Wood Lane End is a specialist supported living service designed for individuals with learning disabilities and Autism, particularly those with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. The service is structured around a single-customer model, meaning the home is tailored to one individual, ensuring highly personalised care and support. Staff are trained in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) and Autism-specific approaches to ensure the customer's emotional and physical wellbeing is prioritised at all times. As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Area Service Manager in overseeing service delivery, safeguarding, and staff supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and Resident Care

· Undertake key working responsibilities and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks.

Safeguarding and Serious Incident Reporting

There is a clear duty to follow LBL’s safeguarding protocols, including timely reporting of serious and notifiable incidents to the appropriate authorities and participation in safeguarding reviews if required. Night staff will be trained in recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns, including domestic violence and abuse, and understand the escalation routes within the partnership framework.

Safety and Security

· Ensure resident safety by implementing visitor procedures and preventing unauthorised access.

· Conduct health and safety checks and patrols around the building and exterior.

· Monitor CCTV, address antisocial behaviour, and complete relevant reports

· Report repairs and any health and safety issues

Incident and Emergency Procedures

Night staff must be familiar with emergency protocols, including fire safety, evacuation, and business continuity plans, ensuring resident safety and compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.

Administrative Duties

· Update INFORM with relevant details of all resident interactions during shifts.

· Maintain accurate and comprehensive resident records to professional standards.

· Encourage residents to pay rent and ensure rent accounts are managed effectively.

Housing Management and Property Standards

Night Waking Support Workers must conduct regular health and safety checks, report repairs promptly

Professional Development

· Engage in learning and development activities to increase knowledge and skills.

The Role

What you will do:

The role encompasses all aspects of digital marketing activity, including both B2B and B2C. You’ll also be supporting commercial activities for Waddesdon Manor, the trading company RWL which includes Catering for the Manor operation, visitors, retail, public events, private events, The Bow and The Five Arrows, and any special projects for the Rothschild Foundation e.g. future commercial property developments.

About The Role

St Mungo’ s Hackney Move On service provides semi-independent accommodation consisting of 39 bed spaces split between 7 shared properties to people exiting short stay/long term hostel/supported housing provisions in preparation for independent general needs accommodation. Clients accessing our services have all experienced homelessness, may be in recovery for substance or alcohol use or an addressed mental health need or are currently positively engaged with external services around any identified needs.

Our team is looking for a Housing and Lettings Worker who will play a key role in providing a welcoming, safe and supportive environment while providing housing and tenancy related management support to clients at the service. You will be responsible for the quick turn-around of bed space voids and supporting new/current clients with benefits claims, accessing relevant health care and treatment appointments and signposting to other relevant support services. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a team in to ensure that a person-centred approach is taken when working with clients
• Advice and assistance to clients in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
• Advice and assistance to clients to identify and access move-on options
• Taking the lead on the process of clearing rooms when residents leave, deal with housing management and maintenance issues across our 7 sites and support the day to day running of the office and other communal areas.

Hackney Move On is staffed on a rota basis between the hours of 9am–9pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays and includes periods of lone working.

About you

This role will suit people with some experience of housing or property management, experience of providing excellent service and managing complex and difficult situations in relation to people. You should also have:

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with others whilst managing your own time.
• A non-judgemental approach to working with homeless people and an understanding of the needs and support requirements of vulnerable clients on low (or no) incomes; including those with mental health and/or substance dependency problems.
• Ability to learn internal systems, processes and IT applications to manage compliance within the service.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

What is the Operations Committee? The Operations Committee's focus is to ensure that our tenants' views are heard and translated into action by Midland Heart. One of our Independent Committee Members is reaching the end of their term in office, so we're seeking a new member to join us in September 2025; playing a critical role in shaping our operations and helping to ensure that Midland Heart continues to provide brilliant homes and services for our tenants, now and into the future.

As a member of our Operations Committee, you'll contribute your experience, knowledge and insight to provide effective scrutiny and guidance to our Executive Team and our Board regarding our approach to tenant engagement, delivering tenant focused service, our operational performance, as well as our policies that directly impact the service and homes that we provide.

Our ideal candidate? You'll have a strong housing, facilities or asset management background and not have previously served on our Operations Committee. To make the most positive impact possible, you'll also come equipped with previous experience of customer / tenant relations and/or customer regulation, for example: fair access to services, customer engagement and involvement, understanding customer needs and priorities and seeking assurance that these are being met.

About you: You'll be a strategic people leader with a track record of developing talent pipelines that support business growth and transformation. You'll bring:

• Chartered CIPD status (or equivalent), with evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience of translating organisational priorities into successful talent development strategies.
• Experience of leading teams and delivering large-scale development programmes.
• Extensive experience of designing and delivering an early careers programme, aligned to the future skills of the business.

Our Aims

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate caretaker to join our team

In this role, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, as well as caring for the welfare of those under our care.

This includes everyday tasks such as cleaning, carrying out minor repairs, overseeing security measures, and aiding and supporting to our residents or occupants.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and fix maintenance issues, such as leaks or breakages
• Keep an itinerary of tools and jobs
• Manage supply inventory and reorder supplies as needed
• Carry out cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and dusting, to ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy
• Conduct minor repair work, including fixing broken locks, replacing light bulbs and carrying out basic plumbing work
• Monitor the property’s security systems and respond to alarms or potential threats
• Manage waste disposal and recycling activities
• Maintain outdoor areas, such as gardens and parking lots, including pruning shrubs and removing snow or debris

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to play a vital role in ensuring CCP's expanding Independent Living Support Services for young people leaving care in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding counties meet all staffing, contractual, legal and audit requirements providing the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards. You'll be based mainly at our Cheltenham headquarters, working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend cover if needed. Please note that due to the location of our properties, successful applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. Experience in supporting young people with independent living, and management is essential. As Senior Grants Manager, Environment and Communities, you will identify, assess, and manage grants that contribute to these evolving areas of interest. 

A particular focus of the role will be developing strategic grants and partnerships that contribute to Environmental Sustainability.  This is a developing area of interest, supporting activity that restores the natural environment and enabling practices such as nature friendly farming and community growing.  Current grantees include the Sustainable Food Trust, the Wildlife Trust, and local farmer clusters.  

The Foundation has recently launched a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting Buckinghamshire grantees to deliver progress in environmental sustainability.  The role will lead on the delivery of this programme.

As well as developing relationships with external stakeholders you will also closely collaborate with colleagues, making connections between grants and activities at Waddesdon Manor.  In particular, working closely with the Rothschild Foundation’s Sustainability and Conservation Department and the Education & Learning Department.

The role will also support the development and assessment of grants to the Rothschild Foundation’s Community Fund which is open to not for profit organisations in Buckinghamshire who support local communities, with a particular focus on disadvantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic development of our Environment programme, including current explorations in community growing, nature friendly farming and nature restoration.
• Leading on the delivery of a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting grantees and funded activities.  This will include working closely with the Evaluation and Impact Manager and Operations Manager to review the programme and make recommendations for future delivery to Grants Committee
• Maintaining an overview of the portfolio of ‘Environment’ grants, sharing learning and identifying connections across grantees
• Keeping up to date on sector development, identify funding gaps, and emerging opportunities.
• Identifying and supporting potential applicants, conducting visits, guiding proposal development, and ensuring due diligence standards are met
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with grantees, conducting six-monthly catch up conversations, visiting funded activity and acting as a ‘critical friend’
• Supporting the delivery of our Communities funding, including assessment of applications to the Community Fund and occasional Trustee related community grants
• Producing regular updates for Trustees, including project updates and data insights, and contribute to creative ways of sharing the impact of our funding
