About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Legacy professional with a good understanding of charity legacy administration, to assist Macmillan in receiving its rightful entitlements from gifts in supporters' wills in a timely manner, by collaborating with executors and other charities to maximize the value of each gift whilst also aiming to enhance the charity's reputation.

The postholder will manage a caseload of higher value, residuary, specific and trust gifts, ensuring executors, family, and friends have a positive experience with Macmillan as a beneficiary. Responsibilities include accurately recording data, creating valuations per the Charity Commission’s SORP 2019 and Macmillan’s Legacy Income Recognition Policy, and assessing any conditions on gift usage. Communication with executors and co-beneficiaries will occur via letters, emails, and phone calls. Additionally, you will gather stories to promote legacy giving and adhere to all data protection laws.
 

About you
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Understanding of Charity Legacy Administration and/or Estate Administration within private practice and/or have done electives in Probate as part of a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including a confident and welcoming telephone manner.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Knowledge of data protection law.
• Technology Skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We help women rebuild their lives through safe housing, access to essential services, and programmes focused on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team. 

Key Responsibilities

The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:

Beneficiary support

About the role
We are launching the 2025-2026 Macmillan Clinical Fellowship programme. This is an exciting new programme, key in the implementation of our new ambitious 2025-2030 strategy.

The MDT fellow will be based in Centre of Clinical Expertise and be part of the core strategic group looking at Variation in Treatment and Care. Cancer MDTs are well established in the NHS as a core part of cancer care but significant variation in impact and efficiency exists and the role of the patient voice is often not prominent enough. The fellow will work across the organisation and form influential external relationships to support Macmillan to work with Health Care Systems across the UK to improve MDT ways of working.

This role will be both beneficial to Macmillan in helping to improve the lives of people living with cancer, as well as provide the successful candidate with a potentially career changing opportunity. 

The fellow will be part of a highly motivated, inspirational and supportive team and be given mentorship support throughout the fellowship.

Shelter from the Storm run an emergency night shelter that looks after 24 men and 12 women all year round. The Waking Night Project Worker is a key role in supporting our guests throughout the night. 

About the shelter:

The night shelter opens everyday at 6pm and closes each morning at 8am. We provide dorm style accommodation - two rooms which each have 12 mens beds and one room containing 12 womens beds. On site we provide: a home cooked dinner every evening, a counselling service, move-on support, ESOL classes, laundry, showers, clothing, computers, activities, a breakfast each morning and sandwiches to take away. We are a low-needs, low-risk homeless shelter so do not work with people suffering from acute mental health problems or people with active drug or alcohol dependencies.

Job Description:

To be on shift from 9pm until 7am alongside a volunteer to ensure the safe running of Shelter from the Storm. The volunteer position is a ‘sleep in’ role meaning that long parts of the shift will be lone-working. Therefore a satisfactory DBS check is essential.

The WNPW will provide first contact, safeguarding and support to Shelter clients and an essential link to staff working during the day.

The post-holder will be responsible for controlling access to the building, dealing with emergencies, carrying out Health and Safety checks and communicating any concerns or events to the rest of the on-site team and/or on-call staff.

The WNPW will be familiar with SFTS safeguarding policies and guest agreements, demonstrating a non-judgemental attitude and an understanding of the issues faced by a vulnerable client group who may be experiencing complex issues. They will communicate any concerns with staff and make interventions to support a safe environment for clients, volunteers and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing waking night cover and being responsible for the safe running operation of the shelter.

• To maintain the safety and security of guests and volunteers alike, as well as the building.

• Be the first point of contact for guests during the night.

• Admitting guests arriving late at night and addressing their needs.

• To maintain a calm and relaxed environment during the shift.

• To provide a link to day-shift and communicate any concerns or casework updates to and from staff appropriately.

Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) is the leading provider of generalist advice services in Hammersmith and Fulham. We help approximately 18000 people each year with free, confidential, and impartial advice on a wide range of issues. 

Our Assessors are the first point of contact for anyone in the community that contacts us by phone or in person. The Assessor establishes what the issue is, ensures that all relevant information is collected, provides information and advice, and identifies the best next steps, ensuring clients are directed to the appropriate Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) advice project, or external agency.

Lawyers Service

• Providing high quality services to our lawyers including identifying and recommending appropriate medical experts to clinical negligence solicitors; maintaining and developing the medical expert database. Routinely considering the Experts’ Protocol and ensuring that it remains relevant and fit for purpose.

Inquest Service

• Assessing cases for eligibility for AvMA’s pro bono Inquest Service according to AvMA’s criteria.
• Preparing cases for the coroner’s court to include sorting medical records; liaising with bereaved families by phone and in writing; researching medical literature; taking and preparing initial statements; liaising with the Coroner’s officer; securing appropriate disclosure documents; instructing counsel; assisting with preparation of bundles of documents for the hearing. Identifying general and specific patient safety issues; considering need for Prevention of Future Death Reports and or Action Plans.
• Attendance at pre-inquest hearings and inquest hearings with counsel and the family. This may involve travel and overnight stays. Out-of-pocket expenses are paid. This involves helping people affected by medical accidents to obtain an understanding of what has happened to them, their rights and the most appropriate option(s) for resolving their concerns and meeting their needs including referrals to panel solicitors.

Helpline

• Providing advice and assistance to the public on AvMA’s specialist helpline. Training will be given and in due course assisting the Helpline Development Officer to train helpline volunteers.

The Role 

· Assertive outreach casework with very vulnerable women

· Responsible for supporting three women in the Borough of Camden

· Intensive support for complex needs with service users with a history of non-engagement with services

Accountabilities:

Casework

· Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage

· Provide emotional support using a trauma informed approach

Background:

Longfield Hall Trust (LHT) manages the historic Longfield Hall, offering a range of cultural experiences and classes for all ages. Our new Memory Café project aims to support dementia patients and their carers by providing a welcoming space for social and recreational activities. The Café will offer dementia friendly activities (including karaoke, bingo, arts/crafts and immersive theatre/dance shows) to empower dementia patients to enjoy regular social, cognitive and physical activities.

Alongside supporting patients, the Memory Café will create a highly supportive environment for carers. This will enable carers to take some 'time out' while remaining nearby in a safe space where both carers and patients can socialize more widely. Furthermore, the Café will provide access to information about relevant local services, ensuring comprehensive support for all attendees.

We are also providing a dementia care-worker who will support the Memory Café manager and enable us to support a broad range of dementia patients and their carers.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To manage the Memory Café service for people living with dementia and their carers.
• To coordinate and deliver a stimulating programme of weekly sessions of the Memory Café at Longfield Hall together with our collaborators/partners/external agencies.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience of customer service and be comfortable answering high volumes of volunteer enquiries on the phone or via email in a professional and friendly manner
• Excellent spoken and written skills to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of audiences.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• A positive and proactive mindset, coupled with a strong willingness to contribute and support the success of the project.

You may have experience in a busy customer service or call centre environment or experience in events or working on busy projects. You should have an interest in the charity or homelessness sector and a commitment to Crisis’ purpose and values.

About the role
We are launching the 2025-2026 Macmillan Clinical Fellowship programme. This is an exciting new programme, key in the implementation of our new ambitious 2025-2030 strategy.

The Older People's Clinical Fellow (Occupational Therapist) will be part of the Centre of Clinical Expertise and a member of the Cancer and Other Long Term Conditions Core Strategic group. The role will bring insight, expertise and the opportunity to collaborate to seek solutions, best practice and innovation. As part of this work there will be opportunity to deliver learning and development, conference presentations and media and communications activities such as academic publications, newsletters and web content development.

This role will be both beneficial to Macmillan in helping to improve the lives of people living with cancer, as well as provide the successful candidate with a potentially career changing opportunity. 

The fellow will be part of a highly motivated, inspirational and supportive team and be given mentorship support throughout the fellowship. 

This role is being recruited to as part of a cohort of clinical fellows from different disciplines and will have different areas of focus around Macmillan’s core strategic objectives allowing for peer support and learning:

About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

 The successful candidate will work closely with our Admin and Logistics Director, across a wide range of tasks and projects including;

· providing administrative support for meetings of the Instruments of Communion and other Inter-Anglican bodies

· supporting travel and logistics arrangements, acting as lead contact with the ACO’s travel agents 

· providing support to the IT Project Manager & Technical Consultant assisting staff with IT queries 

· providing support to the Facilities Manager, assisting with guesthouse bookings, procurement and health and safety requirements
