Job description

Victim Support is looking to recruit to the role of Assistant Director - Service Design and Quality. The location of this role is flexible and home based, with national travel when required.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

The Assistant Director - Service Design and Quality will lead the development and ongoing improvement of service methods and products, driving innovation in service delivery models and support techniques.

You will work to to ensure that VS' service models, approaches and interventions are evidence based, competitive and meet the needs and requirements of commissioners, funders and victims. You will have significant experience of designing products to support and develop service delivery.

You will lead the development and implementation of the VS Quality Management System and you will have understanding and experience of quality management application.

You will be expected to be to drive delivery, innovate and collaborate - able to lead and be a team player. You will foster innovation, collaborative, positive working relationships and drive high performance.
