  You will place our supporters at the heart of everything you do by creating personalised and thoughtful solutions to deliver a first-class supporter experience.

• Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.

• Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  
   
• Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.

This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in the stated region (or close to the area) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across the region to meet with supporter’s face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region. 

There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together. 

There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Overall Purpose of the Trusts & Foundations Manager

The Trusts and Foundations Manager is an exciting new role and will join our small but expanding Guts UK fundraising team.  Trusts and Foundations is a relatively new income stream for us, with real potential.  

• You will be responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing, engagement and stewardship while retaining key relationships with trust and foundations in line with Guts UK’s strategic framework.   

• You will proactively lead on identifying and progressing opportunities, developing and stewarding relationships, thinking creatively and strategically to develop compelling proposals.   

• You will work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager and CEO as we establish, develop, and retain these valued relationships.

The role

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote the work of Family Fund and maintain a positive profile within the disability sector in Northern Ireland and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will undertake a range of public affairs and policy activities that help sustain and grow our government funding and that secure positive outcomes for disabled children and their families. You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

You will also identify growth/income opportunities and feed through to relevant internal teams, providing follow up support, as required.

With at least two years’ management experience within a finance function, the Finance Manager is required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with all areas of the business to ensure accurate processes are in place including the sharing of data through manual or automated integration.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. Client involvement is at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing our involvement with clients and the communities we work alongside, to give them influence, a voice and control in how we provide our services across the organisation.

We are also just as passionate about our volunteers. Part of this role will develop and enhance our work with volunteers, peer mentoring and student placements to maximise the impact of volunteering across our services, enhancing the support we deliver.

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract. Maternity cover

Hours: Between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week. This post requires a minimum 30% of the time face to face.

Salary: £42,322 - £47,949 per annum (pro rata for part time), dependent on experience

Location: Based in one of our main offices across our areas of operation (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes) with flexibility to travel between offices and work from home.

The Support Services Co-ordinator provides the key interface between those looking for support and the resources at Lupus UK. 

This is a new role. We have identified the need for a specialist role leading on the delivery and development of our support services, including recruiting and training volunteers to deliver those services. The aim for this role is to create a fully responsive support service for the UK wide lupus community.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.

This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Develop and manage relationships with Resurgo’s major donors, asking for financial support at the right time.
• Create individual engagement and stewardship plans for existing major donors and new prospects, including in-person meetings, written updates and reports.
• Help to develop the mid-level giving programme by creating a stewardship plan and tailored written communication.

Prospects

• Develop and implement the prospecting strategy, attending networking 
  events, asking for introductions and being confident using LinkedIn to 
  look for new opportunities, identifying, researching and contacting 
  potential supporters.
• Work with the corporate teams to cross-sell opportunities; identify and 
  further engage high level individuals within businesses and vice versa. 

Events

• Assist with the planning and delivery of a variety of fundraising events, 
  working closely with the impact, communications and finance teams to 
  generate strong results.
• Help to develop and deliver new strategic events to further engage 
  major and mid-level donors with Resurgo’s work.

Financial Management

• Help to monitor the major donor pipeline, regularly reporting on income and progress against targets and help with financial management using a CRM (Salesforce).

As a key member of the newly formed Programme Delivery Team, you will contribute to the growth, reach, and impact of Leadership Skills Foundation programmes among underserved and under-represented individuals and communities. Your work will play a vital role in benefiting thousands of young people across the UK.

We are looking for an energetic and innovative relationship-builder who can establish and manage partnerships with local community groups across England.  Through strong relationship management, you will play a key role in identifying learnings through the programmes delivery and will be confident to use the learnings to influence future strategy and delivery plans.

The role requires someone who is excited by the challenge of trying new things and working differently through a test and learn approach.  You will need to be comfortable working collaboratively as well as independently and want to pro-actively lead on making a positive social difference to the individuals and groups benefitting from our programmes.

The role will initially be a fixed term contract (to July 2027) but we aim to secure further funding for the role to extend. 

Main duties and responsibilities

Responsible for co-ordinating, engaging and managing multiple local community organisations across c. 5-7 locations in England to deliver leadership programmes with identified target audiences, groups and individuals.

Design, develop and manage a delivery plan for the Programme, which engages key stakeholders, and is based on the principles of co-creation, trust and flexibility.

Support identified stakeholders to test adapted leadership skill programmes and learn from the delivery to inform future delivery.

Through learnings from local delivery partners and working with research colleagues, develop a shared understanding of the needs and barriers young people in underserved communities face in accessing leadership skill development and volunteering opportunities.

Work with colleagues in the Innovation team to provide support to local delivery partners to address and overcome these barriers to engage the target audiences.

Deliver training, support and orientation to local delivery partners

Work with the Programme Research Manager to establish a delivery feedback loop to inform the development of learning resources and programmes to overcome the needs and barriers young people in underserved communities face. 

Provide opportunities for the research plan, developed by the Programme Delivery Research Team, to be implemented to drive the improvement of strategic, business and operational planning and delivery.

Provide connectivity between your work/engagement with delivery centres and the work of the Business and Market Development Teams. 

Work with the Programme Research Manager to capture and share best practice to support the wider adoption across community and partner networks.
