Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting an In Work Employment Support Specialist to join our In Work Service based in Tower Hamlets. This role focuses on supporting people to remain in employment and supporting employers to retain staff who are experiencing mental health challenges.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would manage a caseload of clients who are currently in work and have mental health support needs. Your role would focus on helping people remain in their jobs, build confidence at work, and address challenges early before they escalate.

You would work directly with employees to understand their needs, strengths, and workplace challenges. Where appropriate, you would engage with employers to explore reasonable adjustments, communication strategies, and practical solutions that support retention. This requires confidence, professionalism, and a solution-focused approach when working with both individuals and organisations.

In cases where a return to the current role or employer is not possible, you would support clients to explore alternative outcomes. This may include securing alternative employment or working towards a settlement agreement in a supportive and informed way.

You would deliver support using a person-centred and strengths-based approach, while maintaining accurate records and working to agreed outcomes. You would also collaborate with referring teams and other professionals to ensure coordinated, client-led support.

The role is part-time, working 21 hours per week, including one late evening to ensure accessibility for people who cannot meet during working hours. You would be based in Tower Hamlets two days per week, attend meetings with employers across London, and have the option to work from home one days per week.

What you’ll need

Experience of in-work or retention support is not required. However, we are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in employment support or a related role.

• A strong interest in mental health and its impact in the workplace.

• Confidence engaging with employers and discussing sensitive workplace issues.

• Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

• A genuine desire to help people stay in work and support employers to retain staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Ri’s YouTube channels, developing a deep knowledge of YouTube’s platforms and algorithm, scheduling video content to maximising channel growth, audience engagement and video revenue through YouTube monetisation
• Manage the Ri’s YouTube membership programme, posting regular member updates, monitoring churn, and generally developing the product to provide a consistent and growing income stream
• Manage the Ri’s website platform and, in conjunction with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications, develop a road map for future improvements to ensure all website developments are audience-focused and strategically aligned
• With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the day-to-day relationships with our website agency and other digital suppliers, including our YouTube partner manager, as well as discrete digital projects, to ensure our website, YouTube channel, and other digital platforms continue to grow and maintain a high level of quality for our users.
• With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the Ri’s programme of public and commercial filming – including YouTube films, livestreams and partner content – to ensure accessibility of high-quality science content for Ri audiences
• Line manage the Ri’s Video and Multi-media Producers and contribute to the senior leadership of the Digital and Marketing Team
• Lead on and implement the Ri’s website content strategy and calendar to manage, develop, create and promote user-focused content
• With the support of the Senior Marketing Manager, work with the Social Media Manager to ensure the Ri’s website content supports our mission and provides optimal and meaningful user journeys across our digital platforms
• Manage a cross-departmental group of website content creators from across the Ri to ensure the Ri’s digital content is accurate, user-focused and consistent in style and tone of voice
• Work with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications to create and commission systems for monitoring, reporting and evaluating the Ri’s digital work to enable strategic, evidence-based and audience-focused decision making across the organisation
• Horizon scan for the latest trends and developments in digital media to help ensure that the Ri retains its place at the leading-edge of digital innovation in science communication

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Experience in digital product management

We are looking for someone to join us for a maternity cover contract from February 2026 to March 2027.  In our London Office vet team as our Veterinary Nurse Manager overseeing and supporting our vet nurse teams across the organisation.  

What does this role do?

As a Veterinary nurse manager you will,
 

• Lead and manage including making any required changes to  the SAS and VSF funding schemes, supporting the team to manage their workload.
• Oversee the invoice management for payments relating to these schemes and liaising with the Head of Finance.
• Support the Senior Vet Nurses in managing the Emergency Trust Fund (ETF) and any exceptional funding agreed for veterinary care of dogs.
• Provide professional support to the veterinary nursing teams working within the rehoming centres supporting their individual professional development as well as the functions of the vet suites. 
• Oversee patient safety and continual improvement across all vet nurse teams.
• Liaise with wider DT departments (Operations, Communications and Customer Support Centre) to manage escalated complaints which may include difficult or sensitive situations.
•  Represent the clinical veterinary team in cross organisational projects as well as undertake project management work that aligns with our strategy.

As the on-site first aider and fire marshal, you’ll protect the wellbeing of our residents and staff. From conducting regular patrols to responding swiftly in emergencies, you’ll help maintain a safe and calm environment throughout the night.

Bringing hope and help to the homeless.

Robes is a small but mighty charity tackling homelessness across Southwark and Lambeth. Working with over 600 volunteers, churches and community partners, we deliver life-changing services to vulnerable people on the streets.

In winter, we run emergency night shelters. Year-round, our Wednesday Club offers hot meals, showers and support. We provide up to six months of floating support to help guests secure sustainable accommodation and find employment or training.

We've generated around £1.9 million from private sector funding over seven years – evidence of genuine impact and donor confidence. Now we're entering an exciting growth phase. About You

You're an experienced Fundraiser with a track record securing grants and managing relationships with trusts, foundations and major donors. You're strategic and thorough – you understand relationship-building, can write compelling applications, and articulate impact clearly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven success in corporate and charitable trust fundraising, with a strong understanding of funder and donor expectations and a track record of effectively meeting them.
• Experience managing fundraising pipelines and meeting income targets.
• Strong relationship-building and stewardship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to engage and build relationships with stakeholders and partners at the highest level.
• A keen eye for detail and ability to analyse complex data and research findings to extrapolate key messages to craft compelling cases for support or to communicate the impact of interventions.
• The ability to present complex information in the most appropriate format tailored to the specific audience.

The Role

You'll lead fundraising strategy across multiple income streams, focusing on trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships and major donors. You'll manage the full fundraising cycle from research and relationship-building through stewardship.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll execute our new fundraising strategy, support our growth plans, research funding opportunities, write strong grant applications, manage a pipeline of major donor prospects, plan our 20th anniversary campaign, and provide quarterly progress reports.

With three days a week focused on foundation and corporate partnerships work, a full-time role would typically include one day on legacy work and one day on community events.

You bring at least three years' fundraising experience, ideally in a charity setting. You're skilled at grant writing, relationship management and strategic planning. You have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You're proactive, flexible and genuinely motivated by mission.

This post offers an exceptional opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity driving innovation across primary care, youth work and mental health. Working in partnership with King’s College London’s CAMHS Digital Lab and local stakeholders across the four South London and Maudsley (SLaM) boroughs, you will shape and deliver a programme that reimagines adolescent health support.

The Programme Manager will oversee strategic development and delivery at The Well Centre Charity, which is leading the spread and scale of the Well Centre model. You will lead the design, mobilisation and implementation of this new, three year initiative — focused on co-producing new services, strengthening existing provision and embedding a more integrated, youth friendly approach to health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of this £1m Maudsley funded programme

• Develop and oversee a clear mobilisation and delivery plan

• Identify and manage risks, track milestones and maintain programme momentum

• Liaise with partners and interest holders across Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon and Lewisham

• Report to funders and ensure delivery to time, quality and within budget

• Represent The Well Centre Charity externally, leading steering groups, workshops and engagement events

• Develop and lead a communications and engagement strategy

• Implement systems to monitor activity across all four boroughs

• Prepare briefings for the core team, programme steering group, funders and wider partners

• Build strategic relationships to support service transformation for young people

About you

• Ability to chair meetings with clinicians and senior managers

• Masters degree or experience to equivalent level
