What you’ll be doing:
- Line manage a team to ensure they achieve their objectives and fundraising targets

- Identify opportunities to raise awareness of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity including giving talks and presentations, attending local events and networking events
- Monitor income monthly and contribute to budgeting and reforecasting. Identify areas of concern and where there might be potential for growth
- Work with other teams within the Charity, including Finance, Data, PR, Marketing and other fundraising teams to maximise best practice and supporter experience

· Proactive and self-sufficient, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative

The focus of the Senior Fundraising Manager role will be to deliver and run the successful fundraising appeals and draws function, delivering against targets of c. £1.25m for 2025/26. Managing a small appeals team within the wider membership function, you will grow our income and innovation in this space, ensuring fundraising best practice principles are adhered to.
Our ideal candidate will be results driven, with an open, curious, intelligent approach to analysis and reporting. You will be able to work successfully in partnership with other teams and departments as well as influence key stakeholders across the organisation. You will be able to lead and develop a small team, exercise diplomacy and discretion and contribute to the wider fundraising conversation and pipeline.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Substantial professional experience of the project management of appeals and campaigns fundraising gained within a charity or other fundraising organisation including their planning, development, running and evaluation
- Experience of running fundraising appeals or campaigns across a range of channels and running lotteries or draws for fundraising
- Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications for different audiences and media whilst maintaining consistent tone and messaging
- A track record in setting and meeting income targets
- Excellent project management skills, with evidence of having successfully delivered concurrent projects
An understanding and knowledge of the art forms is not essential but the ability to learn and communicate effectively and persuasively about opera, ballet, music and dance to supporters is critical for this role.

About the Role
The Director of Finance, Data and Systems leads the delivery of high‑quality financial stewardship and strategy, providing expert oversight of finance, data and systems across all Sadler’s Wells venues to support organisational performance and decision‑making.
Working as part of Sadler’s Wells’ senior leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Co-Chief Executives and the Board, ensuring robust organisational financial planning, risk management, and ensuring resources are effectively aligned to deliver impact for audiences and wider stakeholders.
Key duties will include:
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Co-Chief Executives, trustees and other key stakeholders on all financial matters.
- Prepare and present financial updates to SLT, the Boards of trustees and relevant sub-committees.
- Lead the Finance and Data & Systems teams (3 direct reports and a wider team of 18)
- Advise the Board with clear, insightful financial reporting and recommendations.
- Lead the finance and accounting strategy to optimise the organisation’s financial performance
- Strategic oversight of Data and Systems department, ensuring the operational infrastructure is fit for purpose, and seeking to optimise the use of data to support improvements across the organisation.
- Lead the financial management plan, including setting and management of budgets, and provision of robust and relevant financial and management information to senior management, trustees and committees, and all budget holders within the organisation.
- Provide financial vision and forward financial planning and identify risk and maintain oversight of relevant mitigation measures.
- Ensure accurate and timely year-end accounts and audit processes, in line with Charity Commission requirements and applicable accounting standards (e.g. SORP).
- Responsible for the governance of the three corporate charities, subsidiary company and board subcommittees through maintenance and development of a risk management framework, financial systems and internal controls.
About You
You will be a CCAB qualified (or equivalent) accountant, with experience operating at Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer level or within an equivalent senior finance leadership role. Applicants seeking a step up are encouraged to apply but must strongly demonstrate relevant prior experience of leading finance teams operationally and strategically.
You will have experience of reporting into Boards and sub-committees with the ability to translate and present complex financial data to non-finance audiences.

In recent years OTR has seen a significant increase in demand for our youth mental health services and we now reach over 17,000 young people each year. We are seeking a Head of Finance to oversee our (circa) £3m annual budget and to ensure that our finance operation is efficient and effective. This role will lead OTR’s finance function and, as well as having responsibility for day-to-day financial processes, will be a key member of the organisation’s senior leadership team (SLT). About the role
Over the last two consecutive financial years, we have raised approximately £1 million each year – primarily through trusts and foundations, corporate donors, and individual supporters. As the successful candidate, you and the team you lead will play a pivotal role in maintaining this level of fundraising success, ensuring our vital work with young people continues to flourish. This role will involve:
- Reviewing and evaluating our funder qualification processes to ensure donors align with our values and meet our ethical standards.
- Ensuring that detailed research on prospective funding opportunities, including trusts, foundations, corporate partners, HNWIs, are carried out and that plans for making approaches are developed and carefully implemented.
- Initiating, nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective funders and donors.
- Working together with the Senior Leadership to develop and periodically review Khulisa's 3-year fundraising strategy, taking ownership of key elements and processes, and periodically developing and testing new fundraising approaches.

What we're looking for

- Extensive fundraising and grant management experience working on large bids (£100K plus).

- Strong knowledge of CRM database, preferably Salesforce, in managing funder/donor relationships and fundraising activities.

Overview
FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, whilst working proactively with other professionals, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.
FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.
This role may include evening and weekend work when required. It is fixed term until October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies and group work.
- Plan, recruit and deliver group work interventions for children and young people alongside colleagues.
- Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
- Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk.
- Proactively engage with children and young people affected by DA/SV by providing therapeutic sessions tailed to their needs in where they are in their recovery journey.
- Risk assess and follow FearFree safety procedures to ensure personal safety and that of service users and other staff at all times.
- Actively support carers and parents in how to support their CYP affected by trauma. This may include working together to ensure the child is support at every stage in their recovery journey.
- Respond to emergencies and crises with a focus on the child’s wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Provide child-centred, trauma responsive support to all your cases taking in considering different learning needs, to empower the young person to make informed choices.
- Enable service users to participate in the design, delivery and evaluation of services.
- Keeping the child’s voice central to all support and decision making wherever possible: taking the time to talk through and work with the individual child’s understanding around safeguarding and why we need to share certain things.
- Act as duty officer, responding to incoming calls, logging referrals and making assigned outgoing calls, according to the duty rota.
- Work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
- Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.

Main purpose of the role
The Community Leader is responsible for ensuring that the Community is living the mission of L’Arche, by providing excellent and sustainable care and support services, support for spirituality, and engaging with our neighbours and the wider community around us.
The Community Leader will:
- Lead the Community by responding to the needs, choices and context of our members while being faithful to the L'Arche UK Vision and Values, the L'Arche International Identity and Mission Statement, and to a co-created Community Mandate and plan;
- Maintain and enhance high-quality, person-centred care, support, and housing for people with learning disabilities, both at home and in our day services in partnership with the Registered Manager, the local and national teams, individual circles of support, and external partners.
- Ensure the Community’s financial sustainability through robust financial planning and management. This includes setting budgets and controlling spending, maximising housing occupancy, supporting the negotiation of care contracts, growing our day services and spotting fundraising opportunities.
- Foster a culture that maximises the voice and power for people with learning disabilities, and builds listening and collaboration between Community members. This will include working with an active Community Support Group, Community Gatherings, listening groups, and other forums.
- Lead and manage a committed and engaged leadership team to achieve objectives, set a positive culture, and support the personal and professional growth of our teams.

The National House Project (NHP) works with care-experienced young people, encouraging them to take ownership of their futures and supporting them to live connected, fulfilling lives. The approach was co-designed with young people from the outset and is centred around a group work approach. It supports young people to move into properties that become their homes, while also building strong and supportive friendship networks.
NHP supports Local Authorities to establish Local House Projects (LHPs) and to place young people at the centre of decision-making. Once an LHP is established, NHP supports staff to work with young people in inclusive ways, encouraging them to develop solutions to the challenges they face. LHPs enable young people to leave care in a planned and supported way, improve outcomes, and help staff develop relationship-based and psychologically informed ways of working.
To ensure young people are involved at every level of the organisation, each LHP elects two young people to represent them in the Care Leavers National Movement (CLNM). This forum provides a platform to hear, amplify, and act on young people’s voices. Members contribute not only to the development of their own LHP, but also to practice and policy at a national level. CLNM meets regularly, undertakes peer evaluations, hosts and delivers an annual national conference, and provides “expert user” consultancy. Members of this group also sit on the Board of Trustees as expert advisors.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, experienced in working with young people, and excited about supporting them to have their voices heard and acted upon.
Many people enter youth work or social work wanting to make a difference, but find that large organisational systems can limit their impact. At NHP, you will be able to use your energy and enthusiasm creatively, enabling young people to use their care experience to positively influence the systems that support them. You will work with CLNM and the core NHP team to ensure young people continue to drive our work at both local and national levels.
You will need a professional or academic qualification in a related field (e.g. Youth Work, Social Work, Education, or Health). Current registration with a professional body is desirable. We actively encourage applications from care-experienced individuals and will guarantee an interview where the essential criteria are met.
The NHP office is based in Crewe. We support hybrid working and currently spend a minimum of two days per week in the office. This Participation Worker role will support LHPs in the West Midlands. You will be expected to travel regularly to LHPs and attend meetings across the country. Some planned weekend work will be required throughout the year.
