ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Join the Harris Institute, a leading provider of professional development and training through three designated Teaching School Hubs. We deliver high-quality programs that empower schools and academies across London and South Essex to lead educational improvement.
As Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in managing and supporting our apprenticeship programs. Reporting to the Teaching School Hubs and Apprenticeships Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for apprentices and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth administration, compliance, and a positive learning experience.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your job responsibilities will include:
Apprentice Lifecycle Management
- Onboarding & Induction: Co-ordinate the smooth induction of all new apprentices, ensuring they receive necessary documentation, program details, and are integrated into their respective teams.
- Administration: Maintain and quality assure all apprentice records, training agreements, and learning plans, in accordance with the apprenticeship funding rules.
- Compliance: Monitor and track apprentice progress against milestones, funding requirements, and End-Point Assessment (EPA) readiness, ensuring all programs comply with DfE, Ofsted, and Awarding Body regulations.
- Off-the-Job Training: Monitor and track the accurate recording of Off-the-Job training hours for all apprentices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Apprentice Support: Act as the first point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, support, and signposting to relevant resources regarding their well-being, training, and workplace issues.
- Liaison: Build and maintain effective working relationships with Employers, internal line managers, and mentors to ensure consistent program delivery and feedback.
- Meetings: Ensure that all progress review meetings are being held and attended to, ensuring that outcomes are documented and follow up on agreed actions.

The role of the Learning & Development Officer is to provide a consistent and high level of both operational delivery and administrative support by updating training information and maintaining training systems and processes. In areas such as leadership development, performance management, apprenticeships, and supporting a full range of mandatory, technical and management development. This relates to staff, volunteers, trustees and agency and contractors.
This role involves a high level of operational delivery, administration and multitasking so the job holder needs to be confident in being able to organise and prioritise their time and work efficiently, effectively and independently in order to be able to respond to a variety of requests and demands.

Role Requirements
- Maintain efficient administration systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the training function with the wider Organisational Development Team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries directed to the Learning & Development Team, providing information and assistance as needed
- Oversee the management of the team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries while taking ownership of all queries
- Process and oversee internal training bookings using Select HR (our HR System)
- Handle applications for external training, including organising payment and liaising with external trainers as necessary
- Manage all administrative tasks related to in-house training sessions, including generating delegate lists, preparing materials for trainers, and booking rooms, equipment, and catering as required
- Produce and distribute certificates for programme participants upon completion.
- Process invoices from external facilitators, including managing costings for other departments
- Organise & coordinate the training calendar for the following year by liaising with facilitators and colleagues and working with CET and Therapy teams
- Update schedules with changes/additions as they arise and inform training representatives and departments
- Planning and organising ‘ad hoc’ training sessions as and when required
- Prepare monthly induction programme including training memos, induction folders, session materials, catering requests & induction evaluations.
- Deliver brief Training session to new starters and help with tours where necessary
- Deliver appraisee training via teams
- Prepare for training sessions, including sending reminders, organising session materials, catering, room and equipment set up
- Create monthly training and PDR reports and chasing compliance where necessary working with line managers.
- Produce ‘due dates’ and other relevant training reports for managers as requested
- Deliver all training related activities for new starters.

Job scope
Head of Teacher Support leads a team delivering professional development for teachers of physics across England. The team manages a range of professional development programmes covering Early Years to Key Stage 5. You will lead on the organisation of our annual conference; develop and maintain a calendar of events and training for members and non-member audiences; and support the team with all event related administration and logistics. Events at the SLA include member meet ups (in person and online), events in our branch network across 23 regions, professional development and training, and our SLA Awards ceremonies.
Your work will be at the forefront of our member offer, helping to build links with membership, support members, build relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors, delivering high-quality training and impactful events offer across the year. An agile and flexible thinker, you will be creative, with a flair for spotting opportunities for professional development, and have a keen eye for detail with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. About the Role
This is a hands-on and rewarding role where you will lead the day-to-day delivery of major donor fundraising and help grow legacy giving. Working closely with the Development Director, senior leaders and trustees, you will oversee the major donor pipeline, build strong and meaningful relationships, and deliver personalised supporter experiences that inspire long term commitment.

About the Role
The Curriculum Leads are responsible for developing new content and updating existing content to ensure that it is accessible, curriculum-aligned and fun to help promote positive parent-child interactions. Role Summary
