP is at a key moment of growth. At the same time, as a grassroots charity, central to our ethos is nurturing a sense of community ownership and collaboration. Another key part of our culture is our “hands-on-tools approach”: participants are encouraged to do cycle maintenance themselves with help from our volunteers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Officer for Dartmoor, you will deliver the Bike It Moor project, which forms part of the Dartmoor’s Dynamic Landscapes (DDL) programme. You will work in partnership and collaboration with other the DDL partners, who are also delivering projects as part of DDL, to accomplish shared objectives and targets. The DDL programme is led by Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) and made possible by a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to offer this exciting new role.
You will engage and work with selected schools and their wider communities in the project areas, developing and delivering fun, engaging and innovative activities and events. These will be inclusive and promote and enable all forms of active travel (walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling) to school.
You will plan and deliver practical skills (like cycle and scooter skills sessions, bike maintenance and led walks and rides), information events (such as assemblies, drop-in sessions, pop up stands), competitions, incentive programmes and classroom sessions. You will also plan and deliver day and overnight cycling and walking experiences, giving pupils the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local green landscape, immerse pupils in the natural heritage of the area.
You will report directly to the local Project Manager and will recruit, train and support local volunteers on the project, as well as engaging with project officers across the South region and the UK.
Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS is required to be completed by the successful person. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected.
ABOUT YOU
You should have experience of working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to adapt your approach to meet varying needs. You must demonstrate evidence of planning and delivering engaging and interactive group workshops and activity sessions, as well as experience of events planning.
You will have experience of delivering successful behaviour change projects, ideally with a physical activity focus, and have an understanding of community based or environmental projects.
You will be a skilled communicator, with the ability to connect with different audiences ranging from children, parents, school staff and the wider community.

Job Purpose
- To lead and deliver Butterfly Conservation’s strategic aims for nature recovery in Northern Ireland, maximising our impact for butterflies, moths and people.
- To implement BC’s objectives through leadership of the Northern Ireland Nature Recovery team, setting and managing budgets, targets and workplans while inspiring and enabling staff to achieve their best.
- To develop and strengthen collaboration with BC staff, volunteers, stakeholders and partners to drive progress on BC’s targeted species recovery programmes, landscape-scale initiatives and wider nature recovery in Northern Ireland.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive delivery of BC’s strategic objectives through designing and managing workplans for the Nature Recovery Northern Ireland team, translating ideas into action and ensuring effective reporting to monitor and share evidence of our impact.
- Lead BC’s species recovery work for priority butterflies and moths in Northern Ireland, setting objectives and driving targeted action to recover populations of some of our most threatened species.
- Lead our landscape-scale conservation work in Northern Ireland, developing and overseeing projects using butterflies and moths as indicators of nature recovery across a landscape.
- Develop and deliver new approaches to contribute to broader nature recovery across Northern Ireland, including exploring potential nature markets and developing our advice and services to reach more partners.
- Lead, manage and be accountable for the Nature Recovery team in Northern Ireland, including a small number of direct line management reports. Responsible for budgeting, work planning and resource management, including overseeing annual performance management, team meetings, supporting training needs, staff development and well-being.
- Lead the development of new nature recovery projects, including partner liaison, project planning and design, budgeting and reporting to funders. Collaborate with Nature Recovery, Fundraising, and Finance teams to build a case for support and develop bids for external funding through partnerships, appeals and services.
- Be responsible for Northern Ireland Nature Recovery budgets and their control, working closely with the Finance team to ensure effective planning and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure close working between BC staff, Branches and key volunteers in delivering co-ordinated nature recovery action towards BC’s strategic goals across Northern Ireland.
- Support the Engagement and Volunteering team in the development and delivery of volunteering activity across Northern Ireland, putting people at the heart of our work.
- Work with BC’s policy team and NGO partners to support collaborative work on major policy issues and advocate BC priorities in Northern Ireland.
- Promote the impact of our work across Northern Ireland, including contributing to impact reporting within BC and providing inspiring and engaging external communications to wider audiences.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to ensure back-office functions are efficient and timely. You will work across our fuel poverty and retrofit projects supporting project managers and key staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard. The role will be varied, and some tasks will change over time as we secure further funded projects that require administrative support.
Pay and conditions.
- The role is a fixed term period of 12 months. We will consider applications for the role on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
- The salary for the role will be £28,124 per year full-time (37.5 hours per week), pro rata for part-time.

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- To sort HES inbound post, ensuring items are passed to the correct team or staff member.
- To coordinate HES outbound post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
- To speak to households by telephone and triage households to appropriate HES projects.
- To book home visits for advisors and retrofit assessors, keeping calendars up to date with appointments, cancellations, and amendments. Accurately completing the home visits risk assessment when required.

- To record client details and follow HES team guidance documents to assess the help and support needed.
