Consultant opportunity: developing our long-term vision and strategy
Now in its 75th anniversary year, World Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced consultant(s) to co-ordinate the development of its Physio 2040 long-term aspirational vision and a five-year strategic plan (2027-32) that operationalises it.
This is a two-part but interlinked assignment. Working closely with World Physiotherapy’s member organisations, global leadership, key stakeholders and staff, the successful consultant(s) will deliver an inclusive, evidence-based horizon-scanning and strategy development process, ensuring that our 2040 vision statement and strategic plan are completed ahead of the World Physiotherapy Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico in May 2027.

About the role

This is an important new role reporting to the Student Support Lead (Disability and Inclusion). The post-holder will provide support and advice to trainees with a wide range of needs, including disabilities such as SpLD, autism and ADHD, as well as mental health conditions. They will write Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAPs), work with partners to ensure agreed support is implemented effectively, escalate cases where appropriate, and contribute insight to help strengthen student support, inclusion and wellbeing practice across NIoT. JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes. The role will keep projects running smoothly, maintain accurate monitoring data, and be a reliable first point of contact for members and delivery partners. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Programme & Project Support
·Assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in the delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes and contribute to their design and development where required.

3.Relationship Management

4.Monitoring, Data & Evidence
·Maintain and update CRMs and other reporting tools to ensure accurate programme progress tracking.

·Assist in the preparation of financial and non-financial reports for funders and stakeholders.
·Help identify and share impact studies and good practice case studies from projects with the wider membership and sector.

Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.
