Job Description
International Medical Corps UK is a global humanitarian organisation saving and rebuilding lives through healthcare, training and community development. International Medical Corps UK works alongside International Medical Corps and International Medical Corps Croatia, currently responding to humanitarian emergencies and communities afflicted by conflict, poverty and natural disaster in about 30 countries.
JOB SUMMARY: Ensure that assigned countries received effective day-to-day HQ support. Advocating for the needs of the assigned Countries needs within the organization and ensure that programme Officers effectively coordinate communications between all departments, including compliance, programming, logistics, legal, security, human resource and communication. Supervise, mentor and coach assigned Program Officers and Assistants. Develops and monitor staff performance targets with clear objectives and timelines
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deployment to the field to support in program or mission startup, staff coverage, and close out.
- Supervise the coordination of country strategy development
- Ensures the field programs team fulfill contractual obligations and commitments to beneficiaries and stakeholders for assigned countries
- Ensures that donors and internal reporting is submitted on time and in fulfilment of contractual obligations for the countries covered
- Ensures that established processes and procedures are followed by the Program Officers and flags issues as necessary to the Senior Manager

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically, a Bachelor's degree in related field + Project management certification + Significant relevant experience..
- Significant relevant experience managing, building, leading and developing a team of staff and field- based work experience in the sector.
- Experience implementing as a Senior Program Officer or in managerial role
- Experience in leading development of large-scale or strategic proposals, including the development of project budgets greater than $5 million
- Experience in implementing projects funded by US, UK, EU, Canadian, Australian, UN and other donor governments
- Experience of project and financial management in a multi-partner or multi-agency consortia
- Demonstrated experience of developing and managing relationships with donors
- Knowledge of Project cycle management
- Experience with Logical Framework project planning and design
- Proposal development skills
- Knowledge of major donors rules and regulations
- Experience in representing externally project information
- Financial and other data systems to produce budgets, analyze data and track trends

The Churchill Fellowship:
The Churchill Fellowship is a unique programme that empowers UK citizens to discover new solutions from around the world to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing communities in the UK. Each year, we fund over 100 Fellows to explore innovative ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge projects anywhere in the world that relate to the issues they care about most.
Purpose of the role:
The Head of Fellowship is responsible for the delivery of the Churchill Fellowship’s annual Fellowship Programme, overseeing all stages from pre-application support, through selection and award, to Fellows’ global learning. The role ensures processes are inclusive, transparent, and of the highest quality, embedding equity, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding at every stage.
Working closely with the Fellowship Director and senior leadership, the postholder supports applicants and Fellows with guidance and feedback, strengthens the Fellowship model, ensures it runs smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of Fellowship Programme:
- Lead on and manage the full Fellowship selection process, from pre-application to final award, ensuring alignment with TCF’s EDI values and strategic priorities.
- Continuously review and improve application and selection process, documentation, and candidate guidance.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to applicants at all stages of the selection process.
Overseas Learning:
- Oversee the support provided to Fellows during their overseas learning, working closely with the Fellowship Manager to ensure guidance and resources meet individual needs.
- Authorise Fellowship grant payments for overseas learning, ensuring compliance with Fellowship model guidelines and organisational policies.
Collaboration and Engagement
- Contribute to the design of new Fellowship programmes, led by the Engagement team, and lead on operationalising these programmes during the application cycle.
- Continue to develop your own knowledge to ensure applicants and Fellows receive high-quality support and guidance throughout the process.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of the Fellowship programme.
- Represent TCF at Fellow-led and other relevant sector events as appropriate.
Safeguarding, EDI, and Fellowship Model
- Act as a member of the Designated Safeguarding Team, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Lead on embedding EDI principles throughout the Fellowship model, working with the Chief Executive, Head of Activate and People and Culture Manager to ensure that accessibility, fairness and inclusivity are built into every stage of the process.
- Work with the Fellowship Director to continually enhance the candidate and panellist experience.
- Partner with the Salesforce team to ensure systems and processes support the successful programme delivery.
- Stay informed of sector trends, research, and innovative and equitable approaches to supporting individuals to learn and grow, applying learning to TCF’s work.
- Work with the Fellowship Manager and team to ensure risk assessments, insurance and safety plans for Fellows’ travel and events are proportionate, meet best practice and are compliant.
- Maintain awareness of global and societal trends that may impact Fellows’ safety and/or the design of the Fellowship model.
Leadership and Team Management
- Line manage the Fellowship Manager and Fellowship Officer, supporting their development and performance in delivering team and organisational objectives.
- Work closely with the Fellowship Director and Head of Activate to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive team culture, encouraging innovation, reflective practice and shared learning.
General
- Ensure all Fellowship programme activity complies with organisational policies, safeguarding requirements, GDPR, and data protection standards.
- Contribute to organisational initiatives and cross-team projects, supporting the wider strategic goals of The Churchill Fellowship.
- This role may occasionally require working outside standard hours, to support Fellowship interviews, events, or external engagements.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support the effective running of the Fellowship programme and the organisation.

Working for The Churchill Fellowship

Standard working hours are 36.5 hours a week, 9.30am until 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and from 9.30am until 4.00pm on Friday, including a paid lunch break of one hour.
We have embraced the benefits of working from home and at the same time, we value the contribution of face-to-face contact in building teamwork, collaborating with your colleagues, exchanging ideas and know-how, and for work efficiency. We therefore operate a hybrid working policy, where staff can work from home if they wish, however everyone is required to work in the office for a minimum of 4 to 6 days a month with Tuesdays as the core day for regular whole team meetings and Thursday as an additional core day for Senior Leaders.

About St Giles Trust
An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes and the right support they need. Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
County Lines is a phenomenon in which criminal drug dealing operations are expanding their operations outside of the larger cities, taking over drug markets in smaller towns. Gangs target vulnerable children and young people and coerce them to transport and distribute mainly Class A drugs into areas where there is less police presence, less competition and high demand for their product.
About this exciting opportunity
This pivotal role will see you referring clients, with reference to St Giles Trust/Rescue and Response assessment practices. You will also need to produce support plans and risk management and planning process, and to include appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service.
You will also deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues, which will include providing social and housing support, education, training and employment options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional agencies including police and social services is a key aspect of the role.
What we are looking for:
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
- Experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
- Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and communicating effectively, the needs of clients to other professionals
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office, and the ability to work with a case database
- The ability to use and develop monitoring systems to record all aspects of the project
- Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding practices and policies, and ability to promote safeguarding among vulnerable clients and colleagues.

The Data & Research Manager plays a key role in Youth Futures Foundation’s Impact and Evidence team, helping us understand and address youth unemployment in England.
The postholder will lead on managing our data infrastructure including our flagship youth labour market dashboard and contribute to the design, commissioning, and delivery of high-quality quantitative research and analysis.

Role overview
An exciting opportunity for a creative and highly motivated candidate with strong technical expertise to help increase Global Canopy's impact by making world-leading environmental and financial data more accessible to our key audiences in the finance sector, business and civil society.
The role will focus on the DEFT Pathway and related products. DEFT is a transparent, easy-to-use framework that maps out practical steps for companies to transition to deforestation-free supply chains. Hosted by best-in-class data platform Forest IQ, DEFT Pathway helps financial institutions to engage effectively with companies on deforestation.
A key objective is to make the DEFT Pathway data accessible by building user-friendly frontend components. The data is complex and multi-dimensional and will require considerable creativity to communicate in an understandable and compelling way in order to maximise its impact. You will collaborate with designers, researchers and product managers to fulfill these aims.
As a full stack developer, you will also design and implement the backend to allow the data powering the visualisations to be accessed in a secure way. You will work with data engineers and researchers to ensure the database is well-structured and that queries are performant.
The tech team is small, so you will need to operate with a high degree of independence, and will have the opportunity to influence key technical decisions. We are looking for someone who finds this prospect exciting rather than daunting!
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most:
- Excellent full stack web development skills, ideally using python and typescript
- Knowledge of python frameworks for the backend, such as FastAPI, Flask and/or Django
- Knowledge of javascript frameworks for the frontend (preferably React/Next.js), and common data visualisation libraries such as d3
- Experience querying PostgreSQL databases, potentially using SQLAlchemy as an ORM
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
Essential behavioural competencies:
- Self-starter, happy working in a small team with a large degree of independence

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Retail Assistant to join our team at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

About the role
Your key purpose will be, in the absence of the manager or assistant manager, to lead a team of volunteers to maximise sales, deliver excellent customer service and ensure that the shop premises and assets are maintained to a high standard, according to legal requirements and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices (SSCH) policies and procedures.
About you
This role requires experience in retail or charity retail as an employee or longstanding volunteer. You will also need administrative/cash handling experience
You will also have an ability to deal with customers and maintaining a high level of customer service, have good verbal, written communication skills, as well as being comfortable using IT and EPOS reporting. You will have an ability to motivate yourself and others, have excellent organisational skills and be comfortable working under pressure and dealing with changing priorities. You will be a car owner/driver
You will also have an ability to be a self starter with the ability to work independently and take the initiative whilst knowing when to delegate jobs to others within the team. You will be
organised and methodical and able to multi-task and work well in a team and on your own initiative. You are able to build good relationships with others and flexible and willing to undertake varied responsibilities as part of a team
