Job Title Director of Marketing and Communications

Working Hours 37.5 hour working week, 9:00 to 5:30 Monday to Friday to include some evening and weekend hours as required

Job Purpose
This role is a senior leadership team member and strategic lead for all corporate and consumer communications, member business engagement and marketing.
The relationship with our business community is essential to the success of The Fitzrovia Partnership (TFP) and the delivery of the organisation’s vision and it is a key part of our strategy to ensure that businesses are aware of us and the services and projects we deliver. As such you would be responsible for the delivery of member engagement.
You will lead the marketing and communications function and manage the Marcomms team, continually developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies clearly articulating TFP’s vision, aims, projects and services.
Finally, you will provide strategic oversight and development for:
· Member communication strategy including BID renewal communications
· Consumer communications and campaigns strategy
· Social, wellbeing, member event and training programmes
· All communications channels including newsletter, websites, social media
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Leadership
· To play a role together with the CEO and the Director of Policy and Place in setting the overall vision of the organisation and ensuring delivery specifically in relation to the agreed business plan.
· Have a key role working closely with the Board and relevant sub-groups.
· To represent the organisation publicly as required, and step in for the CEO as required.
Member Engagement
· Driving, developing and ensuring implementation of the member engagement strategy.
· Ensuring effective account management contact with member businesses.
· Developing a detailed mid-term consultation and review.
- Overseeing market research and consultation such as surveys, customer questionnaires and focus groups to inform the development of plans, projects and services.
· Ensuring effective response management to enquiries from members (levy paying businesses) and stakeholders.
· Ensuring the company database is maintained as an accurate source of interactions with businesses and members, and is actively utilised to best effect.
· Ensure a programme of engagement is in place with the business community, charities and Not for Profit organisations to develop outreach projects including volunteer days and CSR activities for our business members.
Strategy and oversight
· Developing and ensuring implementation of an effective Marketing and Communications strategy aligned to business goals.

Consumer Marketing

Projects
· Developing, refreshing and ensuring implementation of project specific communications (new and existing).
· Providing creative input and Marcomms elements of new, placemaking and cultural projects.
· Identifying and securing brand-aligned sponsorships to enhance destination campaigns.
· Driving joint marketing with businesses, tourism and media partners.
· Structuring BID renewal communications based on insights gained throughout the BID term.
Communication and Marketing Channels and Collateral
· Ensuring production of high quality and effective collateral.
· Considering and where appropriate developing new communications channels.
· Ensuring TFP’s messaging is clear, effective, accurate and alive to different audiences and local and other sensitivities.
Team Leadership
· Leading and developing a high-performing, collaborative MarComms team
· Managing MarComms budgets, procurement, KPIs, forecasting and reporting to ensure best value and effective impact.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Finance & Operations to take ownership of all internal operations that ensure the organisation’s effectiveness, accountability, compliance, and resilience. Hours and place of work
- This is a full-time role to be fulfilled over a 35-hour week, ideally within the working hours of Mon-Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility as required.
- This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our shared office space in London (Better Space, 127 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3DA), the travel costs of which must be covered by the individual. We are open to discussing this arrangement further to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
- Further UK travel will be required on occasion, the costs of which would be covered by Clore Social Leadership.
Terms, pay and benefits
- This is a permanent contract.
- Salary for this role will be ca. £55,000 p/a depending on experience.
- The post holder is entitled to 25 days of annual leave, in addition to UK statutory holidays.
- The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.
- You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.

The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of youth work in England. As Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the National Youth Agency (NYA), you’ll play a central role in influencing national policy and driving change that impacts young people’s lives.
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our Policy, Insights and External Affairs Directorate. - Support the delivery of the Ambassador Programme, including recruitment, training and retention of LGBT+ volunteers aged 18–25.
- Coordinate and run community events for Black LGBT+ young people to support outreach and recruitment of volunteers.
- Represent Just Like Us at events such as conferences and prides to amplify our programmes to a range of audiences.

Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will directly support on day-to-day incident management, as well as acting as a focal point ensuring coordinated, timely, and appropriate support to programmes from other departments. You will ensure effective management oversight on business planning objectives, and on occasion on the delivery of strategic projects. You will work closely with our Regional Directors to develop new programme activities, including supporting assessments, planning, and project mobilisation.
About you:
You will be a senior humanitarian professional with significant experience working in an NGO with a focus on international programme management and delivery across multiple country contexts. You will be experienced in the critical assessment, development, and implementation of management structures and systems designed to improve overall delivery of activities. You will be an excellent communicator, with significant experience coordinating programme delivery and support functions including human resource management, logistics and procurement, finance and compliance. You will be a strategic leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and influence to drive change. You will be ready to travel internationally, including to insecure and conflict-affected areas, and have a solid understanding of geopolitical dynamics and their security impact. Ultimately you will be proactive, tenacious, pragmatic, and committed to MAG’s mission, values, and approach.

Public Affairs Manager (Fixed term contract)

Your purpose
This is a critical role in the Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs Department. As Public Affairs Manager, you will support the Head of Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs to make oracy education ordinary, co-ordinating and project managing and delivering public affairs work as well as leading public relations work that increases our profile with policy makers. In doing so, you will play an integral role in ensuring all children, regardless of their background, find their voice for success in school and in life.
Your responsibilities
This is a senior role in the Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs Department, as part of the wider Learning, Impact and Influence Directorate
Public Affairs (80%)

Drive forward Voice 21’s public affairs strategy, building key relationships, understanding and momentum that develops Voice 21’s influence with Government and non-parliamentary policy makers, ensuring that we have a meaningful role in shaping an oracy entitlement for every child, and appropriate mechanisms for its implementation

Deliver Public Affairs business as usual work, for example; organising school visits, leading political and parliamentary monitoring, stakeholder mapping and horizon-scanning and organising events in parliament and at party conferences

Work with policy makers on local, regional and national level to influence those responsible for the delivery of education at primary and secondary level

Engage and manage stakeholders and other key people across and beyond the organisation who work with the Learning, Impact and Influence directorate to leverage relationships in pursuit of our organisational strategy and mission

Lead on Voice 21’s role as secretariat to the Oracy All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG)

Produce/co-produce consultation responses, blogs, internal and external briefings, parliamentary questions and other related communications in line with our content strategy

The Opportunity
We are looking for a diligent and data-minded Grants Assistant to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the WFN grants team in monitoring and evaluating active grants, analysing and assessing the charity’s impact, and in the smooth running of our grants programmes. This is an entry level role, ideal for a candidate looking to put their conservation expertise into practice, and to support impactful grassroots conservation work around the world.
The Grants Assistant will support the Head of Grants and Grants and Network Manager in WFN’s application and review processes, grant management, and impact evaluation work, and will support the flow of information about the work our winners are doing on the ground to the rest of the WFN team. GRANTS ASSISTANT - PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Essential:
· MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Conservation/ Zoology/ Environmental Science)

· Data-minded and analytical, with solid understanding of evaluation methods and trends
· Strong writing skills with ability to turn technical reports and language into accessible content for a lay audience
· Efficient and organised, with high attention to detail and ability to manage logistics
· Proficient and comfortable using databases
· Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
· Flexible ‘can do’ approach and will flourish in a small team and charity environment

About KLS’ Future Foundations education team
Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.
Key Objectives for this Role
Working with the Lead Youth Worker you will:
Homework Clubs
•Collect up to date consent information for all young people joining Future Foundations
•Support with creating session plans for club nights
•Research and source necessary resources activities
•Support to plan and run engaging and fun activities/ongoing projects for the young people
•Use participatory methods to involve young people about Clubs
•Ensure children’s participation and encourage ownership of and responsibility for the Clubs
•Implement our behaviour management policy
•Liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding Clubs and Mentoring
•Support with maintaining robust recording and monitoring systems (including registers) and ensure quotes, case studies and feedback are saved and stored
•Maintain, collect, edit and store documentation of activities, including photos, case studies and videos, for Newsletters, funding reports and other records
•Maintain excellent safeguarding practices
•Support whole team with making referrals to external partners and support agencies
•Support the Lead Youth Worker with running a weekly Youth Club for post-16 young people
•Support mentor coordinator with running early years mentoring sessions, when needed

Trips and activities
•Work with the Lead Youth Worker and Community Learning Coordinator to develop an annual programme of activity and trips during school holidays
•Ensure that this is done in collaboration with our children, young people, their families and other KLS projects
•Assist with the summer programme development, organisation and delivery
Teamwork and reporting
•Work with Future Foundations team members to coordinate work, refer young people and/or parents/carers to our casework and advice team.
•Contribute to reports for trustees and funders and attend periodic meetings with funders
•Communicate well with other teams within KLS to provide a high-quality service to our members
