The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Community Rehabilitation Service. We are the largest centre commissioned by NHS England for Category A neurorehabilitation.
The team plays a pivotal role in generating and overseeing referrals for our frontline services whilst managing all children and young people placement-related activity. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Business Development Marketing Manager to drive referral generating activity through both business development and marketing activity. This may include direct mail and advertising campaigns, both on and offline, through to organising and attending events, both those hosted by other organisations and our own. You’ll play an important role in supporting coordination of and delivery of this activity.
You will have the opportunity to develop and implement your expertise in an environment that is focused on the highest clinical and quality standards. Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate:
- An understanding of business development and marketing, ideally be in a services-oriented environment but this is not essential.
- Experience in implementing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns – both on and offline, whether to consumers (B2C), professionals (B2B), or government departments/professionals (B2G).
- Ability to work well with others – both within the BD&C team and across other departments, including the central marketing and communications team who support implementation of our plans.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects and tasks at one time.
- Strong administrative, computer and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment, with resilience, determination and passion.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Responsible Finance is the membership association for the UK’s Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). CDFIs are community lenders, committed to delivering positive social impact, and offer fair and affordable finance to businesses, social enterprises and to people unable to access it elsewhere.
This is a pivotal moment to be joining the CDFI sector. Responsible Finance and CDFIs are poised for exciting growth following two record-breaking funding announcements in late 2024 which has seen the sector backed by Government and leading financial institutions including the British Business Bank and JPMorgan Chase. This follows Lloyds Banking Group becoming the first mainstream lender to invest in the CDFI sector earlier in the year.
This new funding will enable business-lending CDFIs to scale their reach and impact, supporting economic growth and financial inclusion across the UK. Successful candidates will play a vital role in helping to make sure that CDFIs are supported to build their operational capacity and maximise the opportunity this brings.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to help us to deliver an ambitious Capacity Building programme for our business-lending CDFIs and support our wider and growing member base. You will support Programme Managers to effectively deliver key projects within both the Capacity Building programme and more broadly support our small team to deliver outstanding service to CDFIs across the personal, micro, business and social enterprise lending sectors. The role requires some working with our members and stakeholders and strong levels of versatility and flexibility to deliver outstanding results.
No prior knowledge about CDFIs is required so long as you have a keen interest to learn about the sector and are passionate about increasing access to fair finance for businesses, underserved communities and people.
The Role
The Project Support Officer will assist in the delivery of key projects and support the Programme Director and Programme Managers in ensuring the smooth running of a Programme Management Office (PMO) at Responsible Finance.
The role holder will support the timely and quality delivery of projects and programmes, including playing a key role in producing timely information and reports, and ensuring the smooth running of programme meetings and boards.
Just as importantly the role-holder will also support the wider Responsible Finance team to deliver key projects and ongoing support to our members and provide high quality administrative support where required.
The role-holder will also be responsible for ensuring that Responsible Finance’s onboarding process is followed for all new CDFIs, to ensure that they receive high quality and timely support at the start of their membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting aspects of Responsible Finance’s communications activity including generating content for and distributing the member newsletter, as well as supporting the effective delivery of events and website updates.
- Ensuring the smooth running of an important and high-profile bank referral pilot project, monitoring email referrals and data entry with a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and timelines.
- Assisting in the delivery of key work streams and projects, including the monitoring and reporting of grants to support capacity building.
- Supporting Programme Managers to monitor project progress, produce and maintain high-quality project documentation (plans, risk and issues registers, etc.) to support effective delivery.
- Supporting the effective and smooth running of project and programme meetings across Responsible Finance, including schedule and arranging, developing documentation, and effective minute taking.

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong and proven experience as a project support officer/co-ordinator providing high quality support across multiple projects at once.
- Experience in the generation and updating of online content using tools such as WordPress, Canva, SurveyMonkey etc to develop high quality web and social media content.
- Strong all-round administrative support skills, fluent with standard Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams with an ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
- Able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills including concise writing skills and ability to synthesise information into an easy to comprehend format/narrative (both written and verbal).

The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in delivering and managing WAF’s digital content and channels. Working closely with the Managing Director and Marketing & Fundraising Consultant, the role will help to implement and grow WAF’s digital marketing strategy—creating compelling, creative, and consistent content that drives engagement, raises income, and strengthens our brand.

The Wildlife Aid Foundation (WAF) is an animal charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of British wildlife. We are passionate about protecting the future for our native species.
We run one of the UK’s busiest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres. We deal with over 20,000 wildlife-related incidents, each year. It’s a 24/7 job. On any given day, our rescuers will be scaling trees to rescue stranded baby owls or cutting fox cubs from garden netting. Our vets will be performing life-saving surgery, while our carers look after hundreds of patients and young babies being nursed in our rehab centre.
We rely on a small army of over 300 volunteers and run popular outreach and education programmes that help people take actions to make the world a better place for us and our animal neighbours in the natural world.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage WAF’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok), including scheduling daily content, posts, stories, and reels.
- Create engaging, on-brand content using a mix of video, imagery, graphics, and copy tailored to each platform.
- Work with the Marketing Consultant to implement a social media strategy and content plan, ensuring alignment with charity objectives and audience insights.

Job summary
We are looking for a proactive, confident and supporter-focused fundraiser to build and manage relations with JGDR’s local community across North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Working with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager, you will deliver a strategy to grow income and volunteer numbers from the local community. This is a varied role which will cover:
· Stewarding and recruiting supporters undertaking their own fundraising activities, including those taking part in challenge events
· Organising & attending local events to raise awareness and income
· Proactively approaching and working with local &national businesses
· Recruiting and overseeing a network of volunteers who can support income generation in your local area. This role would suit a target-driven, approachable and resourceful fundraiser with ambition and drive – there is plenty of opportunity to make this role your own and drive forward growth in these crucial income streams.
Your role
You will sit in the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, and report to the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager. You will manage your own time to effectively balance both developing and stewarding relationships with individual and corporate supporters in the local area and working through a network of volunteers to deliver fundraising and retail objectives.
You will develop and grow strong relationships with supporters, collaborating with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure you are offering the best supporter experience you can. You will attend local events with, and through, volunteers, work with colleagues in our retail and operation sites, and spot other opportunities to promote JGDR in your community and drive support for our work.

Key responsibilities
Community fundraising
· Identify, engage, and steward DIY and community fundraisers, developing strategies to promote fundraising activities in these groups and grow income from your local area
· Proactively pursue local business partnership opportunities, developing a pipeline of potential corporate support and making applications to secure support
· Provide high quality stewardship of supporters, groups and businesses within the community, responding to enquiries in a timely way and ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard
· Represent JGDR as the first point of contact within the community, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteer opportunities
· Ensure that Donorflex is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of the local audiences, including individual supporters, local businesses, and volunteers, and their historical engagement with the charity
Volunteering
· Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Administration Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community
· Via volunteer support, oversee the distribution of collection boxes in your local area, monitoring and reporting on income generated
· Coordinate and attend – supported by a network of volunteers – key local events, e.g. county shows, to raise awareness of JGDR in the local community and drive support for the charity amongst target audience groups.
· Ensure JGDR retail shops, and their volunteers, in your area have relevant and timely information on current fundraising campaigns and other initiatives to share with customers

Other duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online

· Ensure all fundraising activities and events operate within best practice and regulatory guidelines and comply with health and safety requirements.

We’re seeking a well-organised, enthusiastic team player to join a grants team as a Grant Support Officer.
Position: Grants Support Officer
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, flexible working
Salary: £27,101 rising to £32,323 per annum.
Location: Flexible, with office hubs in Aberystwyth, Cardiff and Rhyl
Contract: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly grants team. As part of the role you will work with a diverse range of voluntary organisations across Wales, supporting them to deliver fantastic projects.
The role is perfect for someone who is looking for a busy but varied role. If you enjoy working as part of a team and have great time management skills, this rewarding role will give you the opportunity to use your own initiative.
Some of your main duties will include:
- Speaking with potential grant applicants to determine how we may be able to support their activity
- Working as part of a team to complete assessments on grant applications
- Supporting a portfolio of organisations, with a flexible approach to ensure projects deliver
You will also have opportunities to work with other teams and funders.
This job is highly varied and fast paced, a rewarding role for a motivated, well-organised person who thrives in a team but can also work on their own initiative.
About You
You will have:
- Experience using operational systems and processes, including online databases and grant management systems
- Proven experience managing funding schemes and supporting funded projects to deliver objectives and resolve issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats (e.g. reports, presentations, social media, websites)
- Good numerical skills with experience working with financial data and using Microsoft Excel functions
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with databases, spreadsheets, email and word processing (preferably Microsoft Office)
- Highly organised, able to manage own workload, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines consistently
The ability to communicate in Welsh is also desirable.
