The International Fund for Animal Welfare is a global non-profit helping animals and people thrive together. We are experts and everyday people, working across seas, oceans, and in more than 40 countries around the world. We rescue, rehabilitate and release animals, and we restore and protect their natural habitats. The problems we’re up against are urgent and complicated. To solve them, we match fresh thinking with bold action. We partner with local communities, governments, non-governmental organisations and businesses. Together, we pioneer new and innovative ways to help all species flourish.
We’ve been around for fifty years, but we know our solutions can’t stay the same. We have to be nimble, curious, and open to new partners. In short, we have to think, and act, differently.
Across six continents and the ocean, we have rescued more than 200,000 animals. That’s just a fraction of the number of animals living in distress, to be sure. But when we measure our progress, we find cause for hope.

Citizens UK
Citizens UK is a people power alliance of diverse local communities working together for the common good. Our mission is to develop leaders, strengthen civic organisations and make change. Our 550 member communities are deeply rooted in their local areas and connect every day to the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Through the method of community organising we enable people experiencing powerlessness to develop their leadership and come together with the power and strategy to make change.
This leads to hundreds of neighbourhood improvements - from zebra crossings outside primary schools to renovated public toilets in cemeteries. And it leads to some of the biggest campaign impacts in the UK, such as winning over £2 billion of wages through the UK Living Wage campaign, securing a legal cap on the cost of credit to control exploitative lending, and ending the detention of children for immigration purposes. We enable local campaigns to grow into large-scale social change projects such as the Living Wage Foundation, Parents and Communities Together (PACT), Sponsor Refugees, and Refugees for Justice, that form an integral part of our theory of change. The most prominent of these is the rapidly growing Living Wage Foundation with a network of over 14,000 accredited Living Wage Employers across the UK.

As well as leading the team to expand our reach and build brand awareness through creative content, you will also have a keen eye for analytics and work with our partner agencies to deliver effective campaigns across paid social media ads, Google Ads and CMS management.
You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time; supporting communities to engage decision makers and win change post-General Election. Our external affairs work is fast-paced but committed to the distinctive ethos of Citizens UK – where local leaders and people experiencing injustice are in the lead. You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to tell a story in short time frame and have interest in a range of social justice issues including refugee and migrant justice and the real Living Wage.

About us:
Are you passionate about financial capability? Join us to develop knowledge, resources and tools that are accessible to all!
At The London Foundation for Banking & Finance (LFBF), our story began in 1879 when a group of visionary bank workers set out to elevate professional standards and leadership in the industry. Over the past 145 years, we became a recognised leader in financial services education, offering industry-leading qualifications and setting the gold standard for professional competency.
In 2023 we entered an exciting new chapter as an independent charity, revitalising and refocusing our mission to improve financial capability and empower professionals in the sector. We are now seeking passionate leaders to join our senior management team and work alongside our Chief Executive to drive this transformation forward.
Our charitable objective is the advancement of knowledge and education in financial services, and to carry out research and publish useful results for the benefit of the public. In doing so, we seek to improve levels of financial literacy and skills, as well as support those working within or considering a career in the financial services industry.
Our objective is just as relevant, perhaps even more so, today as it has been in our long history. If you're inspired to make a real impact and contribute to the advancement of financial knowledge for the benefit of society, we want to hear from you.

- Leading presentations to secure commercial commitments, gathering market feedback, and contributing to the development of LFBF’s brand identity.
- Taking responsibility for the profit and loss for LFBF’s training arm, LFBF Learning Ltd., and ensuring alignment with LFBF’s strategic growth plans.
You will have:
- Worked in a senior business development role, preferably at Director level.
- Proven experience in successfully developing and implementing strategic marketing and business development plans.
- Demonstrated the ability to manage and grow a portfolio of clients, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Experience in developing and managing partnerships with educational institutions, professional bodies, and securing sponsorships for events.
- Previous experience managing a profit and loss statement for a business unit or department.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively manage projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
What we offer:
- An opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the strategy of the charity.
- A collaborative, adaptable and supportive work environment where integrity and innovation are valued.
- Competitive compensation based on your experience and the charity sector.
