Role Summary
Working to targets you will focus on business development by researching and reaching out to new business as well as account management of existing relationships in your dedicated region. You will work to deliver our customer experience across a portfolio of programmes, forging a regional ecosystem to provide quality experiences for young people with regional employers.

- Effective business research and development to enable outreach to and the onboarding of new host employers, helping to grow our employer network to reach ambitious targets for Experience and Progression Programmes (and others as they develop).
- Delivering commercial income from employers, and education & training providers to meet ambitious regional income targets
- Account managing relationships with participating employers, education & training providers, supporting them in the design of programmes (where appropriate) and engagement with our leading technology platform.
- Outreach to discount and opportunity providers, helping grow the range of discounts and opportunities for young people through our Youth Card programme.
- Responsible for delivery and completion of own operational and administrative activity.
- Supporting programmes as needed on any contact, phone conversations with stakeholders, programme delivery tasks and wider charity work in support of wider organisation aims and needs, particularly during peak delivery periods.
Key skills and experience:

The MEM for Devolved Nations, National Branches and Women’s Section will manage the staff working in Northern Ireland, the Republic or Ireland and Wales and therefore you will need an understanding of devolved governments, structures and the unique circumstances of devolved nations.
If successful, the main duties of your role will be:
- Manage and motivate the Regional team and ensure they deliver on their individual and team objectives.
- Oversee the management of annual accounts and other compulsory returns, ensuring that Branches are compliant.
- Support the development and implementation of Regional and County Plans which contribute to the development and engagement of membership.
- Oversee the delivery of the Membership Engagement Strategy in the Region in order to support Membership to deliver the RBL Charitable objectives, fulfil its role and purpose and recruit and retain members.
- Work closely with Operations, Fundraising, Network Engagement and Campaigns, Policy and Research (CPR) to ensure cross-boundary collaboration and a One Legion approach within the Region.
- Working with relevant directorates, including Finance and Governance as well as our volunteers, including Membership Council Representatives (MC Reps), County & Branch Officers, act as a critical escalation point in the management and resolution of Branch and Club compliance issues and complaints.
- Working with the Network Engagement Team, support the development and implementation of Network Engagement in the Region, including youth, community, Armed Forces Community and heartlands work.
We are looking for an effective, diligent multi-tasker with excellent customer service and communication skills. This is a varied role which covers a range of duties and requires effective collaboration with a range of individuals and teams.
To meet the needs of the business, it is expected you will work evenings and weekends to support your region. Your working pattern will be discussed and agreed with your People Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Community Fundraising and Engagement Manager to recruit, inspire and support fundraising supporters and volunteers across our North West and West Midlands hubs, and in turn successfully deliver challenging fundraising targets.
Led by the Head of Public Fundraising, you will be responsible for all Community and Events fundraising income in your region, as well as the cross selling of other fundraising streams through on the ground engagement. You’ll provide all supporters with a superb experience, helping them feel valued, supported and aware of their impact.
This is a home-based role, ideally living within the North West and West Midlands area.

Main purpose of the role
This role leads the Supporter Insight team to deliver bespoke audience data analysis and forecasting (using methods such as multi-channel engagement tracking, lifetime value analysis, attrition monitoring, profiling and segmentation) to inform supporter marketing and engagement strategy and planning. In addition, the role facilitates high quality data management and leads data quality and integrity projects. You will train and develop towards full management capabilities to strategise and plan across teams.
Primary responsibilities
* Lead the supporter insight team, providing expertise advice and leadership to achieve optimum results.
* Inform the end-to-end development and delivery of marketing activities, by sharing previous learnings, designing testing, evaluating performance and proactively identifying improvements.
* Support colleagues to develop a fuller understanding of audience behaviour/ motivations/drivers/ triggers in order to engage with them in ways that are relevant, inspiring and targeted to meet their needs.

Other
Having a regular presence in the area, to work with partners and young people is essential for this role (in line with COVID restrictions). Given the geographical spread of the working area, a driving license and access to a vehicle would be beneficial. When home based, internet access to enable remote working is essential. IT equipment and infrastructure will be supplied.
This role requires membership of the PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme. Having a conviction will not necessarily cause a bar to employment.
