The Portfolio & Risk Team manages the SCUK International Restricted Portfolio, supporting Country Offices and local partners in achieving strategic goals. Key Accountabilities

The Portfolio Manager for West and Central Africa (WCA) is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Save the Children UK's portfolio across multiple Country Offices in the region. This includes providing direct management support to Country Offices, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting the effective delivery of programmes and partnerships. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the postholder will lead on managing risks, issues and challenges specific to the WCA portfolio and escalate as necessary to senior colleagues.

The role works closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager for WCA and the Regional Portfolio Lead to ensure regional priorities are supported and delivered. About You

We are looking for someone with the following experience, competencies and skills:

• Project and Portfolio Management: Experience in managing portfolios across multiple Country Offices, with knowledge of donor compliance requirements and the proven experience of ensuring a portfolio of work is delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with donor requirements and agreed outcomes.

• Risk Management and Mitigation: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and addressing risks at both the portfolio and project levels, ensuring that strategies are in place to minimise or resolve potential issues.

Bliss is the UK’s leading national charity for babies born premature or sick, and we are looking for a Digital Project Manager to join our skilled and creative team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take responsibility for the overall project management and development of a new website for Bliss. Battersea has recently approved a new 5-year organisational strategy to deliver an even greater impact for dogs and cats through our Prevent, Support and Care activity. About the role

You will be at the forefront of establishing a centrally-located PMO to embed project excellence in a mission-driven environment, operating both strategically and hands on across the King’s Fund. Your responsibilities will include developing and embedding project management standards and governance frameworks, establishing a performance framework to understand the impact of our projects, and providing oversight and assurance for key projects and programmes.

You will engage with senior leaders and staff leading and coordinators to embed a culture of effective project delivery, lead change management and continuous improvement efforts, and act as a trusted advisor on project and programme management. Additionally, you may matrix-manage project staff or line manage a small team as the PMO grows, ensuring effective use of project management tools and systems through a cross-organisation community of practice.

About you

As an established PMO Manager, you will bring your experience in setting up PMOs and use your knowledge of a diverse range of project and programme management methodologies. You will be enthusiastic about making a difference, and are able to bring people with you in change. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of facilitation, and influencing skills, and proven experience in managing change are essential.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Manager to work as part of our Evidence and Impact Team.

The Evidence and Impact team at Rethink Mental Illness ensures the organisation maximises its impact through data-driven decision-making, robust evaluation, and strategic analytics. This role will sit within the team but have a dedicated project remit, working closely with partners across the NHS, voluntary sector, and government data bodies. The postholder will act as a subject matter expert in statutory health datasets and data integration, while also contributing to Rethink’s wider ambition to demonstrate leadership in mental health data innovation.

How you will make a difference

This is a strategic, delivery-focused role designed to lead Rethink Mental Illness’s work on the national Mental Health Services Dataset (MHSDS). The postholder will manage a pioneering project to design and implement data flows from Rethink alliances – including Open Mental Health in Somerset and Synergy in Sheffield – into the MHSDS. Our alliance model is aligned with the government’s neighbourhood health agenda – enabling the NHS to work in a fully integrated way with a range of community based and grassroots organisations. Ensuring that data flows from these organisations is critical.

The role will build a robust data model, work directly with voluntary sector partners to understand their CRM systems, and develop automated submissions that ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Beyond compliance, the postholder will position Rethink Mental Illness as a sector thought leader by creating a replicable model that enables voluntary sector data to be integrated into national reporting – an ambition that has not yet been achieved elsewhere.

This assignment will be fulfilled at 30 hours per week across Monday–Thursday. The successful applicant will be required to visit the charity's Twickenham office at a minimum of once per week.

Fowler’s Syndrome UK (FSUK) is the only charity in the world dedicated to women (and afab) with Fowler’s Syndrome or Chronic Idiopathic Urinary Retention; a life-changing and poorly understood bladder condition that causes full or partial urinary retention.

The CEO is looking to appoint a highly organised, pragmatic, and detail-focused professional to deliver executive, project and governance support on an initial fixed-term contract of 1 year.

In this vital role, you will harness your initiative as you provide proactive PA support to the CEO and Chairs of the medical and trustee boards, while delivering project and event coordination across FSUK’s core programmes.

Excitingly, alongside executive and governance administration and support and ensuring that the charity maintains the highest standards of compliance and record-keeping, you will also be responsible for project management of two major initiatives such as FSUK’s flagship CURATE consensus project, alongside their annual two-day conference. From coordinating clinicians and steering groups, to managing logistics, guest travel, supplier liaison, and on-the-day delivery, you’ll ensure these complex projects run efficiently. You will also assist with grant applications, research activity, and the production of project trackers and reports.

Are you inspired by the prospect of coordinating projects and events, and do you flourish when responsible for a broad portfolio of work?

Being exceptionally well-organised, confident in managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders is crucial for the success of this post. You’ll need to have excellent project management, written skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the discretion to handle sensitive information. Experience with grant applications, safeguarding, or working in a charity, healthcare, or academic setting would be advantageous, though not essential.

Lived experience of Fowler’s Syndrome is not essential but would be a welcome bonus!

What will I be doing?

As Project Officer, Physics Workforce, you’ll be part of the Education and Workforce team, supporting our mission to build a strong, diverse physics workforce for the future. Your work will help identify and address the skills needs of physics-powered sectors and highlight the vital role physics skills play in our economy.

You’ll support the delivery of projects, research and evidence-building activities that influence education, skills policy and practice, working closely colleagues across the organisation, members and other external stakeholders.

Projects you may work on include:

• Supporting research to map skills gaps in physics-powered industries
• Coordinating stakeholder networks across education, skills, higher education, and business sectors
• Helping to design and deliver events, research launches, and campaigns that drive engagement and impact
• Supporting the management of project processes including contracts, tenders, budgets and reporting

Are you an experienced manager with a passion for delivering high quality services to people with learning disabilities? Are you committed to working in collaboration with service users, maximising independence, self-confidence and integration in the community? If so, you may be just the person we are looking for to take the lead on developing our newly awarded supported living service based in the Harrow and Wembley area.

Based across two properties, you and your team will be supporting ten adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, as well as additional mental and physical health needs.

You will play a pivotal ambassadorial role, continuing Centre’s 404 service expansion into the London Brough of Brent and bringing our expertise, vision and values to families in need.

This varied and dynamic role will lead on the set up, coordination and provision of excellent person-centred care and support to service users, enabling them to live independently in their home and be supported in all aspects of day-to-day living. As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to meet individual needs. You will also contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of support workers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage.
