• A market rate salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports around 3,600 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 170 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

The Benefits Service within SEL Mind is a well-established offer of support to clients who need to access welfare benefits they are entitled to receive.

The service currently operates across Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich, delivered in partnership with local NHS. We are looking for a Welfare Benefits Specialist in Bromley to support clients to access the benefits they are entitled to. We are looking for someone with significant experience of working within welfare benefits in either a paid or voluntary capacity. Ideally, this will include providing representation at appeals and giving advice on complex entitlement issues. A strong understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems is also essential to this role.

The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager is a newly created role in our Fundraising team. They will be responsible for managing the charity’s CRM (Salesforce) and working with colleagues across the team, and wider organisation, to ensure the smooth operational delivery of fundraising processes and activities.

The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager will provide data and donor insights to help identify trends and opportunities that contribute to shaping fundraising campaigns and enhance our stewardship. 

Key responsibilities include:

Active Communities Development Worker

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, 12 months fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal

Salford CVS (Community and Voluntary Services) is the city-wide infrastructure service for the VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector. We support almost 1,000 VCSE groups and organisations in Salford, with 7,000 paid staff and 62,000 volunteers between them. Dividing your time between our volunteering and emergency response activities, you will assist us in building active, connected and resilient communities within Salford. In particular, you will go the extra mile to develop local capacity to address civil contingencies ranging from major incidents to extreme weather as you:

• Reach out to, engage and train community response volunteers.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new projects and initiatives.
• Connect with local authority, health, police and housing partners.
• Embed learning trends and best practice across our volunteering work.
• Lead a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise group within the Salford Local Resilience Forum.

To be equal to this high-profile challenge, you will require:

• Experience of working with volunteers, ideally embracing recruitment, training and management.
• Familiarity with building relationships within the VCSE sector.
• A proven record of developing productive partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Expertise in organising and facilitating high-level meetings and forums.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Broad knowledge of civil contingencies and community resilience.
• A flexible approach to hours and responsibilities.

Corporate Partnerships Development Manager FT £40,000 remote

We're looking for a strategic and energetic Corporate Partnerships Development Manager to grow our corporate income at GFS. You'll develop existing and secure new long-term, values-aligned partnerships, lead on employee fundraising and challenge events, and shape our annual fundraising campaigns including International Day of the Girl and International Women's Day.
