We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator (known internally as Salesforce Specialist) to support our Systems Manager in maintaining and developing Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
In this role, you will act as a strategic systems enabler, driving efficiency, data insight, and user adoption. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Salesforce administration, including managing user roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, and flows.
- Troubleshooting issues, data cleansing, and implementing secure system changes.
- Evaluating and deploying Salesforce updates, managing Mass Action Schedulers, and documenting workflows.
- Advising on system development viability and working in sandbox environments to test and deploy changes effectively.
- Providing user support, troubleshooting, and training to colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:
Impact and Insight Delivery
• Work with colleagues across the organisation, and in particular programmes and policy teams and wider organisation to help convene, capture, collate and analyse evidence and impact data from external sources, bringing expertise and practical support to the development of transformation initiatives, policy positions, and wider organisational strategy.
• Support the development of impact frameworks for our initiatives, supporting a systems level understanding of the transformation we seek, and at an organisational level.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to shape and scope the evaluation/learning required to inform our initiatives or those of our members.
• Ensure strategic alignment of evaluation and impact measurement between our initiatives and programmes.
• Analyse and synthesis data and information received from evaluations, grant reports, learning events and other activity to establish key insights
• Create reports and summary insight documents which capture and explain insights succinctly and in ways that help understand and share key insights, informing our policy and the development of future transformation activity.
• Develop sector benchmarking reports to evidence the impact of the sector and the organisation.
Stakeholder Management and External Engagement
• Assist in the design, tendering, mobilisation and management of external evaluators or external suppliers of learning & insight activity.

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and confident Support Specialist– Non-Malignant Brain Tumours to deliver the charity’s highly regarded coaching and information service for people living with a non-malignant brain tumour and their families.
This role is central to empowering individuals to feel informed, supported and in control of their lives following diagnosis. Working closely with the Head of Support and wider services team, you will provide tailored emotional and practical support through coaching, information sharing and community engagement.

The Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Support Specialist – Non-Malignant Brain Tumours to join our experienced and passionate team, delivering impartial, high-quality coaching and information to people living with a non-malignant brain tumour and their caregivers.
You will work directly with individuals and families via phone, email, online and face-to-face support, helping them navigate diagnosis, treatment, recovery and long-term wellbeing. You will also play an active role in growing and nurturing our supportive community through workshops, events and online engagement.
Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, giving you the confidence and skills to deliver a service that truly transforms lives.
In this role, you will:
- Provide one-to-one coaching, information and support to people living with non-malignant brain tumours and their caregivers

- Work within case management systems to triage and record support accurately and confidentially

About You
To be successful as a Support Specialist, you will be an empathetic communicator with strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for supporting people affected by serious illness.
You will bring:
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, online and face-to-face settings
- A calm, compassionate and reassuring approach when supporting people in difficult situations
- Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
- A high standard of written communication
- Confidence using digital tools such as MS Office, email and case management systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
- A commitment to learning, self-development and reflective practice
Experience of coaching, counselling, support work or patient-facing roles is highly desirable, though full training will be provided. A degree is not essential, but a qualification in caring or communication skills would be an advantage.

As part of the NFCC People Culture and Leadership (PCL) Hub this post plays a key role in supporting and enabling fire and rescue services (FRS) to drive organisational and culture change.
The postholder will use their subject matter knowledge, skills and experience alongside the principles of project management to support the design, development and implementation of a range of PCL products and services. Whilst the role supports all PCL activities, the role will have a focus on Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)-related projects, therefore experience in this area is particularly desirable. Moreover we require someone with relevant knowledge and experience in one or more fields of the people/HR/OD/EDI profession.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the NFCC’s PCL products and their benefits to FRS’s will be a key aspect of the role and the postholder will undertake a range of evaluation activities to identify improvements and make recommendations for improvement. They will be responsible for implementing agreed changes and maintaining PCL products to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.
Stakeholder engagement is a key element of the role by building effective relationships and establishing networks to improve the uptake/adoption of PCL products and drive culture change.
