Community Engagement Coordinator – North Region, England
Location: This post is home-based, working within BookTrust’s Northern England region, which covers the North West, North East, and Yorkshire & the Humber. The role requires flexibility and travel across the region and to other BookTrust offices in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Our England Partnerships Team supports our wide range of partners in a place-based way, working in and with local communities and the children and families most in need of support.
As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will work within the regional partnerships team. You will manage a caseload of community work to support programme delivery, partnership network development and bespoke learning and development with the BookTrust partner network. You will create excellent links into communities and develop relationships with stakeholders in order to support BookTrust delivery and development, and place-based, community-led initiatives.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic, credible ambassador with a demonstrable ability to make connections across a wide range of people and groups in order to deliver ambitious projects. You will have great communications skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of audiences, in writing and in person. You may have worked within or across a local authority provider or network, in outreach or in a project within a local community or the third sector. You may have experience working with children and families experiencing deprivation, or in children’s reading. You will be highly motivated with the ability to work unsupervised across multiple projects in disparate locations simultaneously, and to work at pace, often to tight deadlines.
Location: Home-based in the UK, within 90 minutes travel of Central London, with occasional national and international travel.
Contract: 2 years with the possibility of extension dependent on continuation of funding. You should be available to start by mid-January 2026.
Reporting to: Executive Director (ED)
Salary: £85,000 - £90,000

The Director of Operations and Finance is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for ensuring WeProtect Global Alliance has robust and highly effective financial management, operational, governance, and risk infrastructure. The Director will provide strategic financial leadership, act as the primary resource for the Board on governance matters and oversee corporate compliance to enable the impactful delivery of the organisation's strategy to protect children from sexual exploitation and abuse online.

Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance

Corporate Governance: Ensure Alliance governance is efficient, effective and provides the necessary support and oversight to the team to enable delivery of our mission, leading on review and optimisation of our governance structures and management. Act as a key advisor to the Executive Director and Board on all aspects of governance, legal compliance, and statutory obligations (including Dutch Chamber of Commerce and UK Companies House requirements).

Risk Management: Senior responsible owner of the strategic risk register and proactively monitor and escalate strategic risks, reporting on high-level mitigation strategies to the Board and Finance, Risk and Audit Committee. The Resource Futures Education Team has worked over the past 17 years in developing and delivering high quality Education for Sustainable Development programmes, specialising in waste issues.
Your role will be part of the education team in Devon who enable schools and young people to develop more sustainable practices and lifestyles, specifically within the areas of waste reduction, reuse, recycling and composting.
Our ideal candidate will live in or around the East Devon / Exeter / Teignbridge area, where the majority of delivery will take place, with some home working. For the successful candidate, there may be an opportunity to expand the number of hours you deliver on a short-term basis, dependent on funding opportunities.
What you will be doing
· Develop and deliver high quality education programmes in schools on the 3Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle - and composting, to include:
o Leading workshops, assemblies and waste audits.
o Advising school staff (including senior staff, cleaners, caretakers, kitchen staff and other non-teaching staff) on educational and practical waste issues.
o Support or lead school visits to waste management facilities such as recycling centres and energy from waste (EfW) plants.
· Recruit schools to the programme and ensure bookings, administration and preparation are undertaken to a high standard.

We seek a Finance Officer to join our small team. You will report to the Head of Finance to provide bookkeeping and accounting support for Global Dialogue and Global Dialogue Ventures Limited. You will use Xero and be responsible for many aspects of operational finance including maintaining accurate records in the organisation’s purchase and sales ledgers; processing accounts payable and receivable; bank and other reconciliations; supporting month, quarter and year-end closes; and resolving ad hoc queries.

Remuneration This role has been benchmarked at a UK salary of £33,000 (pro rata for a part time position). About The Role
As a SQL Insight Analyst, you will be at the heart of our charity’s ambition to drive our decision making through evidence and data backed insights. - Experience working remotely and making impactful relationships online.
- Be able to communicate effectively with senior corporate leaders.
- Experience in providing excellent stakeholder engagement, ideally through an integrated CRM.
- A natural networker and innovator, you’ll always be spotting opportunities.
- Excellent general IT skills and knowledge of new platforms to enable efficiency (Trello, Slack, HubSpot, Xero).
- Passionate about the environment and the importance of data.
- A commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.

- A clean, full driving license is preferred.
