Age UK is currently recruiting for a passionate Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our award-winning Partnership Management team on an 18 month fixed-term contract basis.
As Corporate Partnerships Manager you'll manage and grow a varied portfolio of partnerships to help deliver income and impact for Age UK and older people. Going above and beyond to ensure that our corporate partners feel valued and connected to our cause, you'll use your creativity and networking skills to identify future growth opportunities that match the mission and priorities of Age UK and older people.
The successful post-holder will manage the entire partnership life-cycle from contract signing to delivery, ensuring that KPIs are met, income is accurately recorded, and that all activities comply with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines, GDPR, VAT and other legal requirements.
With a strong passion to support older people, solid account management experience, and excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; as Corporate Partnerships Manager you'll be able to manage diverse projects and have a proven track record in securing income.
This is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of homebased and office working. Our linked office for this role is in London and you would be expected to attend the office once a week (Thursday) for the Corporate Partnership team day. The role may involve occasional travel, including some overnight stays.

About the Role
We're seeking a driven, empathetic, Programme Officer to help make a difference in the lives of asylum seekers, refugees, and young people in London.
As a Programme Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting our work, from helping recruit and train volunteer mentors to ensuring our CRM system is up to date and being the first point of contact for young people and their families. You’ll also ensure our mentors feel supported and will help them to provide a great experience for the young people they support.
Your role will also involve hands-on activities, like organising half-term trips, running weekly Youth Support Groups, and working directly with young people in temporary accommodation.
About You
You'll be a confident communicator, who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and has a passion for supporting children and young people to improve outcomes. Alongside an excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, you'll also be able to work as part of a growing team. Delivering the Philanthropy plan
- Manage the philanthropy programme at Bookmark, working with the Head of Fundraising to grow the major donor and Trusts & Foundations portfolio within the wider strategy

The Media Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing Independent Age’s media communications programme, including media and PR, social media, celebrities and stories. The Media Communications Manager will build excellent relationships with older people with lived experience of poverty, ensuring the voices of older people in financial hardship are at the centre of everything we do. They will also grow the organisations relationships with journalists, channel owners, celebrities, ambassadors, and other influencers to ensure that our media communications activity supports our organisational objective to tackle poverty in later life.
You should have broad experience of developing and implementing innovative, successful profile-raising plans (across digital and traditional channels). You will bring an ability to work both proactively and reactively, and experience of handling reputational or crisis issues. You should also have a passion for, and affinity with, the charity’s cause.

Overall purpose
The Philanthropy Manager will manage and steward a portfolio of funders and donors – across trusts and foundations, statutory sources and major donors – to secure annual and multi-year gifts in support of Breaking Barriers’ vision. As well as managing relationships with our existing donors there will be a focus on creating new relationships through proactive prospecting and developing a long-term strategic approach to stewardship and relationship development.

Job Purpose and Role:

The finance manager is responsible for support and maintenance of financial services and reporting to senior management. These duties include but are not limited to supporting the Finance Officer, maintaining accounts functions, budgeting and assisting in the drafting of monthly management reports.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the COO the Finance Manager will support and assist the Finance Officer in all routine bookkeeping duties, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. The Finance Manager ensures that effective methods are put in place to meet current and upcoming regulations of Charities e.g. Charities SORP (FRS102).
Duties (this list is not exhaustive)
· Supervision of regular posting of purchase and sales ledger entries.
· Preparing monthly management accounts, including comparatives to budgets, trends and forecasts.
· Compiling Balance sheet reconciliations
· Facilitating the use of account software to generate management accounts reports.
· Preparing quarterly ‘Income and Expenditure’ reports for Managers.
· Preparing interim/final financial project reports for submission to funders.
· Providing accurate and timely financial information to support the organisational financial strategy and decision-making process
· Ensuring all transactions are recorded, filed and reported correctly
· Streamlining and improving accounting systems, controls and process environment
· Reviewing and updating the current organisation's policies and procedures
· Preparing supporting schedules for annual audits and working with external accountants to assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
Knowledge
As an experienced Finance Manager, you must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
· Proven expertise with computerised accounts systems.
· An understanding of Liberty Account software would be an added advantage.
· Understanding of Charities Commission requirements
· Highly proficient computer skills including in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft programs
· GCSE Mathematics and English
· AAT Level 3 or equivalent

Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment. The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.
As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.
This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team and presents an exciting opportunity to grow Refugee Council’s established Philanthropy programme. The role will be responsible for delivering and creating bespoke development plans, supported by engaging cultivation and stewardship activities to secure increased funding from existing and new donors. The corporate partnerships team is in a new phase of strategy. The incoming Corporate Fundraising Manager will focus primarily on new business in the first instance, building up new and exciting cases for support from their wealth of programmes, projects and services, and taking these to market.
