Role Requirements

To lead in the pharmacy service in the absence of the Principal Pharmacist to ensure services are of the highest standards of quality, are evidence based and meet the needs of the children. Manage, co-ordinate and provide day-to-day clinical pharmacy services to The Children’s Trust, supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines across the site and ensure medication is procured in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

• To utilise evidence-based approaches to strengthen attachments and rebuilt relationships with the non-abusive parent that have been fractured as a result of domestic abuse
• To utilise trauma informed ways of working to reduce trauma symptoms and distress in children

• To assist the non-abusive parent / carer in their understanding of the impact of domestic abuse so that they can respond appropriately to the emotional needs of the children

• To ensure that children and families receive holistic support that is appropriate to their needs, including advocacy and referring to other services

• To understand risk and safeguarding issues and act appropriately in relation to risk at all times.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.

Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.

You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.

This role is about;

• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);

• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;

• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead a large staff team across London to achieve and exceed programme performance targets and operational standards.

· Oversee core services including IPS in Primary Care, IPS in SMI and Employment Advisors in Talking Therapies, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

· Line management of currently 4 Service Leads.

· Champion a person-centered, outcomes-focused culture of excellence and innovation.

· Ensure services meet quality assurance standards including high IPS fidelity.

· Monitor and evaluate team/individual performance, taking action to address issues.

· Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with commissioners, health providers, employers.

· Contribute to the delivery of Twining and Hestia’s strategic plans, by working in partnership with other departments and directorates, external organisations, and commissioners.

What you’ll be doing? 

The Women’s Gambling Link Worker will deliver an awareness-raising and personalised, holistic support programme for women in Lambeth experiencing gambling and gambling addiction-related harm, or those impacted by the gambling of a close family member. You will:

• Deliver an outreach programme by regularly attending community events, visiting local groups/ spaces and organisations frequented by women in Lambeth.

• Develop partnerships and deliver outreach support to primary and secondary care partners and services across Lambeth.

• Speak with women's groups in Lambeth, either 1-2-1 or presenting to groups, to discuss the type of support available and promote the work and support of the Primary Care Gambling Service and Age UK Lambeth services. 

• Provide holistic support to patients referred to the Primary Care Gambling Service, helping to address housing, debt, bereavement, loneliness, mental health and other related social issues, that are both a symptom and/or a cause of their gambling.

• Meet clients on a one-to-one basis, making home visits where appropriate and allowing clients the time and space to discuss ‘what matters to me’.

Job Title: Project Officer

Position Type: Paid/Full time

Reports to: Programme Manager

Based at: School Food Matters, The Bridge, 7b Parkshot, London TW9 2RD

Working Hours: 5 days a week, 9am-5pm (some flexibility required to attend breakfast and after school clubs) 

Salary: £31,138 FTE

Holiday: 31 days including bank holidays that fall on working days. Holidays must be taken during school holidays

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Healthy Zones programme

Healthy Zones supports primary, secondary and special schools to create a food environment that puts young people's health centre stage. We are working with schools to develop food policies and to improve the food served in their breakfast and after school clubs. The programme uses a whole school approach through hands-on engagement with students, staff, kitchen teams, governors and parents.

Job Purpose

· To promote, develop and deliver the Healthy Zones programme across schools in Southwark and Lambeth

· Support with the expansion of the Healthy Zones programme across other regions in England

Key Tasks include:

•  Recruit schools to take part in Healthy Zones
• Complete food audits in schools looking across the whole school day (training provided)
• Develop and deliver healthy after school club and breakfast club modules (convene working groups in schools, run simple food preparation engagement sessions (training provided), empower student voice, build relationships with the after-school club staff)
• Develop food policy improvements in schools in our six key areas by building relationships with staff, and engaging students, parents and governors
• Build relationships and work closely / maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants, cooks and senior leaders in primary and secondary schools in Lambeth and Southwark to improve the food they offer their students
• Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations/LAs, and deliver training where necessary
• Collecting data and maintaining accurate records relating to the programme in Airtable
• Work closely with our Evaluation Manager to complete all monitoring and evaluation
• Gather content for our website and social media platforms
• Keep Programme Manager fully updated on progress

• Keeping up to date with safeguarding requirements and reporting procedures

• Contribute to the smooth-running of SFM at this time of growth
