This is an exciting role supporting the Supporter Experience team in delivering an extensive portfolio of campaign selections and supporter journeys across the NSPCC. The team, which sits within the Communications division, is responsible for managing communications with warm supporters. The team works with Campaign Managers to use data effectively in supporter communications, ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience of the NSPCC.
This role will be responsible for planning and delivering supporter journeys and data selections for NSPCC campaigns, based on briefs developed with Campaign Managers and internal teams. This will primarily use FastStats, PeopleStage and Adestra, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
The successful candidate will have experience of mailing selections and automated journey creation, as well as an understanding of how data can be applied to create complex and tailored supporter journeys using dynamic content, journey logic, personalisation and reporting. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in developing and maintaining working relationships across various teams.

This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. For the right person, though, there will be considerable flexibility about how the duties are fulfilled in the longer-term. The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. - Assist in providing financial training and support to BIF staff, promoting understanding of financial policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment of financial procedures and support the Finance Director in strategic financial planning.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in financial operations, preferably within a charity or NGO setting.
- Preferably progressing towards/has recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW)
- Understanding of UK financial regulations and tax laws, with specific knowledge of VAT and GiftAid advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with both finance and non-finance colleagues.

The Major Gifts Stewardship Assistant is responsible for an existing portfolio of approximately 150+ individual, trust, and corporate donor relationships. Main responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the current portfolio of donors.
· Uplifting donors to give at higher levels, where possible.
· Supporting the trusts and foundations of new business processes through research and outreach.

Job Purpose:
To be an integral part of the Philanthropy team, providing stewardship to individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate supporters (typically, yet not exclusively, at the £5,000 to £20,000 level). You will be responsible for a portfolio of major donors, ensuring their continued support of MSF.

Essential:
• Excellent and engaging written communication skills and ability to adapt style to suit a wide range of supporters.
• Confident interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including diplomacy and negotiating skills.

• Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• Proven organisational skills with experience of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
• Experience of working in an office environment, maintaining effective administrative systems and procedures.
• Flexible, can-do attitude and good team player – this role involves working very closely and collaboratively with colleagues in the UK and overseas.

• Computer literate and confident in using all Microsoft Office programs.
