Professional Development and Knowledge Lead
Permanent

34.5 hours
Location – Home-based 
Salary Range £39K to £44K

About the role

To provide a national professional development and knowledge offer across the UK, to enable consistency in the offer delivered to our Macmillan Professionals, and wider workforce, in line with overall UK wide corporate strategy. 

About you
As someone who has a sound understanding of the NHS and specifically cancer care pathways you’ll be busy delivering clinical and non-clinical learning virtual classrooms and developing interactive digital content for our Learning and Communication Hub, that meet the changing needs of the cancer workforce and people living with and affected by cancer. Working collaboratively is the key to success in this role and a key competence we look for in our people working closely with Macmillan’s teams.

Key skills/experience required in this role in this role

  • Experience of design, development, quality assurance, and evaluation of clinical and non- clinical learning interventions
  • Delivered training to all levels of healthcare professionals and corporate audiences
  • Programme management and evaluation of development initiatives
  • Experience of working in a health setting, NHS, or health charity
