Purpose of the job 

 In UK Youth’s Impact department, we find, create and use evidence to respond to the needs and preferences of young people and the professionals who support them.  Reporting to the Evaluation & Learning Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a portfolio of research and evaluation projects. This will involve conducting research in-house and coordinating with external partners and the organisations we fund to build and share high-quality evidence. There will be opportunities to lead on fieldwork, data analysis, reporting and insight sharing with strategic guidance and hands-on support from other members of the team.

You will support high profile research and evaluation projects, including the evaluation of the Adventures Away From Home Fund – a major, Government-funded outdoor learning programme. The main purpose of this role is to provide high-quality support and interventions to clients with mental health needs who require early intervention and prevention. The postholder will support clients throughout their time in the service, empowering them with the skills to cope independently, while working in line with organisational values, the ethos of recovery, and principles of co-production. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, delivering group activities and programmes, and clearly communicating the aims, objectives, pathways, and service model to enable clients to fully participate in and co-produce their support. Accurate and timely administration, referrals, assessments, and service reviews are required, alongside participation in supervision, appraisals, training, and team development activities. You will be required to work between 5:00pm – 10:00pm on weekdays and 2:00pm – 10:00pm on weekends. Hours are scheduled on a rolling rota, which includes weekends and bank holidays.

About the role

We are looking for someone who enjoys leading campaigns and working with people. As our Senior Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser, you will:

· Manage a range of Individual Giving campaigns from start to finish, making sure they run smoothly and meet targets.

· Work with teams across Scope to create inspiring supporter journeys and maximise the value of every supporter.

· Develop new fundraising products and ideas to reach new and existing audiences.

· Make sure all campaigns are on budget, on brand, and follow all rules.

· Use data and insight to improve campaigns and share results with the team.

· Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

· Keep up to date with trends in fundraising and bring new ideas to the team.

· Support the team with digital communications and welcome programmes for new supporters.

· Ensure all supporter data is handled safely and follows GDPR.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

· Hands-on experience across key direct marketing channels such as digital (Lead Generation, Meta, Search, Display), telemarketing, face-to-face, and email.

· A strong understanding of regular giving, lottery and cash recruitment and how to optimise their performance.

· Confidence managing budgets and reporting to ensure campaigns deliver against targets.

· Experience collaborating with agencies and internal teams to create, deliver and evaluate integrated campaigns.

· A data-driven approach- using insight to shape creative, audience targeting and optimisation.

· Excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of fundraising regulation and data protection, ensuring activity is ethical, compliant and supporter-centred.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker for a fixed term period of up to 12 months, on a full time basis (35 hours per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Essex Care Team.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Essex Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

This is a rare chance to contribute foundational insight to a charity entering its national scaling phase.

The Well Centre Charity exists to ensure every young person has access to health support that is holistic, youth friendly and free from barriers. Our model brings together GPs, Health and Wellbeing Practitioners and mental health practitioners to deliver integrated care in a way young people value.

About the Role

As Research Fellow, you will lead research and evaluation for the Maudsley programme and contribute to the wider evidence and insight function of WCC. You will use both qualitative and quantitative methods, support digital innovation with KCL, and help ensure that young people’s experiences, outcomes and priorities shape service development.

Your work will inform commissioners, clinicians and system partners working to reduce health inequalities and strengthen support for adolescents across South London and beyond.

What You’ll Do

You will:

• Design and deliver research and evaluation that tracks the rollout of new Well Centre–style services

• Use mixed methods to understand how services improve young people’s outcomes and experiences

• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable recommendations

• Work closely with the CAMHS Digital Lab to support digital innovation and data capture

• Contribute to co production and engagement with young people and community voices

About You

Essential Criteria

• Postgraduate degree (e.g., MSc) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, social sciences or related discipline

• Experience setting up or supporting research studies, ideally in adolescent or population health

• Ability to translate complex findings into accessible insights for diverse audiences

• Strong literature synthesis and critical appraisal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams

• Knowledge of ethical research practice and GDPR compliance

• Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders

• Experience of qualitative research with young people

Desirable

• PhD (completed or near submission) in a relevant field

• Experience in adolescent health, youth development, primary care or CAMHS

• Familiarity with NHS datasets and publicly available health and mapping data

• Understanding of SNOMED, Read Codes or clinical phenotyping systems

• Experience with ethical approval and information governance processes
