Regional Youth and Community Director
OASIS UK – Youth and Community (OCP)

Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;

- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)

- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)

- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)

With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:

1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams

2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family

3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team

The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. This responsibility area falls into two categories; those the Director is directly responsible for, and those they are responsible for ensuring are carried out by those within their region.

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Project Administrator to support the smooth running of the charity’s flexible workforce model, ensuring efficient recruitment, onboarding, and staffing coordination across national services.

About the Role
As HR Project Admin (Flexible Workforce), you will play a key role in supporting the national flexible staffing model. You’ll be responsible for coordinating temporary worker recruitment, managing workforce records, and helping ensure compliance across all casual staffing processes. Working closely with hiring managers, external agencies and the HR and Finance teams, your work will help ensure effective and cost-conscious staffing across services.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a major operational transformation project, gain exposure to senior leaders, and develop valuable HR and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Support recruitment and onboarding of bank and agency staff, including compliance and document checks

· Coordinate and monitor the use of the workforce system (CentralAxis), ensuring managers and workers are fully trained

· Maintain accurate and confidential workforce records in line with GDPR and data protection standards

· Support budget monitoring and reporting on staffing ratios, costs, and agency usage

· Help prepare reports, dashboards and presentations on flexible workforce activity

· Resolve staffing issues including absence, rota conflicts and performance concerns, escalating as needed

· Provide general admin support to the HR and project teams, including scheduling meetings, organising files, and minuting key sessions

· Has experience supporting HR or recruitment processes

About Us

Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. In this project we will work closely with artists, businesses, schools and members of the public. We are looking for a fundraiser to help us deliver the project, working within and alongside our fundraising and marketing team.

About the job

As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. A big part of your job will be building strong relationships with schools and community groups, encouraging them to get involved and supporting them in their fundraising efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. You will be within the Fundraising and Marketing team at Amaze, which currently has 4 members of staff, led by the Head of Fundraising and Marketing. You will be a mix of office and home-based, with some days at events and activities within Brighton & Hove.

The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.

You will be joining us at our busiest time, and will have day to day logistical and administration responsibilities with focus on supporting applicants through the selection stages of our programme, Approach Social Work.

The Healthier Lifestyle team at Age UK Croydon offers a range of inclusive and accessible activities and events across the borough of Croydon combining exercise, and social engagement in a variety of local settings.  These sessions help reduce isolation, improve independence, prevent falls, increase fitness levels and manage health conditions.  They also provide social engagement and interaction, information and support around living with dementia, a safe and welcoming space for all to engage and relax.

In this role, you will be the face of our friendly and passionate Supporter Engagement Team. You will have the opportunity to support in creating and launching exciting new fundraising products, attend a wide variety of events and add your voice by reviewing current processes which will benefit our fundraisers.

You will work closely with our network of 12 home-based Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs) as well as our Sporting Events and Corporate Teams. You will be the first point of contact for the majority of our supporters and will offer first-class stewardship to ensure our fundraisers feel well-supported before, during and after their amazing adventures.

You will provide crucial administrative support to the RFOs and all teams in Supporter Led Fundraising (Sporting Events, Corporate, and Marketing and Engagement). Support will include adding accurate details to our database, coding gifts tracking and monitoring income, responsibility for online donation platforms and virtual fundraising as well as general administrative duties in the office.

This role will be known internally as Fundraising Executive*

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Be the positive, passionate face and first point of contact for the Supporter Led Fundraising (SLF) team.

· Build first-class and long-term relationships through telephone calls and emails with our supporters to ensure they have the best fundraising experience at Alzheimer’s Research UK.

· Provide central stewardship support to a remote-based team of Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs) to ensure effective delivery of the SLF strategy and budget.

· Provide administrative support for the whole of the SLF team, primarily to the home-based RFOs.

· Support the Sporting Events Team with recruitment and stewardship of events. 

· Work with our Corporate Teams to effectively steward our partner companies.

· Ensure consistent cross-working to identify potential opportunities in current and prospective supporters for long lasting relationships across all teams.

· As one of the key fundraising contacts, keep the managers and team up to date with supporter feedback.

· Provide central communications within the organisation on behalf of the team, updating them on upcoming events and projects.

· Attend a variety of events to engage with and cheer on supporters including golf days, regional events and sporting events.

Administrative Support

· Process material requests from fundraising supporters, offering appropriate support while considering charity cost.

· Provide support on fundraising email inboxes e.g. skydive inbox and Walk For a Cure

· Provide further support to the RFOs where necessary including mass printing, franking, booking couriers and personalising thank you letters and certificates.

· Provide additional support on Ad Hoc campaigns such as Facebook challenges.

· Ensure clear, consistent and up to date fundraising data management including adding new constituents to the fundraising database, accurately recording and maintaining supporter details, monitoring and tracking supporter income and making sure supporters are appropriately thanked in a timely manner.

· Support with social media and website updates including virtual fundraising challenges.

· Provide data support to the Senior Officer.

· Ensure all communications are in line with GDPR policies.

· Become the Central coordinator for SLF-wide activities and procedures, e.g. skydives, contactless machines and invoice processing.
 

Spotting Potential

· As the central point of contact for the SLF team, you will effectively and consistently spot opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community and flag these to the relevant members of the team.

· Identify and research potential community group and business partnerships for SLF teams.

· Use data reports to spot fundraising trends and identify opportunities.

· Help spot opportunities and contact supporters as part of our re-engagement process to encourage repeat fundraising.

· Effectively communicate ARUK’s legacy messages to supporters via telephone and in writing.

Collaboration

· Build strong relationships with teams across the organisation in order to work collaboratively, allowing you to offer the best stewardship journey to our supporters.

· Work with our Supporters and Families Team by sharing fundraiser stories to maximise potential publicity.

· Work closely with teams such as Science Communications, Digital and Design to help create appropriate stewardship journey assets for the whole of SLF.

· Liaise with our Supporter Care team to ensure processes are in-line across the organisation.

· Become involved in a Community Fundraising Project Group, adding creative insight and performing administrative and relationship-building duties based on one of our key fundraising areas.

You would be joining a small, committed team of staff who are passionate about creating more inclusive and accessible communities in Bromley and beyond to enable Deaf and Disabled people to participate fully in society and realise our rights.

As Youth Transition Worker, you will be working with young Disabled people in schools/colleges and the local community to support them to navigate the transition to adulthood. You will lead on co-producing workshops and events with young Disabled people to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to make this transition successfully.

Location: You will be based in our office in Anerley. During term time, you will be visiting four Bromley schools weekly. In addition, you will need to be able to travel to other Bromley venues as required and occasionally further afield. Some hybrid working may be possible in this role in consultation with your line manager.

Hours: 28 hours per week

Salary: £29,300 per year pro rata to 28 hours per week (35 hours FTE)

Annual leave: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays, pro rata

• Develop connections with other youth organisations to organise workshops in school holidays that appeal to young Disabled people.
• Promote our free membership and volunteering opportunities to young Disabled people.
• Develop the skills of young Disabled people so they can take up positions on our Trustee Board.  
• Support young Disabled people to regularly evaluate the project and ensure that this data is updated on our database in a timely manner.

• You have personal lived experience of being Deaf and/or Disabled.
• You have experience of working with young people with a diverse range of needs to build their confidence and resilience.
• You can show empathy with young people and an understanding of their needs, empowering them to overcome barriers to reach their potential.

• You have strong organisational and time management skills, including being able to problem-solve, show initiative, meet targets and plan and prioritise your workload.

• You are willing and able to travel frequently across Bromley to schools/colleges and local community venues.

We are looking for someone to take an active lead in setting up the new Shed and working with our wider staff team and volunteers. You will be able to promote the project to encourage participation by giving talks, arranging taster sessions and using social media. You will also arrange short courses and training sessions and ensure new participants are briefed on health and safety. You will have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working a part of a team.

Role - Zero Hours Children's Resource Worker

Hours - variable and inconsistent including evenings and weekends

Location - Applicants must be based in the South Wales area to be able to cover carers and children support within Llanelli in the west to Monmouthshire in the East and up towards Brecon area.

TACT Wales are looking for a children's resource worker to collaborate with them to support foster children and carers in the region. The ideal Children's Resource Worker will already have some experience in engagement and participation with vulnerable young people, care experienced children or have similar experience in child-facing settings. High level of flexibility required to cover weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Occasionally may be required to support with overnight residentials and night support within the foster home. Car driver and owning a car is essential. There will be opportunities for training and development for this role, as new workers join us at our organisation wide journey to become a fully trauma-informed organisation. The successful candidate will undertake essential  duties that will impact positively on the long-term outcomes for the young people and children in our care.
