Jangala is seeking an organised, enthusiastic Programme Associate to support the delivery of our connectivity programmes across the UK and internationally. This role will be part of the core team working to ensure that our projects reach the communities who need them most, supporting partners, improving programme processes, and contributing to Jangala’s organisational learning as we aim to deliver socially impactful internet to 4 million people by 2030.
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is comfortable with an outward facing role, seeking new opportunities for Jangala to support the connectivity needs of organisations in the UK and across the world and supporting our community of more than 300 existing partners who are using Jangala’s connectivity solutions to connect underserved communities and people without access to the internet.
You will work directly with nonprofit partners, communities, and internal teams to ensure our technology is deployed effectively, challenges are resolved quickly, and programme outcomes are captured and communicated. You will have an eye for detail and can bring a systematic approach to coordinating core Jangala processes and systems.

Details of the role
You will play a key role in supporting the management and scaling of Jangala’s programmes in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be part of Jangala’s programmes department, which leads the delivery of our donor-funded work, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing and nurturing partnerships with grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities, and international agencies.
Supporting Jangala’s community of existing partners who are using Big Box and Get Box technology to connect communities will also be an important part of what you do. The role will also involve building new partnerships, research, coordination and working with data-driven systems, ensuring that our connectivity solutions reach the people and communities who need them most.
Key responsibilities will include:

Conducting research about and doing outreach to prospective partner organisations

Onboarding new partner organisations in line with Jangala’s due diligence processes

Organising and running check in calls with partners

Monitoring and replying to queries which come through Jangala enquiry and partner support email accounts, including for routine partner management and troubleshooting

Inputting administrative data to Jangala’s partner management and monitoring and evaluation platforms

Information gathering for funder reports and proposals

General monitoring of equipment usage on the field on our telemetry systems

The person we're looking for

This is an opportunity to support within a refuge accommodation for women and children surviving domestic abuse, many of whom are living with trauma. As a Support Mentor, you will support in providing a much needed safe space and support for women, for them to feel empowered in their healing journey and feel secure in their independence, strengths, and skills.

About This Role
This is an exciting new opportunity to be part of a new project within our Wraparound Service in the UK. As Psychological Therapist, key aspects of your role will be:
- Facilitation of Reflective Practice for residential staff to help support therapeutically informed practice, staff resilience and emotional wellbeing.
- Direct support to Children in Care and Care Leavers to improve their emotional health and well-being, and to provide any additional support identified as needed by statutory services to those with mental health needs.

About the role:

This exciting role will lead on all aspects of the finance function, including managing a team of two, overseeing the production of year-end accounts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and auditors, and preparing monthly management accounts for reports to the Senior managers and trustees. This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.
As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.

Lead the next chapter of commercial innovation at Lift Schools
Lift Schools is embarking on a major new chapter, expanding our commercial activity to generate sustainable income that fuels our mission. We’re searching for an entrepreneurial and strategic Head of Commercial Ventures to build and lead our first commercial strategy, growing innovative ventures that balance financial sustainability with social impact.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Lift Schools’ commercial enterprise strategy. This is a unique opportunity to design, launch and scale commercial initiatives that will directly support our ambition: an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day.
About the role
As Head of Commercial Ventures, you will:
- Develop and deliver Lift’s first commercial enterprise strategy, aligned to our educational mission
- Grow and optimise existing ventures such as estate lettings and apprenticeship provision
- Identify and build new market opportunities — products, services and partnerships across the education and wider sector
- Lead development of business models, pricing strategies, go-to-market plans and commercial governance frameworks
- Establish systems, processes and performance metrics to ensure all commercial ventures are sustainable, ethical, and aligned with our educational purpose
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, schools and operational teams to turn ideas into scalable revenue streams, balancing innovation with integrity.
You’ll be someone who:
- Brings a strong track record in commercial business development, product design or venture growth
- Has taken a commercial idea from concept to delivery and scaled it successfully
- Combines strategic acumen with hands-on delivery and entrepreneurial drive
- Understands commercial governance, risk, and compliance in charitable or educational settings
- Understands how to generate revenue in purpose-led contexts such as education, consultancy or social enterprise, ensuring all ventures reflect Lift Schools’ values
- Builds credibility quickly and collaborates confidently with senior stakeholders
- Be a confident and collaborative leader, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, including Trustees, school leaders and partners, and inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver new initiatives
