You will play an important role in the continued growth and evolution of the organisation. You will work closely with the Projects Team and lead on planning, selling and delivery. You will communicate the development of any new projects whilst overseeing the pre-existing engagements and work closely with our touring agents at Askonas Holt. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of our dynamic team of management staff you will play a vital role in the organisation.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

Your responsibilities will be:

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates

· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan

· Producing and negotiating contracts to engagements (conductors, soloists, with venues/festivals, tours, commercial engagements etc.)

· Contributing to a supportive and collegiate culture within the Chineke! Foundation

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Editorial Manager to join the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of women's healthcare by ensuring the development of high-quality, accessible information for women, partners, relatives and carers. • copyedit and proofread successive drafts of patient information to ensure they accurate and easy to understand
• prepare accompanying audio versions of the patient information written information and visual resources as appropriate
• contribute to improving RCOG patient information.

The Team

The Guidance Team is part of the Clinical Quality (CQ) team in the RCOG Education and Clinical Quality directorate. Clinical Quality is responsible for a range of outputs, products and services that champion and facilitate the safe care of women, girls and their babies across the UK, via quality improvement and clinical audit activities informed by evidence-based practice.

We deliver the activities above through three workstream areas.

• Guidance and patient information – commissioning, development and production of RCOG guidance and patient information.
• CQ Projects – managing and supporting the portfolio of externally-funded projects in research, quality improvement and audit in the College.
• CQ Operations – the CQ Operations Team provide operational support and governance to ensure CQ runs effectively as well as planning and executing the strategy to develop CQ and ensure its sustainability.

The work of the Clinical Quality team is overseen and directed by the Clinical Quality Board and Clinical Quality Assurance Group committees and also informed by the Academic Board.

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Participant Experience Manager to join on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) as part of a job share. This is a fixed-term contract until the end of October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful Events team, co-leading our 7-person Participant Experience team. Working closely with the other Senior Participant Experience Manager, you’ll be jointly responsible for identifying and delivering strategic projects and multi-channel supporter journeys to improve the supporter experience for all events participants, resulting in maximised income, retention and lifetime value.

You and your team will work across the Events team, adding value to our participants’ experience across our full range of products, from sign up to thanking and beyond. You’ll lead the team to drive cross product testing, learning and innovation. You will also maximise the impact of our communications across multiple channels, such as telephone, email, post, SMS, whilst pushing efficiencies by streamlining processes and ways of working across teams.

Working as part of the Events Management team you will contribute to the strategy and direction of the wider Events team.

The Opportunity:   

The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) role will be well-suited to someone who is focused on the best ways they can help the aims of the charity as well as those of our participants and partners. An APPC is responsible for supporting the delivery and development of the Social Mobility Foundation’s programme of activities for young people through their S5-6/sixth form and university years.   
The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Project Delivery 

• Deliver key projects including recruiting and onboarding students, creating digital resources and student events  
• Support with programme pilots, scoping (and delivering on) new activity   
• Collaborate and build relationships with our employer partners, schools, and universities to support our young people in their applications for university, internships and graduate roles  

 2. Monitoring and Evaluation  

• Maintain accurate records across relevant databases, updating data accurately and in a timely manner  
• Contribute to evaluation for key work areas (residentials, events, internships etc), produce high quality evaluation reports where required.

3. Stakeholder Management

• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner  
• Proactively update external partners (i.e. employers) on your work areas, flagging risks in a timely manner with relationship managers  
• Manage internal student queries and maintain consistent stakeholder (e.g. students) processes through regular communication  

4. Activity Delivery  

• Coordinate planning and delivery of skills sessions, partner events, university visits, and other activities, both virtually and in person across the Social Mobility Foundation’s target cities across the UK

Ways of working:

• Most of our work is office based, but you will spend a lot of time collaborating with other teams and clients via email, telephone and other communications channels such as Teams or Zoom.  
• This role requires you to staff residentials for students on our Programme. This means that during the summer period (Jul – Aug) you will be expected to stay overnight on-site (in the UK - exact location to be confirmed closer to the time) for a period of up to two-weeks, help run the residential and be responsible for the welfare of the young people involved.

Travel:

• Please note this role will require some travel to our Newcastle office during our peak delivery period (February-May) which could be up to 4 times per month. 

• Travel and accommodation if required will be covered by the SMF. 

• TOIL will be given for any work that is completed outside of usual working hours.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  Our work now includes specific programming for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians and those who have come through the asylum system

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Partnerships Manager to oversee the operational and partnership work of STEP which includes infrastructure and process, data and reporting as well as partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operational responsibility for UK Programmes ensuring processes are in place for a smooth running and high-quality programme. 
• Overseeing allocation of clients to the programme and their Employment Advisor 
• Managing the CRM data cleaning and reporting process and producing monthly and quarterly reporting data from the CRM
• Using advanced Excel skills to analyse results, identify trends and learnings to use data to drive changes and improve the quality of programmes.
• Managing the administration of the programme, including tech and client accessibility and excellent customer service 
• Managing external relationships with the support of UK Programmes team to deliver the programme.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Demonstrable experience of managing direct delivery Programme operations.
• Knowledge of refugee and/or livelihoods programme is desirable
• Demonstrable experience of line managing a team of people
• A high level of financial literacy to manage and report against programme budgets.
