As the Payroll Specialist within our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless administration of employee salaries through Resource Link, our computerized payroll system. Your duties include meticulously collating and inputting pertinent information for the monthly payroll cycle, encompassing tasks such as processing new hires, managing contract changes, administering sickness absence payments, calculating maternity and paternity pay, handling Court Orders, GAYE, Union deductions, Childcare Voucher schemes, and ensuring accurate payment of Pension contributions and Company loans. This role will contribute to the achievement of the “Forest for the Future” and CAR programmes objectives by monitoring project implementation against objectives, providing comprehensive support to the L&L team, and directly supporting partner NGOs involved in the projects.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of and/or interest in forest governance and human rights, particularly in Central Africa. About the role
The London Library is looking for an Acquisitions and Discovery Assistant to assist in the acquisition and management of Library E-resources and print resources.
The role includes supporting the successful acquisition and seamless delivery of electronic resources to library users, utilising and maintaining relevant library systems and records; assisting purchasing decisions and supporting licensing, ordering and payment processes; verifying access, liaising with suppliers & Library IT, and ensuring correct metadata is presented to users; plus monitoring resource use and collecting data for the evaluation of subscriptions. The role
This role sits in our people team, supporting the charity by providing a professional, comprehensive and proactive recruitment service. To work closely with the HR advisors, the HR coordinator and as necessary, the HR and organisational development manager, to support recruitment and selection-based projects.
As the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries from recruiting managers and candidates, you’ll be responsible for uploading vacancies and supporting information onto our online advertising platforms and manage recruitment activity as a key user of our recruitment applicant tracking system (ATS). You’ll also ensure all our recruitment and selection literature, including adverts and job descriptions are correctly branded and formatted.
You’ll actively support and provide guidance to recruiting managers at the beginning and during all the stages of the recruitment process, along with offering a face to face service to build key stakeholder relationships across the charity. You’ll also be required, when necessary to actively represent the people team at interviews.
You’ll also be responsible for managing the recruitment inbox and supporting recruiting managers and the HR advisors from coordinating interviews to creating a range of quarterly recruitment reports.

Role purpose and main responsibilities
