About the role
Our mission at Hope into Action is to empower the local church to help end homelessness. For over 15 years we’ve developed our model and grown a network in 38 locations. We know that homelessness is more than just house-lessness: people need community and friendship, as well as accommodation.
Our Community Connect pilot project has a big vision: to extend our church-based friendship and support to those at risk of homelessness. The project will complement Hope into Action’s core model of supported housing and aligns directly with the government's strategic emphasis on community-basedsupport to preventhomelessness.
You will be instrumental in assisting 3 initial locations (Peterborough, Norwich & Southampton) to pilot the Community Connect programme and will work with the Head of Delivery & Training to create the structures, training and processes necessary to develop and grow it in more locations.
You will support the local Co-ordinators at each location to promote the vision, set up partnerships, recruit volunteers and receive appropriate referrals from local authorities and agencies.
There will be a budget to work to and defined goals to deliver as we seek to grow in years 2 & 3 and to see Community Connect launched in more locations.

You will be passionate about our work to empower the church to address homelessness and you share our values. You will be able to work with members of the public, professional bodies and churches. You will be able to work with people with support needs from a wide range of backgrounds.
Whilst offering confident leadership for Community Connect, you will be closely liasing with existing Hope into Action staff to ensure the project dovetails well with our core delivery. Additionally, you will have a good understanding of strategic planning as we keep one eye on current provision and the other on future plans for growth and national scalability.

About us
Peterborough was where Hope into Action began back in 2011. We are at the forefront of providing excellent quality supported accommodation to those that need it most in the city. Partnering with 11 churches, we currently have 16 homes each serving different demographics and strong relationships with other ministries and local authorities. It’s natural it is one of our initial locations for Community Connect and we’re delighted to be working with Light Project Peterborough on this venture.
Norwich is also a city managed directly by Hope into Action UK. With 11 homes it’s been operating since 2012 and has our most experienced Team Lead.
Our Southampton franchise is led by City Life Church and opened in 2020, it now has 7 homes and runs some other outreach projects to those on the margins, which make it another well suited and prepared location for Community Connect.

The Communications Co-ordinator plays an important role in helping MindOut communicate its impact, services, campaigns and community voice to a wide range of stakeholders. Role description

Main Tasks
Communications & Content Creation
Develop and deliver engaging communications across MindOut's social media, website, newsletters and other communication channels.
Create accessible and inclusive content that reflects the diversity of LGBTQ+ communities.
Write articles, blogs, case studies, impact stories, promotional materials and project updates.
Support the development of a consistent organisational voice and communication style.
Gather and manage photographs, testimonials, quotes, video content and community stories, ensuring appropriate consent and permissions are obtained.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
Lead on the day-to-day management of MindOut's social media platforms.
Plan and schedule content using appropriate digital tools.
Monitor engagement, respond appropriately to enquiries and identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
Track performance and provide regular reports on communications activity and impact.
Keep up to date with relevant trends, campaigns and issues affecting LGBTQ+ communities and mental health.
Heritage Project Communications
Lead communications activity for Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health.
Promote project activities including oral history interviews, workshops, exhibitions, volunteer opportunities and public events.
Support the development and promotion of online heritage content and digital exhibitions.
Work alongside volunteers, participants and partners to showcase project outcomes and achievements.
Assist with gathering project evidence, feedback and impact stories required for funder reporting.
Events & Community Engagement
Support the promotion and delivery of community events, awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.
Produce event marketing materials and communications.
Coordinate communications before, during and after events.

Maintain and update website content.

About Us
Rossendale Refugee Support Group is a small, community-based charity committed to supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety . We provide practical advice, advocacy, support and opportunities for social contact to individuals and families living in Rossendale. We currently have a single employee who leads service delivery, and over 20 highly committed volunteers.
We provide two weekly Drop-in sessions for clients, one at Haslingden Link on Wednesdaymornings (offering casework and social opportunities) and one at Bacup Maden Centre on Tuesday mornings (offering casework only).
We are a small charity entering a significant stage in our development. Having established a strong reputation locally we have recently secured a Local Authority contract for delivering refugee advice services. We are now seeking a Director who can lead the charity at a time of transformation, capitalising on our increased financial security to improve our offer, develop strategic direction, and establish the charity on a more sustainable footing. Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership. Work with Trustees to develop and implement future direction of the organisation.
· Partnership development. Represent RRSG and build partnerships with funders, community organisations, national bodies, and other stakeholders.
· Fundraising. Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's fundraising strategy, identifying funding sources, preparing high-quality funding applications and reports, diversifying and strengthening income streams.

Birth Companions is a national charity supporting women having their babies in very difficult and complex situations. The Role
To provide high-quality, person-centred support and housing management services to residents living within Causeway's Mental Health Needs Service. We support adults living with moderate to severe mental health conditions, many of whom have experienced trauma, social exclusion, homelessness, substance misuse or other complex needs. Some residents may present with behaviours associated with their mental health, including heightened anxiety, emotional dysregulation, suicidal ideation, self-neglect or periods of crisis. About the Role
As a Support Worker in a Children’s Home, you will provide direct support and care for our young people, who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged between12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our those in our care are safe, providing support, liaison with other external professionals and completion of support documents to record information.
If applying for the Waking Night role, you will have the additional support of an on-call manager should there be any emergencies. Further to this, you will be involved in monthly team meetings and receive monthly one-to-one supervision with your manager.
Applicants should have
Minimum of 1 years’ experience working and supporting Young People in residential, semi-independent, fostering settings or youth work centres, caring for Children and Young People with emotional behavioural difficulties, neurodivergent or SEND, etc.
Willingness to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years as per Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (England)
Genuine commitment to working with and supporting children and Young People to achieve their full potential; with the ability to build and promote trusted relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
An understanding of the issues facing children and Young People and a basic understanding of safeguarding Regulations and Procedures.
The ability to cope effectively with challenging behaviour.
Good communication and team working skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and if applicable, sleep-in’s.
Commitment to undertake any mandatory training (outside of working hours) and continuous learning to ensure a high level of service.

You will have experience of:
Planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children’s individual development, curiosity, and wellbeing.
Working collaboratively as part of an early years professional team to maintain and continuously improve the quality of practice, provision, and outcomes for children.

Main duties include:
