Job description

East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support.  Services include Advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work.

Hours: 35 hours a week

Salary: £31,000- £34,000

 In the role of ISVA Team Leader you will be responsible for the day to day management of the ELRC Independent sexual violence advocacy service. You will be responsible for supporting a busy team of ISVAS providing high quality advocacy to women who have experienced sexual violence. You will also oversee our specialist advocacy service for Black and Minoritised women and girls.

We’re looking for a highly organised and self-motivated woman who is passionate about ending violence against women, girls and children. You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. This post is open to Black women only.
