Advice Service Delivery Manager
The newly created Advice & Support Team plays a key role in delivering Battersea’s increased strategic focus on early intervention in the pet ownership journey. By offering well-timed expert and empathetic support and advice before owners reach crisis point, the team aims to prevent avoidable animal welfare issues and reduce the number of pets relinquished for preventable reasons.
A key service in this area is the Behaviour Advice Line (BAL), currently delivered by our Animal Behaviour Team. This new role exists to lead the development of a clear, evidence-based service model and plan to transform the line into a cost-effective multi-channel service that delivers measurably improved impact for owners and their pets.
The role is for one year with the outcome to develop a detailed service model and associated change plan and budget, that is evidence based, co-designed and in alignment with the future Advice and Support strategy and Operations structure. Iterative changes should be identified for service improvement within the year and a business case for investment produced by the end of July 2026.

The AI Opportunity Fund:
The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic and detail-oriented Senior Programme Manager to oversee the ongoing delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This exciting role focuses on managing the implementation, budget and contractual aspects as well as lessons learned of the programme, ensuring its success in meeting our ambitious targets to equip underserved communities with essential AI and digital skills.

Westway Trust are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children Services Manager with a track record of managing a Good or Outstanding Oftsed rated Early Years’ service, who will be committed to supporting and enhancing the lives of children in the North Kensington community.
This role is key to positioning the Trust as a provider of affordable, vital and culturally appropriate services. Reporting to the Senior Manager Learning, you will lead and manage on all aspects of the Trust’s nursery and crèche services, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements are met. You will manage a team of full and part-time staff and will build strong partnerships with families and the local community. You will be a confident communicator working closely with statutory regulators, commissioners, partners and stakeholders.

- Manage the staff team to deliver the Nursery and Crèche services.

The Operations Manager is a key role within the team, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the SLG’s three sites: the Main Gallery, the Fire Station and Art Block. This includes managing the maintenance and upkeep of the SLG’s Grade II listed buildings and artist-designed gardens, as well as leading the Front of House team to ensure that the SLG provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and a high quality of visitor experience.
The Operations Manager works closely with the Deputy Director and manages a team comprising two Operations Supervisors, the Gallery Technician and contracted and casual Front of House staff and Cleaners. The role takes the lead on the implementation and monitoring of the SLG’s environment and sustainability policy and contributes to organisation-wide work towards the SLG’s equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.
The post holder will be required to be an appointed first aider and a fire marshal, as well as a primary keyholder. They may, therefore, be called upon for out of hours emergencies. Appropriate training will be given.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in Central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. Your role

The role
The ECRN Training and Development Manager will work closely with the Head of ECRN and the ECRN Training and Development Officer to deliver the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network (ECRN) and Wellcome Leadership and Advancement SHAPE Programme. You will be responsible for line managing a Training and Development Officer. You will also need to coordinate logistics and delivery across virtual and regional formats for the Leadership and Advancement SHAPE programme.
The T&D Manager will support the continuous improvement of operational systems and working practices and liaise with training facilitators, regional partners, and other external providers and internal colleagues across the Academy to ensure alignment and impact.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring extensive experience in training programme management, budget oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and team leadership in an office or organisational setting. Strategic planning, resilience, and effective problem-solving are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
We are looking for an excellent communicator, skilled at fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and committed to inclusive, responsive working. A thoughtful and proactive approach will be key to success in this role.
Please note that the position involves travel between ECRN regional locations to support in-person delivery, alongside regular online engagement.
