We are currently recruiting for a Head of Treasury to join our growing Association. As a senior member of the finance team the role is responsible for delivering a first-class treasury management and business planning service to the Association.

Hightown currently manages almost 9,000 homes and employs over 1,000 staff. The housing association has an annual turnover of £136 million and a development programme through which the Association will grow to 10,000 homes by March 2027.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the role will manage and motivate the Treasury team ensuring that it runs as an efficient and effective service whilst fulfilling internal and external customer requirements.
Key to the role is managing the Association’s portfolio of over £850m of bank loans and capital borrowings, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date records are maintained, and excellent relationships are preserved with our banking and institutional investor partners.
The Head of Treasury is also responsible for creating and maintaining the long-term financial business plan for the Association and producing detailed sensitivity analysis and multi-variant stress-testing.
About you
You will be a subject matter expert and will drive continuous improvement in the efficiency, security and control of daily treasury and business planning activities.
Holding a professional accountancy qualification, (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and ideally a treasury qualification (eg MCT, ACT) you will:
- Be proactive with the ability to work to a general brief with minimal supervision
- Have excellent financial analytical and treasury skills
- Have experience of managing a loan portfolio in excess of £500m
- Have experience of negotiating and managing loan agreements with banks
- Have experience of arranging borrowings from institutional investors through the capital markets
- Have the ability and experience to develop and maintain appropriate treasury systems procedures and internal financial controls
- Have experience of building and maintaining complex business plan models
- Be a great leader and able to manage and motivate staff to achieve high standards of performance

To support the fantastic work we do we are seeking to recruit an Employee Relations Officer to help support the wider Human Resources team as they develop and deploy policies and procedures which support our People Plans across the whole company.
About the Role
Working as part of a dedicated and committed in-house HR Team you will support the full employee lifecycle and;
- Advise managers and staff on all ER issues and lead on case management including Absence, Flexible Working, Probation, Capability
- Confidently and proactively review, update and develop policies to support the People Plan in line with legislation and best practice
- Provide support to the Employee Relations Manager, including maintaining databases, preparing letter templates, attending meetings, taking minutes, filing, policy research and updates
- Prepare and analyse data for regular HR reports
- Support wider HR initiatives as required
Who we are looking for
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a HR team and have;
- Casework experience within Employee Relations and knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Experience in delivering an HR service within a busy working environment
- Confidence in delivering advice to all levels of staff and challenge constructively where necessary
- A passion for reducing absence and promoting health and wellbeing
- A high level of organisational skills with the ability to understand detailed information
- A CIPD qualification or part qualified or equivalent experience

Role and Responsibilities
DUE TO THE INCREASE IN REB MEMBERSHIPS, NETWORKS AND ACTIVITIES, AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY CROSSING BOTH ADMIN AND EVENTS SUPPORT, IS BEING RECRUITED.
TIME AND WORKLOAD WOULD BE DIVIDED BETWEEN BOTH ADMIN AND EVENTS SUPPORT AT AN AGREED SPLIT, BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.
Key Tasks –
Admin Assistant Role
· Work with the MD to provide services to the Board, the Patrons Group and Network of Networks (where required) including:
o Booking meeting rooms
o Setting meeting dates and sending calendar invitations (For MD and Executive team on an ad hoc basis)
o Circulating agenda & papers
o Attending meetings and taking minutes, predominantly with MD- both in person and virtually
o Maintaining the Terms of Reference
o Updating Board
o Main point of contact for Next Gen and NofN committees -updating membership on the CRM and webpages for both and attending meetings
o Provide admin support to MD as required including setting up meetings, preparing presentation slides and uploading meeting notes to Sharepoint
Events Assistant Role:
· Support the Events Administrator in the delivery of the REB events programme including:
o Event logistics planning and delivery
o Venue liaison
o Contributor liaison
o Event marketing and booking support
o Event materials preparation
o Event set up and set down
o Maintaining CRM records
o Supporting with event comms and marketing on Dynamics Marketing system and website
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

The main responsibilities of the interim Finance Business Partner are:
- Own the financial model for the loan facility with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, ensuring that income and expenditure forecasts and cash flow are kept up to date and all covenants are met.
- Work with the Director on the service charge forecasting and scenario planning as they market the building to new tenants.
- Provide a liaison between the finance team and the project teams within the venture to ensure everyone understands their role in complying with financial processes and policies.
- Lead on preparing month-end management accounts for all areas of responsibility, ensuring delivery of timely, accurate and robust reporting of financial performance against budget, forecasts and KPIs.
My client is looking for:
- Qualified accountant.
- Proven experience in project environment.
- Strong Financial Modelling/Analysis experience.
- Experience within property is desirable.
- Experience of working with a range of internal and external partners including non-finance personnel.
