About Trade

Trade Sexual Health (Trade for short) is a small health and wellbeing charity based in Leicester. We currently have eight staff and more than 40 volunteers.

Trade began as a grassroots gay community response to HIV in Leicester in the late 1980s. Throughout the 1990s, Trade worked creatively to spread information about sexual health and HIV prevention to gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in the city (GBMSM).

Trade has been a registered charity since 2000. Over the last 25 years, our core work has focused on improving the sexual health of gay and bisexual men across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We have always taken a holistic approach to understanding and addressing the range of issues that might impact gay and bisexual men’s ability to look after their sexual health. As a result, we started a counselling service – Approach Counselling – to support community members in improving their mental wellbeing.

We now draw on this experience to tackle wider health inequalities related to sexual health and HIV, and to provide peer support for anyone living with HIV in the areas where we work. For a small charity, Trade has always ‘punched above its weight’ and we have a national profile for the innovative sexual health work we do.

We currently hold contracts to deliver sexual health promotion and HIV prevention outreach in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to LGBTQ+ people, asylum seekers, and a range of racialised communities that experience significant inequalities in relation to their sexual health.

We have a history of providing peer support to people living with HIV, and this is now becoming a growing strand of our work. This post is central to the delivery of HIV Peer Support in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (and builds on our experience of delivering similar services in Northamptonshire).

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver first-line peer support to people living with HIV, of all genders and backgrounds, in Leicestershire. The postholder will be based at the Trade offices in central Leicester and will work closely with clinical staff at the Jarvis Clinic at Leicester Royal Infirmary. They will ensure that people who have been recently diagnosed, are struggling with their diagnosis, or are re-engaging with HIV care feel supported and have the information they need to live well and thrive with HIV.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), bringing personal knowledge and experience to the role.
• Collaborate with a small group of volunteer peer mentors to support people living with HIV.
• Assist in recruiting new volunteers and ensure patients needing ongoing peer mentoring are matched with suitable mentors.
• Support individuals in developing self-management strategies, addressing stigma, reducing social isolation, and improving wellbeing.
• Develop a catalogue of services, groups, and support options for signposting.
• Encourage engagement with HIV treatment and care, improving ART adherence and promoting viral suppression.

Job Activities

• Triage new patients to identify specific support needs.
• Coordinate appointments between mentors and mentees.
• Refer or signpost individuals to specialist services (e.g. mental health, housing, benefits, immigration).
• Support the British HIV Association Standards of Care and National Standards in HIV Peer Support.
• Contribute to innovative approaches to peer support delivery.

• Assist in compiling quarterly monitoring reports for Leicester Public Health.
• Represent Trade professionally at forums and meetings.

Accountability

About the role

We are looking for an IT and Data Officer to join our central team, working in collaboration with our services which are our Independent Approved Premises (IAP). You will maintain and support our data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, responsible for managing CRM systems and supporting with first line IT queries which could include ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.

You will work across multiple projects to ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and communicated, proactively identifying and addressing any data or system related issues. You will support with continuous improvement for the service and wider organisation.

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about IT and data, able to utilise this within a practical working environment. You will be confident in using various tools and software with transferrable skills. The Role

This is an exciting time to join FareShare as we enter a period of expansion. This successful applicant will co-ordinate the day-to-day operations, oversee and support a team of volunteers and ensure the ongoing success of the FareShare Southern Central food warehouse in Southampton. This will involve working closely with warehouse colleagues and volunteers to ensure that all operational activities are completed to the agreed timetable and to the food safety standards set out in the FareShare operating manual. Main Areas of Responsibility

Operations

Work as a team with the Warehouse Manager, Deputy Warehouse Manager colleagues and volunteers to ensure all shifts are adequately planned, supervised and meet operational needs.

Responsible for organising food distribution using the FareShare food management systems.

Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities.

Ensuring all key activities and milestones per shift are met.

Work with the Warehouse Manager to develop new operational processes as required and take an active role in their  implementation.

To carry out any other duties which may be necessary.

Health & Safety

Be responsible for the Health & Safety and security of FareShare Southern Central buildings, vehicles, staff and volunteers.

Carry out & update risk assessments as defined by the FareShare operating manual and complete risk assessments for all new activity as required.

Ensure compliance with all FareShare policies and procedures and industry standards as required by food donors and regulators.

To ensure that the vans used by FareShare Southern Central are roadworthy and legal (taxed and insured) and to ensure there is payment of appropriate charges

Support the development of relevant policies and procedures for FareShare and to ensure that all staff, volunteers, food suppliers, charities and visitors adhere to them as appropriate

To comply with monitoring and evaluation systems as required for the Regional Centre’s activities and report regularly to the Warehouse Manager as required 

Operating Hours and Shift Pattern

Position will be 7am to 3pm/ 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.  

Flexibility to provide cover for planned and ad-hoc absences as well as Public and Bank Holidays is highly desirable in this role and also offers the opportunity for additional hours to supplement the core hours.

Senior People & Culture Associate – Contracts

The Senior People & Culture Associate for Contracts provides administrative support across a variety of functions supporting the recruitment, hiring and consultant lifecycle of Internews Europe (UK) and Internews International (France) Personal Services Contractors. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:  

· Draft personal services contracts and modifications for both Internews Europe and Internews International 

· Review contract requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure adherence to organisational and international hiring regulations, tailoring needs to those of Internews Europe, Internews International and the overarching Alliance

· Liaise with program teams to explain and advise on policies and best practices

· Lead collaboration with PMUs to find suitable solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders for PSC contracts and modifications 

· Distribute and track contract documents through electronic signature software, proactively setting reminders and ensuring documents are signed within service level commitment timeline 

· Create and maintain accurate, up to date contractor records 

· Run regular, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or ad-hoc personnel reports

Role Summary

The Community Forest Trust (CFT) supports, enables and champions the work of England’s Community Forests, who are the leading woodland creation network in England. We provide a range of support services for the forests including finance functions, payroll and accountable body for funded projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance and Operations Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with the organisation’s financial policies and procedures. You will also provide support to the CFT Managing Director and team, including diary management, booking travel and accommodation, supporting project delivery and arranging meetings and events. Key Responsibilities

Finance Work

• Check, process and record payments in accordance with agreed procedures, administer invoices and expenses claims received, ensuring they are forwarded for authorisation in a timely manner, correctly coded and posted on the finance system
• Prepare purchase invoices, add to the payment spreadsheet ready for weekly payment run processing

We are recruiting for a Fundraising assistant on a FTC for 6 months for a social welfare charity for their regional cover in Edinburgh.

The Employer

The British Society for Haematology (BSH) is the largest UK multidisciplinary Haematology Society with over 3,000 members. The Role

The main role of the BSH Guidelines is to provide haematologists with up-to-date advice on the diagnosis and treatment of haematological disease and on laboratory haematology practice, primarily by the production of evidence-based guidelines.

The co-ordination and commissioning of the required guidelines is administered by the Guidelines Team, overseen by the Guidelines Executive Committee; and carried out by four Task Forces, each responsible for a specialist area: blood transfusion, haemostasis & thrombosis, haemato-oncology and general haematology.  In addition, each Task Force oversees 10-14 Writing Groups, who develop BSH guidance.

The post-holder supports the Guidelines Team, including coordination of activities of the volunteer groups and supporting liaison with external groups and organisations.

The purpose of the outreach is to raise awareness about the benefits of retrofitting their homes and provide support to households who want to install measures. Your role will be to design and deliver a programme of outreach, engagement and awareness raising about the benefits of retrofit and to support residents on their retrofit journey

· Lewisham Council is planning a major retrofit programme for the council housing in Lewisham. Selce is supporting the local authority. Our role is to enable residents to understand the benefits of retrofit and to support any vulnerable residents to accommodate work in their homes. Your role will be to plan and deliver an engagement programme that engages residents, TRA's, local community groups, local champions to communicate the benefits of retrofit

· In 2026 we expect to be launching a new Community Share Offer and to raise Community Share capital to finance solar PV/ LED Retrofit in local community sites. Your role will be to contribute to a broader effort to raise awareness about the share offer in Southeast London

Ideally you will be locally based in South East London, with a strong links to the community and an interest in and some experience around climate issues and community retrofit. Your role will be to engage residents through in-person or online events. You will use a range of engagement techniques including workshops, community events, eco home tours and ‘retrofit parties’, supporting ‘resident champions’ to promote retrofit and occasionally doorknocking. You will support the wider team’s online communications – through owned channels, social and print media.

You will also work to build peer support networks, enabling residents who have retrofitted their homes to share their learning. Your role is to understand the needs of householders in relation to warmth, wellbeing, energy costs and climate and work to understand how our projects can best respond to those needs.

There is a strong possibility that this role could be extended beyond the initial 8 month fixed term period

Engagement Officer (Midlands & West)
We are looking for an Engagement Officer to work with members of the UK fire services community in an inhouse, face to face fundraising capacity. This role covers a region reaching from Severn Park in Avonmouth (Bristol), to Staffordshire and across the Midlands and part of Wales.

The successful candidate will ideally be located around the Birmingham area, or within the Mid / West of England, to enable frequent travel across the region to visit stations and training centres regularly.

The Role

About You
We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team. You’ll need excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences, with the ability to deliver PowerPoint Presentations in a confident, and clear manner.

You'll need good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, and work without close supervision. You'll also need to be competent on standard Microsoft packages, have efficient time management skills and a proficient use of social media and apps.

Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site (Nag’s Head Farm) near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Volunteer Manager (Nags Head Farm) is to provide the management and administration of the key Volunteer sector of Camp Jojo, and to offer administrative support and feedback to members of the Camp Jojo Board in this regard.

The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for successful initial contact, recruitment, communication with and administration of volunteer for the Nag’s Head Farm camps, through to their successful placement at camp.
