We have an opportunity for a dedicated Case Officer to join our Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire casework team to manage and provide direct support, advice, and guidance to RBL beneficiaries across Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire on a wide range of issues including health, social care, employment, benefits, statutory support, and housing.

Each year, we assist around 12,000 people both in the UK and abroad. Reporting to the area Casework Services Manager, key responsibilities will include:
· Manage casework support, providing direct support, advice and guidance to beneficiaries,
· Assess beneficiaries’ needs and draw on support from the regional specialist team and other providers as necessary, ensuring that support is made available in an integrated way that best meets the beneficiaries’ needs
· Support the Casework Services Manager and Head of Welfare in better understanding the needs of the beneficiaries in your area to inform the commissioning of specialist services
· Advise beneficiaries of support which may be available to them and assist them in accessing this support as necessary
· Work in close collaboration with other providers of welfare support services within the local area, developing an understanding of each other’s services to facilitate appropriate referrals and support
· Develop effective working relationships with other Legion services within the area in question (e.g Specialist Service teams, Recovery team, Branch Community Support supporters, care homes, Remembrance.).
The role is primarily homebased and will have regular travel around the Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire area for meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training or meetings.
A valid UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this role. The successful applicant will require an Enhanced DBS check to be undertaken as part of the pre employment checks process.

Overall Purpose
The Influencing Project Manager will work as part of a flexible team to develop, lead and manage the stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications elements of the Volunteering for Health programme.
Volunteering for Health is a £10million learning programme focused on testing, building and growing healthcare volunteering infrastructure. The programme has invested in fifteen systems across England who are navigating complex health systems to ensure that volunteering is embedded as a system wide NHS asset.
The team is responsible for developing and delivering the ‘learning and support’ and the ‘influencing and communications’ elements of the national programme, in partnership with NHS England and CW .

Overall Objectives

About the Role

Role
The Programme Officer will manage day-to-day relationships with Degrees’ research groups based in the Latin America and Caribbean region, ensure smooth grant administration, and support regional events.

Grantees

Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic self-starter based in the UK, with experience in planning and running international events as well as academic workshops. As Community Project Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team overseeing the efficient day-to-day operation of our Pet Food Bank project and wider community-based initiatives. Working closely with the Community Project Lead, you will help deliver projects that improve the lives of people and pets, with dignity at the heart of everything we do. This includes supporting a national network of pet food banks and partners, increasing awareness of Blue Cross, and ensuring practical, compassionate support reaches pet owners in short term crisis.
More about the role
This is a home-based role within Oxfordshire, ideally located within one hour of our Burford offices, as you will be required to travel to Burford on a weekly basis to manage deliveries at our Warehouse. Due to the rural location and less frequent public transport, travelling by car is often the most practical option. While the role is home based, you will be contractually attached to the Burford site. Travel to Burford will therefore be treated as normal commuting and expenses will not be payable for travel to this site.
Working across a defined geographic region, you will support the development and smooth running of the Pet Food Bank project and other community initiatives. This will involve close collaboration with pet food banks, suppliers, local authorities, community groups and volunteers to ensure effective coordination, communication and logistics.
You will secure donations of pet food and services, oversee the movement of food and equipment, and regularly travel to food bank partners and other organisations. A key part of the role involves liaising with volunteers and colleagues by phone and in person, ensuring everyone is supported, informed and working together effectively.
Alongside core project delivery, you will support the planning, preparation and delivery of a large-scale summer event in June 2026, working in partnership with one of our corporate partners. This event will play an important role in expanding our outreach and support for pet owners in need. The Opportunity
As a key team member within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will play a vital role in creating, developing and delivering the Social Mobility Foundation’s Employer Programme and Social Mobility Employer Index - how we inform, influence and positively impact employer-led social mobility, and a source of income generation.
1. Delivery of the Social Mobility Employer Index
- Deliver the SMEI 2026, including but not limited to: marking entries, creating individual feedback reports for each entrant, creating sector reports for key industries, and gathering feedback to review and update the survey for 2027
- Maintain accurate and up to date information and process documentation, including the mark scheme used to mark entries, and the process followed to create feedback reports
- Support with the ongoing development of the digital platform, employer resources and online content, ensuring it is updated in line with the survey and delivers a smooth user journey
- Support with the annual monitoring and evaluation of the SMEI and its impact on employer-led social mobility
2. Stakeholder management and customer service
