Job Description

We seek a skilled and proactive fundraiser to support LP in submitting funding applications to support its partnership with LPD and developing long-term fundraising capacity. Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.

Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.

This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.

Your Role in Our Vision

Join our Legacy Administration Team and manage a varied and active caseload of specific, residuary, and reversionary bequests. This is a pivotal role, helping to ensure that every gift left to Marie Curie is handled with care, accuracy, and respect — enabling us to continue delivering our essential services.

Legacy income is one of the most significant sources of funding for our charity. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and maximising that income through diligent case management, effective communication with solicitors and executors, and a firm understanding of probate law and best practice. Your work directly contributes to our ability to care for people affected by terminal illness.

Experience across all UK jurisdictions is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of specific, residuary, and reversionary legacies across the UK.
• Ensure Marie Curie receives its full legal entitlement, in line with Wills and settlements.
• Handle correspondence efficiently, updating records on our FirstClass 4 database and meeting internal service standards.
• Act as the lead charity where appropriate and liaise with co-beneficiaries.
• Monitor and progress open cases to ensure timely completion.
• Review estate accounts carefully, ensuring accuracy and appropriate application of tax exemptions.
• Obtain tax deduction certificates where cost-effective to do so.

Our Youth Development Leads are the heart of our programme delivery and facilitate high quality & impactful sessions for our young people. Reporting to the Programmes & Impact Manager, you’ll work with autonomy to manage your school partners, develop your team of volunteer mentors and collaborate across our ambitious delivery team with a focus on evidence based continuous improvement.

This role brings together the best of our previous Project Officer & Project Leader roles shifting responsibility for delivery into our full-time staff team. This is an investment in building the quality and impact of our programmes and we’re hiring for multiple positions to complete our team of Youth Development Leads.  

We’re looking to fill four positions in total – two full time roles in London and as well as one part time role in London and one part time role in Manchester.

Contract: Permanent – (probationary period of 6 months)

Location: London or Manchester. Hybrid working with project delivery in and around region

Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 pro rata

Hours and Annual Leave: 

1. Full time:

   • 2 positions in London

   • 37.5 hours a week with a mixed working pattern: School term time: approximately 3 days 9:00-17:30 and 2 days 11:00-19:30, and School holidays: 9:00-17:30​

   • 29 days per year annual leave - maximum of 5 days to be taken in school term time

2. Part-time (0.8)

   • 2 positions available: 1 position in London and 1 position in Manchester (potential for Manchester position to be full time)

   • 30 hours a week Tuesday - Friday with a mixed working pattern: School term time: approximately 2 days 9:00-17:30 and 2 days 11:00-19:30, and School holidays: 9:00-17:30

   • 23 days per year annual leave - maximum of 4 days to be taken in school term time

What's the Job?

LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Supervisor to support the daily operation of our sports facilities, with focus on our gym spaces. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal bookings and enquiries from our gym members.
 

The role will require to work on shifts, to be agreed with the Facility Coordinator and with our commitment to avoid unsociable hours and weekends, although may be required on occasion.
 

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Facility Coordinator to deliver the strategic vision for our facilities, focusing on enhancing the user experience. You will actively contribute to training procedures, incident reporting, and various administrative tasks. 
 

You’ll collaborate closely with both staff and students, playing an active part in day-to-day operations and strategic development of the sports facilities. Your work will have a direct impact on the student experience at LSE, ensuring the seamless running of the facilities and supporting continuous improvements and innovations.

Our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Digital and Engagement sits within the Business Intelligence – Engagement team.

This role is focused on providing advanced data analysis and strategic support to enhance the MS Society’s marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on digital and content optimisation.

This role involves utilising advanced analytical techniques, managing complex data projects, and developing insightful reports and dashboards.

The role will work in close partnership with our Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, in leading data initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making and optimises engagement, marketing, and content across all channels.

You’ll also work closely with our Digital and Content team to evaluate and report on the performance of our website and donate funnel and develop and implement optimisation plans to drive engagement and increase conversions.

Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues in the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence. 

This role is responsible for:

• Analysing audience behaviour, campaign, channel, and content performance, and engagement trends to support decision-making. Using advanced techniques like predictive analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with our Digital and Content team to support all our monthly, quarterly and campaign reporting and develop data analysis that align with our goals.
• Creating and maintain dashboards and reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track and present analysis clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise our digital analytics infrastructure. Design and implement tagging and tracking, trouble shoot or fix configuration issues and ensure accuracy of our tracking across all our analytics systems, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Guiding and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in data analysis to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data by conducting regular audits and supporting data cleansing efforts.
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to improve analysis and reporting, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and practices in digital data analysis.

For this role we’re looking for:

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles,
• Experience with digital channel analytics (social media, websites, email) and content optimisation e.g. through A/B testing and conversion analysis.
• Experience in advanced analytics techniques to optimise engagement and marketing strategies.
• Technical expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

You will play a pivotal role in seeking opportunities to drive asset management efficiencies, collaborating closely with Creative Operations, Content Excellence and Technology teams to improve the value of CRUK's DAM system and its related technology and process dependencies. This is an exciting period of digital transformation within Cancer Research UK so the priority focus will be the implementation of new functionality in the DAM as well as optimising asset and system foundations to enable technology and processes to scale and deliver the right content in the best ways for our audiences.

What will I be doing?

• Own the operational management and administration of CRUK's organisational-wide digital asset management (DAM) system

• Be the central point of contact for teams around digital asset related enquiries

• Upload, audit and archive digital assets in the DAM system

• Lead and develop asset governance, compliance guidance and related cross-functional digital asset processes

• Collaborate with the Taxonomy Manager to align and optimise taxonomy structures across various technology platforms and ensure best practice taxonomy and tagging guidelines are followed when uploading assets

• Play a strategic role in scoping, driving and implementing the right tooling and ongoing wider processes around digital asset management

• Drive the implementation and ongoing development of the DAM system's transformation and integration with key owned channels

What are you looking for?

• Significant experience of organising and managing brand and digital creative assets (e.g. photography, video, logos, infographics), using a digital asset management (DAM) software system or similar type of creative/content library

• In-depth knowledge of asset tagging, categorisation and taxonomy principles and best practices around asset management, governance and reporting

• Sound expertise in asset licensing and managing compliance and asset usage rights and permissions, spanning photography, video, audio and brand
