As Poppy Appeal Manager for London Poppy Day & Partnerships, you’ll take ownership of the planning and delivery of a large-scale, high-profile event that brings together volunteers, partners and supporters across the capital. You’ll be at the centre of it all turning plans into reality and ensuring the day runs seamlessly, while delivering a meaningful experience that drives both income and impact.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing complex projects with multiple moving parts. You’ll be comfortable overseeing logistics, suppliers, stock and stakeholder coordination, all while working to clear KPIs and timelines. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a commercial mindset using data and insight to evaluate success, identify improvements and maximise return. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can stay calm under pressure, this role will play to your strengths.

You’ll also be a strong relationship builder, able to engage and influence a wide range of people from internal teams and volunteers to corporate partners and suppliers. Creating a positive, well-supported experience for everyone involved will be a key part of your role, alongside developing partnerships that strengthen and grow the Poppy Appeal. This is a hands on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who takes ownership, enjoys problem solving and is motivated by delivering something that truly makes a difference.

You will be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site. This role also requires travel to our Aylesford, Kent warehouse. This will be counted as your working day in the office that week. Please be aware a full UK driving licence is required for this role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a House Unit Manager, Residential to join our Nursing and Quality Team. This role will require the successful candidate to be accountable, alongside a team of Clinical Leads and Deputy House Managers, for leading and managing a team of nursing and care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.  

You will be the lead professional responsible for coordinating the overall care and management of the children across a minimum of three Residential Houses and be the key contact for the family and multidisciplinary team.

You will provide clinical and operational leadership across all the Residential Houses providing highly specialised advice to nursing teams and wider professional colleagues as well as be involved in the strategic development of the residential services.

Role Requirements

· In collaboration with the Placement Managers, you will ensure care is appropriately planned and resourced, and you will ensure care is delivered in a safe manner at all times.

· You will be responsible for ensuring that the care in the Houses enables the children to access rehabilitation sessions, clinics, education and leisure activities as scheduled in their timetable.

· You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a House Unit Manager, 4 x Deputy House Managers / Deputy Clinical Leads and 4 x Clinical Leads.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About the role

As a Lead Worker (Intensive Case Management), you will deliver intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who are disadvantaged and need significant support to end their homelessness. You will be collaborating with internal and external colleagues to meet people’s immediate, acute needs and to support them to start taking steps towards ending their homelessness.

We take a bold approach to supporting people and adapt our ways of working when needed to ensure that we are providing impactful, equitable service giving everyone a fair opportunity to receive the support they need. We help people to challenge barriers put up by the system. This is an incredibly varied role as you will offer practical support such as help to attend external appointments, open bank accounts, and obtain IDs, but you will also work closely with our internal clinical psychologists to help your members to recognise their strengths and build resilience.

About you

• You have experience supporting people with complex trauma and multiple needs including mental health, physical health and substance misuse difficulties, a history of multiple exclusion and social isolation.

• You have worked within a relevant sector which could include domestic violence, women’s services, migrants’ services, probation, or health services.

• You have knowledge of relevant housing, homelessness, social care, and welfare legislation.

• You work reflectively and welcome learning through continuous improvement.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. With 16 beds and a short-stay model focused on planned moves within 28 days, this service is about momentum, opportunity and change. As a Project Worker, you’ll play a central role in helping people take their next steps towards secure and sustainable housing.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Managing the relationship with our maintenance provider to ensure our building is in good repair and being maintained as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Supervising work that is happening onsite to understand the cause and solution as well as making sure that it is conducted safely.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace through regular inspections, keeping all spaces safe, reviewing RAMS, and enforcing our permit-to-work system.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. This includes undertaking a wide range of fabric work such as basic plumbing, painting / decorating, or mechanical issues.
• Working with the Senior Workplace Officer to move furniture safely and working together around dates for work that balance the need of resolution and cause the least amount of disruption.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the effective day-to-day running of the charity’s services and internal operations.

Reporting to the Director, you will ensure that services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will also play an important role in strengthening operational systems and processes, helping the charity improve and grow its impact.

You will manage a small operational team including caseworkers, lived experience coaches, an administrator and an evening worker, supporting them to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness.
