This role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, digitally confident person to join our growing charity and create content for a new online resource hub, currently in development. We have big plans for this hub and want to pack it with expertise from brilliant chefs, leading educators and celebrities passionate about school food.
Our charity is growing again - this time we’re transforming online learning for school food. You’ll help shape and create resources for our new online hub. This hub will become a central point for schools, kitchen teams and caterers to seek inspiration. You’ll be creative and confident enough to work with busy chefs, celebrities and educators who all care deeply about feeding children brilliant school food. This role will sit in our communications team and focus on creating clear, engaging and practical resources that help people take action, whether that is a headteacher looking to improve their whole school to food or a school chef looking to transform their school meals.
You will help turn complex ideas, research and on the ground practice into user friendly content, in a range of formats, that reflects our brand, showcases the work of our chefs, schools, patrons and partners, and puts the wellbeing of children and young people at its heart.
This is a hands-on creative role, well suited to someone starting out in content creation or design who wants to build their skills while helping future generations thrive.

Chefs in Schools is a young, ambitious charity that’s rapidly growing. We believe every child has the right to eat and learn about good food in school.
We focus our efforts in areas of high socio-economic deprivation, where more than a third of children are entitled to free school meals, and diet-related disease is driving further inequality.
We support and train school kitchen teams to serve the best, freshest and tastiest food possible, alongside meaningful food education. We share learning and resources, aiming to inspire and enable others to follow our lead.
We’re backed by some of the biggest names in food and have ambitious targets to ensure every child has access to incredible school food and food education, setting them up for life with the skills and knowledge to feed themselves well.
About you and the role
This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.
Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education.
Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.
This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. You will also help manage the day to day flow of content into the hub, keeping resources organised, up to date and easy to navigate, while bringing a curious, practical mindset that helps us keep improving what we publish. You’ll identify any resources that could be a wider engagement tool to draw more people to the hub.

Key responsibilities:

Work with internal teams and external partners to develop and produce resources for the resource hub, aligned with project priorities and timelines.

Turn existing programme materials, case studies and evidence into clear, attractive resources for different audiences (e.g. school leaders, kitchen teams, young people, parents, funders, policymakers).

Write and edit copy for 1–2 pagers, multi page guides, slide decks, toolkits and the resource hub’s webpages.

Work with colleagues to storyboard, script and produce short films for the resource hub. Where the resources could appeal to a wider audience, you will link up with the comms team to promote the hub.

Create and maintain website content for the resource hub, writing clear copy for landing pages, navigation and resource descriptions, and working with the CMS to keep content up to date and well-organised

Create short videos and films on your phone and capture photography in schools and at events.

Work with the programme teams to build simple infographics, charts or visuals that explain impact and evidence.

Ensure all content follows our brand guidelines, tone of voice and accessibility standards.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, chefs, young people and partner organisations, to gather information, quotes and approvals.

About the role
You will ensure you and your team will deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being on your own caseload and to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. You will be dealing with personnel issues, providing professional support and supervision to your team, including but not limited to, independent file reviews (IFRs), time recording and good case management, as well as carrying your own caseload of housing litigation.
Contributing to the strategic direction of Shelter legal services nationally will be an important aspect of the role too, as will taking the lead on delivering strategic change aligned to Shelter’s strategy and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.
You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Head of Legal Services, the Hub Management Team and teams within Communications, Policy and Campaigns and Business Development. As a key member of the management team, you will also get to play your part in the management of our offices, including attending management team meetings and collaborating with other teams.
About you
1. You will be an experienced housing solicitor, court advocate, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others.
2. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience
3. You will have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law.

The Policy and Public Affairs team works to ensure that national laws, policies and guidance across the UK are fit-for-purpose in preventing cruelty to children. We work across the four nations of the UK. We develop and maintain the NSPCC’s positions on key public policy issues, drawing on research and policy analysis and feed in organisational insight and expertise gained through our services. We use our evidence-based positions to shape and influence national policy discussions on issues affecting child protection and manage the NSPCC’s political relations and work with governments, legislatures and stakeholders across the UK.
We focus on five key policy priorities: the child protection system and children’s social care; early years and health; child sexual abuse; online safety; and young victims and witnesses.
Job purpose
We are recruiting a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to contribute to the work of the Wales Policy and Public Affairs team in delivering real change and reform in the best interests of children.
The Policy and Public Affairs Officer will be responsible for undertaking policy work to achieve the NSPCC’s strategic goals, using their skills and experience to strengthen the NSPCC’s impact on public policy, and in doing so make a significant contribution to keeping children safe. The post holder will support the delivery of a range of policy-focused projects both within the Wales policy team, and across the wider UK policy team:
- Within the Wales team, the Officer will research and help build persuasive, evidence-based policy positions, support the NSPCC’s influencing activity as appropriate, and write consultations and impactful briefings. They will play a key role in supporting policy analysis, policy research and public affairs activity with a range of external stakeholders, including relevant elected members and government officials. Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Who we're looking for

About this Internship
The Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship role is a twelve-month paid internship beginning in March 2026.

The Role
Future Advocacy is seeking a Digital Campaigns Consultant. This is a great opportunity to do impactful work within a small, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development.The successful candidate will be a natural digital campaigner and eager to contribute to our work with our brilliant clients. They will quickly develop a range of skills, including digital strategy, content development, communications and stakeholder management of agencies. About the role
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer who can lead with humanity, clarity and confidence. You will inherit an organisation that has been doing its best through difficulty and now needs a leader who can bring direction, strengthen relationships, and help us give hope and support to everyone living with dystonia.
This role will give you scope to improve services, reshape structures and bring a renewed sense of purpose to the charity.
Your priorities will include:
- Creating financial sustainability and diversifying income
- Providing leadership to our staff
- Strengthening our core services
- Raising awareness nationally and helping to lobby for improved patient pathways
This is a hands-on role in a small organisation where you will directly influence operational improvements as well as strategic direction.

Salary: £33,500 per annum (pro rata), subject to deductions for tax and national insurance contributions as required by law
Hours: Part time (4 days, equivalent to 30 hours per week)

About the role:
In this role you will support FLEX’s staff team and Board of Trustees to guarantee the smooth running of our operations. You will ensure the effective administration and maintenance of relevant office resources and systems. This role involves supporting tasks related to governance and compliance, HR, finance and grant administration. You will work closely with FLEX’s Management Team but will have a central role, working across teams, and you will be responsible for staff communications regarding internal operations.

Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) is a research and policy organisation working to end labour exploitation by challenging and transforming the systems and structures that make workers vulnerable to abuse. We are striving for a world free from all forms of labour exploitation, including forced labour and human trafficking. FLEX seeks to achieve this vision through the prevention of labour abuses, protection of the rights of those affected or at risk of exploitation and by promoting best practice responses to labour exploitation through research and evidence-based advocacy.
Key responsibilities:
General Administration
• Provide administrative support to the FLEX team/Board including organising meetings, taking minutes, booking travel and accommodation
• Financial administrative support including processing invoices and expenses claims
• Ensure post is collected, filed and forwarded
• Coordinate the schedule for donor progress reports with staff, ensuring that internal and external deadlines are met
• Create and maintain effective filing systems in line with data protection legislation
• Manage and respond to general enquiries, received by phone, email or post.
• Provide logistical support and coordination for FLEX events
• Liaise with external stakeholders to support FLEX’s work within the sector
• Support the drafting of FLEX organisational and governance documents
• Support the implementation of FLEX’s Equality and Diversity Strategy
• Identify any opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes.
Office Management/Health and Safety
• Ensure office provisions and office stationery are well stocked
• Act as tenant representative for FLEX at The Foundry (shared office building), liaising with Ethical Property Company building management, attending tenant meetings and sharing relevant information with the FLEX team
• Report any health and safety issues to the Ethical Property Company
• Organise annual PAT testing and fire risk assessments
• Liaise with The Foundry Facilities Manager regarding fire safety and other aspects relating to FLEX’s office lease
• Maintain equipment log
• Ensure FLEX has functional, up-to-date IT equipment, including ensuring printer, phone and Wi-Fi are working as expected
• Liaison with IT provider, website support provider, and any other relevant services to enable smooth operations
• Act as Fire Warden
HR Administration
• Support recruitment processes including equality monitoring, recruitment timelines, candidate communications, interview set up (online and in person)
• Keep starters and leavers checklists up to date
• Maintain up to date staff records on Breathe HR database, including training and development
• Ensure provision of equipment associated with homeworking and office-based work e.g. cameras, laptops, DSE requirements
• Support the implementation of FLEX’s Equality and Diversity Strategy
• Organise and collate staff surveys.
Other
• Undertake any other duties within the context of the role as may be determined by your line manager.
