Background and purpose
We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder.
At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.
One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly.
As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.
THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role
We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. We are looking for a passionate fundraiser who can take ownership of our community fundraising and empower our members and supporters in their fundraising ventures. You’ll act as the face of THS for people looking to raise money in a variety of wonderful ways – ensuring they have what they need to be as successful as possible. This will include managing a number of key events such as the London Marathon, Ride London and Swim Serpentine.
This role would be ideal for someone with 2-3 years’ experience and looking to take the next step in their fundraising career. As part of a small team, you’ll be excited about getting involved in all areas of community and events fundraising, building relationships with our members and driving our fundraising strategy forward.
The purpose of the role is to:
Community Fundraising
·Supporting and running the community fundraising activities - engaging our centres, signing up new members, stewarding our donors, being the key point of our enquiries
·Organisation and delivery of mass participation events
·Providing guidance and supporting participants in promoting their efforts on social media
·Spotting opportunities for business development with organisations
- Provide guidance and support for supporters undertaking community fundraising and act as a key first point of call. Developing and improving the supporter journey with new materials.
- Organise and project manage events and fundraising campaigns. Add new fundraising campaigns and events to the calendar.
- Develop key materials needed to promote events and fundraising campaigns. Source case studies we can use to promote events, as well as the charity and use them in publications and socials.
- Keeping up-to-date records and giving timely recognition of donations using our CRM system
- Creating fundraising communications to encourage greater participation, working with our Communications Officer and liaising with members and volunteers.
- Working to strict deadlines to ensure that fundraising activity is widely promoted and the success of fundraisers is celebrated to encourage greater take-up of fundraising activities.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS OFFICER

The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) aims to create and develop the conditions that will enable people who have Down's syndrome to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Events Officer to join our fundraising team.
Reporting to the Fundraising and Events Manager, the successful candidate will manage all challenge events in the portfolio. This includes the planning, organisation, marketing, delivery, recruitment and stewardship of participants and day to day administration for all DSA events.

The Main Responsibilities of the role are:
Assist the Fundraising and Events Manager with future event plans and creating and building on our Community Fundraising offer.
Managing the Events Inbox; Replying to all enquiries coming into the inbox.

Input all application form information onto Saleforce, ensuring GDPR is adhered to at all times. Set reminders on all records – FR chasing, Good Luck emails, Thank You Letter reminders, etc. to keep on top of everyone’s supporter journey.
Assist in the sale of items from the shop- especially Christmas cards, socks and merchandise.
Work closely with the Communications Team to develop promotional plans for each event maximising recruitment and exposure through our newsletter and social media platforms.
Provide support to your team members during particularly busy times (and vice versa) such as Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week.
Attend and participate in events as required. This may involve occasional evening and weekend work, for which you will receive equal time back in lieu.
To work in conjunction with the Fundraising Team in the production of budgets and in developing and implementing the Events teams strategic plans in order to maximise income and support across our events programme.
Identify and research new opportunities to develop the events programme and maximise income as well as maintaining and extending the existing events which generate a healthy ROI.
Work with the membership officer to develop relationships with members, supporters who participate in events taking responsibility for the supporter journey; providing motivation and encouragement from start to finish to ensure they continue to support.
Evaluate the current processes and procedures with the Fundraising and Events Manager and implement improvements where necessary.
Manage the fundraising pages of the website ensuring copy is up to date and relevant and those events that require extra marketing are featured on the home page.

The Associate Manager will play a critical role in delivering ISEAL projects in the context of climate, nature and measurement related to delivering value to small scale producers and small and medium enterprises. The role will collaborate closely with ISEAL’s internal programme teams, community members, and technical partners to assess the feasibility, impact potential, and scalability of climate and nature-related innovations developed and tested within the ISEAL community. Developing an understanding of company and investor sustainability objectives, the role will contribute to building confidence in sustainability outcome data and increase willingness to pay or invest in the transition to sustainable land and resource management by producing enterprises.
To be considered, candidates will bring solid knowledge of climate, nature and biodiversity, particularly related to small-scale agricultural producers, and a keen interest to build on this in the context of voluntary sustainability standards. Experienced in convening stakeholders on technical topics, the ideal person will bring strong data analysis skills and an ability to produce communications accessible to different audiences.

The INSPIRE Foundation, a charity whose objective is to promote research into the development of practical systems for people with damage to the spinal cord by the use of the latest advances in electronic, mechanical, and medical technology.
JOB PURPOSE
The Director is involved in every aspect of the running of INSPIRE, which includes raising funding from a variety of sources, formulating a winning strategy to grow INSPIRE, husbanding resources in the most effective and efficient manner and leading a small staff in their support roles.
SCOPE OF THE JOB
As Director, you will have a large amount of freedom to drive change, grow the charity, set the strategic vision going forwards and use your talents and leadership to ensure INSPIRE thrives. You are to ensure the charity has sufficient funds to cover all routine day-to-day expenses, to pay invoices quarterly for current projects and to plan for taking on medical research projects which are vetted by the National Science Committee (NSC) and agreed by the Board of Trustees. You will be actively supported by a Board of Trustees, to whom you report in your role as Director.
You should be qualified to degree level, ideally with an MBA or an equivalent business qualification. Some knowledge of spinal cord injury and its effects on an individual or of disability more broadly would be advantageous, as well as having a proven fundraising background from working in the 3rd Sector. About KLS’ Future Foundations education team
Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.
