As Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the programme, keeping activity planned, information up to date and communication clear across teams, participants, volunteers and partners. You will help maintain the programme prospectus, manage enquiries, track engagement and outcomes, and support participants to move between opportunities in a way that feels joined up and meaningful. You will also help build relationships with colleges, employers, training providers and community organisations, opening up new routes for people to build skills, confidence and independence.

Here for You provides people diagnosed with breast cancer personalised and timely access to all of Breast Cancer Now’s trusted information and specialist support via a single healthcare professional referral.

You’ll build and enhance the relationships we have with NHS Trusts and healthcare professionals so that the referral route to Breast Cancer Now is integrated into their processes and procedures. You’ll also work with colleagues across the support and influencing directorate, as well as contributing to our monthly reporting.

Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO-London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. What the job involves

The Education Team at Prostate Cancer UK delivers high-quality education for health professionals involved in prostate cancer care, supporting their development through face to face and online engagement, regular clinical updates and collaborative work across the organisation. We also partner with teams and external stakeholders to help increase engagement and reach, ensuring healthcare professionals feel informed, connected and equipped to support men and their families.

As an Education Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making this happen. You’ll help organise and deliver healthcare professional education events and conferences across the UK, working closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also provide support to our digital communications, helping to build our marketing emails, healthcare professionals webpages and social media, so our work reaches the right audience.

Alongside this, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support to the team. This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing inbox enquiries, arranging travel, handling financial processes and keeping our systems and processes up to date. You’ll also help track and report on our impact, and lead on projects like the People’s Choice Award. It’s a varied role where you’ll work flexibly across teams, contributing to meaningful work that improves care for people affected by prostate cancer.

What we want from you

We’re looking for an Education Coordinator who is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, using their initiative to keep work moving forward. You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a good eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across your work.

You’ll be comfortable working with systems and processes, including maintaining spreadsheets, monitoring data and supporting financial activities. Experience of using digital communication channels such as social media or email newsletters is helpful but not essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers. You’ll be able to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities where needed.

An interest in supporting healthcare professionals and improving outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer is important for this role. Experience in, or understanding of, the health or voluntary sector would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

The Role

Working with a caseload of clients with varied mental health challenges, this role involves helping them develop their potential through 1-1 advice and support sessions, and supporting them to engage with an extensive range of activities and groups available to clients on the Community Connections Service. About You

Qualifications and experience

• A minimum of 2 years community experience of mental health and wellbeing, and/or a qualification in appropriate subject i.e., counselling, psychology, social work, mental health, Health and Social Care (level 3)

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (statutory and voluntary)
• An understanding of confidentiality, consent, information sharing, including GDPR
• An understanding of Safeguarding policy and practice

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Coordinator support the development and progression of philanthropy and partnership activity across trusts & foundations, corporate partners, and high‑value philanthropic audiences in the UK. The role is focused on coordination, preparation, prospects research, and pipeline support, enabling effective relationship management and timely progression of opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and support a targeted portfolio of trusts & foundations, corporate, and philanthropic prospects, assisting with qualification, cultivation, and stewardship activity.
• Support the preparation and submission of trusts & foundations applications, including coordinating inputs, drafting supporting materials, and managing timelines and follow‑up.
• Support donor and partner engagement through effective briefing, scheduling, meeting preparation, follow‑up, and moves management.
• Act as a coordination point between UK, Global Philanthropy, Programs, and Business Development teams to align inputs, streamline processes, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM and pipeline records, ensuring donor intelligence, engagement activity, and stage progression are consistently recorded.
• Supporting prospect research and developing profiles when required.
• Support reporting and insight generation, including pipeline tracking, income forecasting inputs, and progress summaries to inform prioritisation and decision‑making 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experience supporting or coordinating fundraising, philanthropy, or relationship-based income generation within a charity or comparable environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information and data to support decision-making and insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional-level briefs and materials.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Exposure to fundraising, particularly in major gifts, trusts and foundations, and/or corporate partnerships.

Purpose of the Job

Physical health and mental health are inextricably linked. The purpose of this role is to support people who have significant mental health issues and those from diverse ethnic backgrounds who may face barriers in accessing physical health checks. The role will provide longer term support in some cases, so people can address some of the barriers which might be in the way for them to consider their physical health positively. The roles will provide a service across Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow.

The role will be delivered within Primary Care and therefore you will be expected to build relationships within those settings and with community VCSE organisations to ensure that the service supports people within their own communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Get to know and build relationships with staff within Primary Care to enable a supportive and productive referral route into and out of the service.
• Work within communities and Primary Care to find out what services are available for people to access.
• Build relationships with staff in Primary Care, VCSE organisations, local communities that don’t access services and local community health teams.
• Build relationships with those who are accessing the service and work in a person-centred way to find out their needs. Particularly working to engage people from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
• Build an accessible route into the service for people which will lead to an increase in physical health checks and longer-term support if needed.
• Be inclusive and make reasonable adjustments where necessary, i.e., interpreters, Easy Read literature, disability accessible buildings for meetings, etc.
• Conduct basic physical health checks following robust training from health professionals.
• Support people in connecting to other services both VCSE and Primary Care.
• Alert Primary Care staff and the local authority/mental health teams if there are any concerns that have not already been identified.
• Signpost and refer clients to other services during and after the intervention.
• Promote health education and the service across the borough.
• Input monitoring information to the Service Manager.
