As Registered Manager you will work with a range of professionals, parents and carers in the Derbyshire and East Midlands area to ensure that our children and young people who have a varying level of learning and physical disabilities are supported with a person-centred approach, helping them to develop to their full potential and through the next stage of their life journey.

As Registered Manager you will lead, inspire, and motivate your team to hold the highest aspirations for our children and young people and oversee the running of our 4 bedroom home liaising closely with Ofsted to ensure regulatory compliance and excellence. We will actively support you in your role and provide you and your team with specialist training, development, and supervision.

Some key responsibilities of your role as a Registered Manager will be;

• Establishing a new long stay children's home for children and young people with learning and physical disabilities including the recruitment and induction of a new staff team.
• Providing high quality supportive 1:1 and reflective supervision to direct reports.
• Promoting and delivering the highest standards of safeguarding practice utilising existing processes and best practice to create a safe positive work and service environment.
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships and maintain channels of communication with colleagues, community organisations, partner agencies and other external agencies.
• Developing and maintaining effective networks, relationships, partnerships, and contacts to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
• To work closely with Ofsted to ensure we are operating a home that is deemed to be offering each child high quality care through effective leadership and management.

Whilst a management qualification Level 5 would be great, we are open to those with experience in a management role within a residential/social care setting. 

• At least 2 years experience in the last 5 years of working in a position relevant to residential childcare and at least 1 years experience in a leadership role.
• Creating an inclusive service, in terms of meeting the needs of the children and establishing a workforce that further enables an inclusive environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the OFSTED requirements.
• Demonstrable experience of working with children with complex needs.
• Experience of leading by example with the application of safeguarding practices and policies.

Delphside Limited is entering an exciting phase of change, but is mindful of the challenges the mental health care and charity sector as a whole is facing.

To help mitigate this this, we are looking to enhance our Governance and control systems in terms of our financial and administration management.

The role is a temporary role (6-12 months) to help direct and support changes of financial systems, data control processes and to help ensure the current team, including our current Finance Manager, are supported with the implementation of a more up to date and effective way of working.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant, but equally we would welcome applications from individuals who are qualified by experience or accredited qualification (e.g. AAT Level 4, ACCA/ACA qualified etc.) It is essential you have proven experience of delivering strategic leadership in finance, preferably (but not essentially) in the charitable sector and that you can deliver changes of processes and systems.

Knowledge of Sage and also XERO systems would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities :

· Provide full review of current financial controls, identify and implement a new financial I.T./software system suited to service needs.

· Oversee the procurement, implementation and transition to the new financial I.T./software system once it is identified.

· The post holder will assist with the strategic planning and budget preparation for the organisation as well as maintaining the charity's financial accounting systems.

· To provide support to the Finance Manager by overseeing the preparation of the organisation’s accounts for audit in accordance with current accounting good practice and Charity Commission’s Standards of Recommended Practice (SORP)

· Lead, develop and support a small dedicated finance and administration team

· Long term financial planning and assisting the CEO with succession planning in the finance area of the service, including creation of a financial risk register.

· Assist in setting the annual budget and report on performance.

· Oversee timely production by the Finance manager of monthly management accounts and the annual statutory accounts.

· Ensure a robust financial control environment and ensure all treasury and Financial Governance management are in place, suitable and effective.

· The post holder will have responsibility to ensure the organisation is compliant with legal and financial duties associated with those of a Charitable Company reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Trustees.

· Provide proactive assessment of opportunities to deliver efficiencies in collaboration with department heads where necessary.

· Undertake internal audit of systems and processes in place to ensure good financial Governance.

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.

The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. Administration and Systems Manager

Location: initially remote working but to be hybrid based in W/NW/SW London.

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18.  We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.

About Help

Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.

This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client. 

The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.

About the job

The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.

Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20. 

We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.

Key responsibilities

Team management
Directing the team to make sure work is scheduled, fully completed and managed efficiently.

Line managing and coaching team members to achieve their objectives and develop their skills, confidence and abilities. 
Systems management.

Managing the impacts and interactions between processes and systems which can be complex and far reaching. 

Monitoring and ensuring all systems used are accurate and up to date, performing, interpreting and following up on system audits.  
Information review, reporting and continuous improvement.

Create, review and report on operational data and use this information to solve potential problems or strengthen business performance. 

Evaluate processes and policies, look for and make improvements as necessary. Ensure that processes and policies are easy to understand and up to date. 

Stakeholder management

Provide a point of escalation and decision-making for queries arising from clients, counsellors, supervisors, training organisations and other stakeholders.

Quality of service 

Ensure all queries and contacts are dealt with professionally, accurately and promptly. 

Manage all aspects of the administrative tasks and process required.

The Candidate

Education & experience: 5-6 years’ administrative, operations, customer service and supervisory experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.  

Skills:

· Ability to analyse information and develop practical solutions.
Planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and task and time management skills.

· Interpersonal, line management, coaching, and verbal and written communication skills.

· Technical expert on MS Office suite and hands-on experience of CRM and / or clinical management system.

· Knowledge / experience of JotForm (Powerforms or equivalent), Stripe and DocuSign will be advantageous.

Job Title – Registered Manager - West Midlands

Pay - £52,939 per annum + £750 Homeworking Allowance per annum + £1,500 Out of Hours Allowance per annum.

Bladder Health UK (BHUK) is a small national charity that has developed significantly over the last 10 years. We are now looking for a part-time charity manager who can continue this journey. The role gives a rare opportunity to someone who is enthusiastic to make a difference in this unique space and have a significant impact on both sufferers and healthcare professionals. As charity manager you will need a varied skillset including being able to build and nurture relationships, manage a small team of staff, develop new income streams, create, and develop imaginative projects and use innovative technology to boost the aims and objectives of the charity.

What you would do

Account management of existing and new relationships in the charity sector. • Research and write grant applications. • Support in making decisions and advise on the charity spend. • Work with the BHUK team to tell the story of ‘Bladder Health UK’ via its communication channels. • Support hosting and organising charity events. • Manage the general cashflow for the charity including reporting from a finance perspective. • Work on a multitude of projects throughout the year. • Outreach to relevant charities that the charity wants to work with and build long lasting, meaningful relationships with them. •. • Maintain all contracts, mailing lists, ensuring IT systems are kept up to date, and are compliant. • Manage ongoing governance of the charity, including developing and maintaining policy documents such as our grant making policy, conflict of interest processes, procedures and register, risk management policy and register. • Maintain charity commission register records. You will also be expected to be able to provide and present regular reports to the Trustees on the finance and operational activity of the charity.

To succeed in this post, it is essential that you have:

• Have been involved in charity campaign work previously.
• Have experience in charity operations and governance. 
• Have sales /marketing/fundraising experience.
• Be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Can demonstrate effective communication skills with ability to liaise with different audiences and be effective at developing long-lasting relationships.
• Evidence that you are highly organised and great with time management.
• Have experience developing social media, websites, and webinars to promote, inform and educate.

It would be desirable that you:

• Have either a clinical background or experience in urology issues.
• Are passionate about making a difference and are willing to understand how amazing our members, volunteers and supporters are.

Katherine Low Settlement is a charity that has been serving Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community since 1924. We are dedicated to building stronger communities and enable people to challenge and find ways out of poverty and isolation.

We run a range of our own community projects to tackle poverty and isolation, and empower and support children, young people and their families, older people, women and refugee communities. We campaign for social change. We also incubate and support local charities and social businesses to thrive, so together we can meet the diverse needs of the local communities of Wandsworth. Each week we work with 28+ charities supporting more than 1,000 people.

Katherine Low Settlement’s work with older people

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.

We work with older people to:

• Encourage active and independent living

• Reduce isolation and loneliness

• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health

• Enable older residents to be dynamic and contributing members of the Wandsworth community.

Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:

1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
2. Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a hands-on program that builds on older people's strengths and potential.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Head of Programme.
5. Budget Management: Ensure the program operates within budget constraints.
6. Member Engagement: Support the planning of the core program with input from elder members and the wider team.
7. Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support new and existing members (service users).

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Delivery

• Planning and Oversight: Ensure that all service output aligns with KLS' vision, mission, values, and charitable objectives. Organize and promote one-off activities throughout the year.
• Transport Management: Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate activity records, registers, and casework notes for the core team.
• Outreach and Support: Conduct outreach work with older people in the community, oversee home visits, and manage a small caseload.

2. Staff and Volunteer Management

• Recruitment and Line Management: Recruit and manage the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook, and relevant social activities workers and volunteers.
• Performance Management: Use performance management and quality systems to monitor and evaluate the project's work and processes.

3. Relationships, Communication, and Networks

• Member Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with elder members.
• Communication: Oversee communication for the Core Programme, including newsletters, activities calendar, annual reports, and social media platforms.
• Meetings: Attend meetings on behalf of the Core Programme as required.

4. Finance

• Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.

5. Other Duties

• Professional Development: Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal. Identify job-related development and training needs.
• Professional Conduct: Professionally undertake roles, maintaining a high-quality standard of work in line with KLS's aims, values, and ethos.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams. 

If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you. We are also open to making the role part time (80%) for the right candidate.

This important role will represent FareShare Sussex & Surrey engaging with corporate partners and key stakeholders such as council leaders, politicians and dignitaries across the region. 

Using your experience in engagement and relationship management you will work to consolidate existing partnerships and seek new opportunities across Sussex & Surrey, working to build strong relationships locally and encourage partnership, donations, sponsorships and corporate volunteering. The development team has an ambitious target of £1 million to raise, through various streams including corporate partnerships, individual giving, trust applications and other fundraising activities each year. The role will manage the corporate income stream and requires collaboration with all income generation to ensure effective management and stewardship of all partners.

You will develop an exciting donor journey which engages and encourages support from businesses and key stakeholders. Working with high-value supporters to maintain a good relationship with the organisation and fostering new partnerships. 

You will also work alongside our food Supply Manager to help provide a holistic partnership with our suppliers, encouraging them to support our work across the ESG / CSR spectrum.

• Act as main point of contact for existing corporate partners and stakeholders

• Build strong relationships through a stewardship programme to engage with partners in a variety of ways on a regular basis

New Business

• Provide regular reporting for trustees and the Development Team
