Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Delivery Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to join our Digital, Data & Technology team at Age UK. You'll be leading the delivery of a variety of projects and changes, working with different teams across the organisation to make sure everything gets done on time, on budget, and meets the needs of our users.

This role is perfect if you're confident in managing projects and products, have strong leadership skills, and are comfortable working in agile and lean environments. You'll need to be great at communicating with people at all levels, including senior leaders, and be able to handle complex challenges while keeping things moving smoothly.

The Membership and Awards Assistant is a new role in the Membership team at the British Pharmacological Society. The Membership and Awards Assistant will work with the Membership and Awards Manager, other Society staff and the Society’s members to ensure that all aspects of the membership and awards service are operated effectively and efficiently, including membership, awards and travel bursary applications, member renewals and progression, and election to Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship.

As the London Sexual Health Services Manager, you will lead METRO’s London-based Sexual & Reproductive Health services, overseeing a range of programmes including sexual health, outreach, and youth engagement.

• Oversee payment processes and supporter payment journeys on our CRM, Salesforce.
• Work with the Marketing team to design ad hoc impactful events in person and online to convene our global audience.

Volunteering

• Design and implement a volunteering strategy which includes automating the volunteer experience, recruiting new volunteers and promoting ESU volunteering opportunities to relevant organisations as well as current and future supporters
• Own the volunteer training programme, including reviewing and refreshing training and ensuring all volunteers are appropriately trained.
• Match volunteers to ESU competition heats and resolve queries escalated by the Supporter Engagement Coordinator.
• Form partnerships with relevant organisations to grow the ESU’s pool of volunteers.
• Work with the Education team to create a high quality volunteer experience

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• 5+ years experience working in a partnerships, supporter services, volunteering or account management role
• Demonstrable experience of having delivered successful services to a range of supporters/customers.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering meaningful supporter journeys across multiple channels
• Demonstrable experience of growing and sustaining a pool of high quality volunteers through successful recruitment and development strategies
• Demonstrable experience of using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to identify trends and drive improvements.

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as marketing or communications
• An understanding of the nature and importance of the ESU’s charitable work and a strong commitment to increasing the reach of the organisation’s work.

About the role

The post-holder will lead a team of advocates working with adults and young people across NHS and private hospitals and the local community.

You will be required to provide line management support, be the point of contact for our stakeholders and ensure high quality delivery of our advocacy contracts.

Key responsibilities

î  Lead the delivery of assigned advocacy services actively encouraging your team to contribute to service planning, quality improvement and development.

î  Ensure the team provides instructed and non-instructed advocacy and signposting, working to the advocacy empowerment cycle and actively promoting self-advocacy throughout all work with service users where practicable.

î  Ensure the team capture high quality advocacy notes, outcomes information and other evidence into the Case Management System in a timely manner.

î  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new legislation and reports and current trends and issues in mental health, mental capacity, care act, and health and social care legislation, local and national policy relating to people with mental health issues and disseminate across your team.

î  Ensure quality standards are achieved by implementing operational policies and procedures to maintain professional and consistent advocacy services.

î  Ensure contracts are delivered within budget, to agreed key performance indicators, case work standards and monitoring requirements, eg producing reports including quarterly monitoring reports.

The Society

The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography and geographers. The Position

The IT Manager will work with our outsourced helpdesk provider to deliver maximum availability of the network, data and systems, to ensure we are secure and compliant and to provide support and training to our staff. The IT infrastructure includes an extensive wired and Wi-Fi network throughout the building with approaching 100 Wi-Fi access points. This network is critical for the smooth running of the Society’s day to day activities and the successful operation of events on the premises, which account for turnover in excess of £1m p.a.

The IT Manager will also be the internal technical/project lead on the ongoing development of the Society’s CRM system, Centrepoint’s oomi product.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £45,000-£55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

About the Service

Within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets we run a comprehensive range of community based provision for survivors. At the core is our Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service which support those at the highest risk of harm. We have a number of specialist roles and pan-borough project, which provide targeted support to providers and work closely in conjunction with partner services and work with over 500 survivors each year.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead on delivery of our community based support within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This will be to cover maternity leave until 31st March 2025. These services include core IDVA teams and additional specialist roles, often supporting survivors at the point of crisis and highest risk. You will take a lead role in ensuring the high standards we set are achieved and identifying where and how we can make improvements. You will lead on development and maintenance of effective commissioning relationships and be able to identify and develop opportunities for service enhancement and growth. 

About You

You will have leadership experience in a VAWG or other service delivery organisation which includes management of different service elements. You will be comfortable with managing risk and a calm, reflective operational leader able to support staff who are often working in crisis response mode.  You will have used your experience of working in a service delivery environment to identify and implement service improvements. You will have good data literacy and eye for detail, particularly around service utilisation and reporting.
