Pure Insight supports young people leaving care aged 16 – 28. Our wraparound offer of services supports young people to develop the skills and confidence to take control of their lives, feel connected and develop a sense of belonging in their community. Over the past 11 years we have grown our services in Stockport, Salford, Cheshire East, Warrington and Halton, and are proud to have developed nationally recognised best practice programmes alongside young care leavers. Young People are at the heart of what we do, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team on a new project overseen by national partners focussed on reducing youth violence. Training and support will be provided by national partners to project leads and young people to understand the model, with opportunity to network and learn from other projects over the two years.
 
Overall purpose of the role:
 
As our Participatory Research lead you will lead on the research element of the project alongside young people (design, fieldwork, analysis and reporting) to better understand and find solutions to young people’s experiences of violence in children’s services by carrying out research with up to 500 children and young people with lived experience of children’s services using different methods. You’ll work to produce a range of output materials sharing research findings and take a lead role in disseminating learning to stimulate and influence social action to local and national stakeholders. You’ll work closely with our new Youth Participation and Social Action lead to develop and oversee the project with support from our leadership team. You will also support the development of a small team of young people in paid peer research roles and provide training, mentoring and guidance to develop young people's skills, confidence and cultivate a supportive group dynamic.

Financial Wellbeing and energy advice worker

Caring for a child with a life shortening condition can bring with it unexpected financial responsibilities which may lead to poverty and hardship. These include increased care costs, increased energy costs and the possibility of a parent needing to stop working to become a fulltime carer.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) was awarded a two year grant funding from British Gas Energy Trust (BGET) to develop a team who will support families across Scotland during the cost of living crisis. Scottish Gas Network (SGN) have added further to this funding, and we are looking to expand our team.

Recruitment to this exciting new post will further enhance the support CHAS provides at an extremely difficult time families.

We are currently recruiting financial a wellbeing and energy advice worker, who will work directly with families to provide comprehensive financial wellbeing advice (including energy), to maximise the money available to them.

As a Financial Wellbeing Advisor, you will be joining an enthusiastic, energetic, experienced, and supportive team, with a collaborative and hardworking culture. Last year the team brought in over £1.7 million in financial gains for CHAS families You will work primarily with our teams in Inverness and Aberdeen as well as our Family Support Teams in our two hospices (Rachel House and Robin House).

The role

The role of the financial wellbeing and energy advice worker is to maximise the money available to families of children with life-shortening conditions. The post holder will do this through 1-to-1 support for individual family members, covering income maximisation, benefits advice, money advice and energy advice, which will maximise the money available to the families, ensuring that their financial wellbeing is being addressed. They will provide information about the benefits systems, undertaking casework, supporting applications to benevolent societies and trusts, advising and providing families with impartial advice and information on energy efficiency and signposting to specialist services where required.  This will be done through;

Summary and key purpose
 
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
 
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
 
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
 
Your expertise and skills:
 
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.
• Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.
• Manage our newly appointed fundraising agency, and in doing so, help deliver an ambitious appeal programme and income target.
• Review and develop operational plans for individual giving (including regular giving, in memory, digital fundraising and appeals) working to achieve agreed targets.

About the Role

The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors. You will share our commitment to fighting against racism and advancing racial justice, and understand our responsibility to do our work in a way that does not compound racist structures. 

Background on MENA Death Penalty Work

Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. We also undertake and assist with longer term thematic projects and engage with regional and international mechanisms and organs where it is strategic to do so.

This is a full-time position on a one-year fixed term contract, to cover parental leave, based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Due to the global and sometimes urgent nature of Reprieve’s work, flexibility on working hours will sometimes be required. 

We are now seeking a strong project manager with great people skills and an eye for detail to join as our Head of Operations. Join The Fore, the UK’s only venture philanthropy fund dedicated to backing the best small charities, and play a key role in achieving our goal of getting the most innovative solutions from grassroots to nationwide impact.

Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will lead the delivery of The Fore’s grant rounds, which are the core engine of our impact. You’ll  oversee our Programme Team and pool of Strategic Applicant Consultants (SACs) and will make sure the strongest proposals reach our  funding panels. The role is a key part in achieving our goal of getting the most innovative solutions from grassroots to nationwide impact.

You’ll drive our workshops and peer learning programme, enabling small charities to develop the skills and networks to take their solutions to  the next level. You will also take forward newer strategic initiatives, including our scale-up funding rounds and the launch of high-profile charity showcases that connect our most impactful organisations with government, funders and policy influencers.

Alongside this, you’ll own our impact and learning work, ensuring we capture and communicate the difference our work makes. You’ll work  closely with senior colleagues and be supported by the small but mighty Programme Team (a Programme Officer and Programme Assistant)  who you will also be line managing.

• Grant-making: Lead the end-to-end delivery of our core funding and scale-up programmes, from shaping programme design to ensuring the strongest applications reach our funding panels. You’ll keep the process running smoothly, support and steer our SACs, and maintain a  strong focus on quality and impact. This includes oversight of our Salesforce grants system, working with specialised contractors to ensure it  supports effective delivery.

• Impact and monitoring: Lead The Fore’s impact and monitoring work, including producing our annual impact report and sector insights, and  commissioning external contractors for deeper analysis when needed. • Charity showcases: Spearhead our new high-profile showcase events, connecting outstanding small charities with policymakers, funders and  influencers.

Candidate profile
Skills and experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in the business, public or third sector

The Role 

We are looking for a passionate and driven person to lead and deliver the day to day operations across our North West Reserves Region. Delivering the conservation and restoration objectives of the reserves, through practical work, growing and managing locally based volunteers, supporting management planning and monitoring. This role will also manage building maintenance, infrastructure and access on our North West Reserves. The role will work closely with the regional reserves team supported by the Reserves Manager. This is a chance to make a difference to the protection and restoration of nature at a time when it has never been more important. 

The candidate: 

· The successful candidate will have a Higher Education qualification in environmental land management (Wildlife conservation/agriculture) and at least two years’ experience of wildlife reserve management and demonstrable track record in the environmental land management sector. 

Main Objectives 

· Champion the Vision and/or objectives for all reserves and projects in the region with existing and potential stakeholders and contributors. 

· Oversee and provide delivery of day-to-day operations on our reserves, where relevant and appropriate this will include maintenance of buildings, grounds, offices, workshops and wider infrastructure. 

· Facilitate external and internal meetings and knowledge exchange events. 

· Support, with line management, the roles detailed in the region-specific addendum. 

· Work closely with the Reserves Manager (post’s line-manager) who will continue to develop and support delivery of teamwork plans, to ensure consistency of approach and maximise capacity across reserves where appropriate. 

The successful candidate will ideally have: 

· Good understanding of land management for wildlife conservation. 

· Two years' experience of wildlife reserve management operations and demonstrable track record in the environmental land management sector. 

· Experience of procurement and contract management. 

· Experience of managing a team of staff, with line management responsibility, to promote a positive culture.

About the role 

You will be responsible for the efficient daily operations of the Virtual Casework Office. You will be working collaboratively with SSAFA colleagues and volunteers across all Regional Offices to ensure SSAFA beneficiaries receive a consistent, timely, and high-quality service.

You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support, working closely with SSAFA Regional Offices, this will include supporting the volunteer network including our highly trained caseworkers, particularly with completion of cases.

This role will be key in supporting regions transitioning to our new digital platform, stepping in where extra help is needed.

About the team 

The team operates within a "virtual" office and will assist in the rollout of the Network Delivery Project (NDP) across all regions. The successful candidate will join a support team that includes two virtual casework coordinators, under the guidance of the Virtual Casework Manager.

All team members are homebased.

About you 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector would be valuable.

The Opportunity

The organisation is undergoing a significant digital transformation, including the implementation of a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system and a suite of modern data tools. This role plays a key part in embedding these systems and ensuring data is clean, accessible, and effectively used across the organisation.

The Data Operations Manager will be responsible for managing data flows, supporting income processing, and maintaining high standards of data governance. This is a strategic role with clear progression opportunities, such as into a System Lead role.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the custodian of CRM data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Manage data import/export routines for key supporter and fundraising data
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data is correctly ingested and utilised
• Support income processing through the CRM, including Gift Aid, direct debits, and events
• Define and enforce data standards and best practices across the organisation
• Maintain legacy systems and support third-line CRM queries as needed

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidate will bring:

• Strong experience with SQL (SSIS, SSRS) and data management tools
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
• Expertise in data validation, de-duplication, and cleansing techniques

The Role

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational plans aligned with the charity's vision, ambition, strategic objectives.
• Service Management: Oversee the delivery of mental health services, ensuring they meet quality standards and address the needs of beneficiaries.
• Team Coordination: Lead and support staff, including service leads, volunteers, and other team members, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and positive work environment.
