About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Partner to provide family leave cover until September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well established team, providing finance and business support to Heads of Department within our Communities and System Partnerships division, and their teams.
You will be monitoring the budget that the teams invest in grants that are awarded to the external partners with whom Macmillan works to support people living with cancer. This investment funds established roles such as Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialists and Macmillan Support Workers, as well as new, innovative ways to reach minority groups in the community or to lead whole system change for cancer care.
You will be working with the teams to accurately forecast their full year expenditure, maintain the latest view of their spend for the year and review the monthly management accounts to highlight and investigate variances.
You will work closely with a Senior Finance Business Partner and other Finance Partners mainly online and through occasional in person get-togethers. Wider Finance team meetings are held face to face quarterly in London.

- Previous experience in finance partnering
- Technical finance knowledge
- Business partnering skills – building and maintaining relationships and influencing across a variety of stakeholders
- Good Microsoft Excel skills with experience in financial analysis on large data sets

We have a rewarding opportunity to for four Positive Behaviour Support Workers (PBS) to join our new and expanding service supporting children, young people with autism and learning disabilities. This role would be supporting families across Manchester.
Working therapeutically within a person-centred PBS model the role will focus on enabling young people to access education, community activities and enabling families to have a better quality of life.
The service is based in Wythenshawe, Manchester however you will work across Manchester supporting several families.
Starting salary is £24,700 per annum (£12.67ph) based on working 37.5 hours per week.
Weekend shifts paid at 25% extra per hour
As a specialist service there is a comprehensive package of training and support either internally within the Trust’s Learning & Development Team or externally with our professional partners (which include social services and CAHMS).
The role includes:
- Travelling throughout the Manchester local authority area, you will visit a variety of settings that meets the young person’s needs.
- Provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people.
- Assist with the assessments of need and formulation of plans which includes working in partnership with other agencies.
- Maximise educational opportunities and achievements for the young people looked after within the unit by assisting in identifying, establishing, and supporting educational provision and contributing to educational reviews.
- Undertake individual work that is designed to meet the young person’s needs as identified within the care plan, enabling them to reach full their potential.
- Under close supervision take responsibility for key working a case load of families.

Immediate Support Coordinator (Somerset and Devon)
Reports to: Bereavement Services Manager for England

Context of Role
Our client supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. They provide immediate casework support, as well as ongoing services including counselling, complementary therapies, play therapy, coffee mornings, support events and a respite cottage.
As they continue to expand their services across England the successful candidate will play a central role in the ongoing development of their relationships with stakeholders. Initiative and drive play an integral part of ensuring their professional stakeholders remain engaged and champion their service to those they support. The post holder will provide immediate and ongoing emotional and practical support to families, friends, witnesses and professionals affected by the sudden death of a child or young adult.
Main Duties include:
- To initiate immediate support for a caseload of families whose children and young people aged 0-25 have died suddenly and unexpectedly across the county you reside in and bordering counties.
- Complete an initial assessment of families' needs to identify and plan the support as required in line with safeguarding and risk reduction.
- Offer emotional support and advice to a case load of families through home visits and ongoing weekly telephone calls.
- To liaise with the Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator, who is responsible for organising formal support such as counselling, complementary therapy or play therapy, subject to consent from the bereaved individual.
- To work with hospital staff, GP’s, police officers, coroner offices, mental health teams and other healthcare professionals to raise awareness of and promote referrals into the charity from the county you reside in and bordering counties.
- To deliver awareness training in hospitals and other healthcare settings, schools and workplaces on the use of the bereavement boxes, the services they offer, how to refer into the charity and bereavement awareness.
- To ensure families have been offered a memory box and coordinate these when required.
- Facilitate debriefs within professional settings following a traumatic or sudden death of a child or young person.
- To work with hospital trusts to establish and maintain the upkeep of suitable bereavement suites for bereaved individuals to use as required.
Experience:
- Experience of working in a health, social care or emergency setting.
- Experience of working with people in distress.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people, including families and/or children.
- Experience of managing a high case load with varying needs.
- Working within a multi-agency and legislative framework.
Knowledge:
- Have a good understanding of bereavement and the effects of grief on bereaved individuals and their families.
- Have a good understanding of child and adult protection issues and how to respond to safeguard effectively.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for sourcing practical goods and services in the region, applying for grants and benefits, as well as working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families that Rainbow Trust do not provide directly.
Having worked in a stressful or emotionally-demanding environment with an understanding of the complexities of working with children and families, you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and strong networks with other organisation to provide meaningful assistance to the families we support.

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.
The Stroke Support Coordinator will:
- Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Work alongside people affected by stroke with communication difficulties to plan and work towards recovery outcomes that are important to them, including secondary prevention needs.

About You
You will:

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
We are excited to be looking for a Young Adults Peer Support Worker. You will have your own lived experience of mental ill health and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge, to support others.
With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We will be offering holistic and personalised care and support to service users and carers.
This role will carry caseload and deliver a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed. Referrals could be young adults, careleavers, people currently under adult mental health services, or carers supporting people in the community.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery.
