We are looking for a Community and Events Fundraiser who has these key skills to help us raise vital income for our charity.  You will develop and deliver fundraising initiatives through partnerships with local groups, schools, associations and individuals.  This role will also involve delivering a number of fundraising events so being organised and creative is key and having a marketing focus to ensure maximum success.  No two days are the same and we are looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach and able to multitask effectively. 

You will be based at our purpose built children’s hospice just outside Maidenhead, which provides support to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families. Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. This varied role offers the opportunity to expand market reach with our current services, as well as helping launch new products into existing and untapped markets, while delivering a strong RoI. 

As well as being a commercial and strategic leader you will need to be a hands-on problem solver, ready to roll your sleeves up to support a small team to deliver where needed. You will be pivotal in ensuring we achieve our mission and deliver impact for post-16 students.  

You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Generation Officer who leads the revenue team, comprising of digital marketing and content specialists as well as membership support staff.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Membership engagement and growth: Developing and executing strategic marketing and sales strategies to drive member engagement, growth and retention with our flagship membership and subscription services.  
• Brand positioning and visibility: Ensuring we have a powerful brand that punches above its weight to increase market share, drive competitive advantage and to position the organisation as a thought leader within the sector.
• Marketing analysis and segmentation: Conducting market analysis/research within existing and untapped markets to uncover insights to segment audiences and tailor marketing messaging and activities effectively to drive conversions. 
• Digital marketing: Overseeing digital marketing strategies, including website optimisation, email marketing, search marketing and social media marketing to drive traffic and conversion across the funnel stages.   
• Content and creativity: Oversea content strategy and creation across various formats and channels, ensuring innovation and creativity to stand out in a crowded market. 
• Data-driven decision making: Using analytics to test strategies, measure results and generate insights in order to iterate and improve performance, tracking key metrics and leading the team to deliver and report against agreed KPIs.  
• Budgeting and resource management: Tracking spend, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources and reporting on RoI.  
• Leadership and collaboration: Leading and mentoring the team to perform against growth and revenue targets as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure a unified approach.  

Essential experience and skills 

• Extensive experience in a similarly commercial marketing and sales role with a proven track record in driving revenue growth.

Preston Minster’s vision is to play their part in the re-evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church, and the transformation of society. In 2019 they were sent from Holy Trinity Brompton, London, to help people in Preston find their home, find their purpose and transform their city. A vibrant church in the heart the city centre, with a mission to see lives changed by Jesus. Whilst holding the portfolio for Spear Coach, the post holder will be a member of Preston Minster and actively involved in the life of the church beyond their ministry area. A commitment to this, as well as a flexible attitude, is vital.

Key Responsibilities

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.

Relationship management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre

Church Community

• The Spear Coach is directly employed by Preston Minster, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within Preston Minster and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation
• Other ad hoc church responsibilities from time to time

Centre operations

• Support the wider Spear team and senior leadership team in developing the financial sustainability of Spear Preston e.g. gathering data for funding applications, organising community fundraising events.
• Work with relevant members of the ministry team, particularly youth and student ministries to further embed Spear into the life of the church.
• Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training rooms are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies and safeguarding issues are reported in a timely manner.

Based at the 999 club in Deptford, a safe and welcoming space for those experiencing homelessness Move+ is the latest of the 999 club’s service offerings which also include a drop-in day centre, employment & training support, advocacy & advice, a women’s space and the Bridge, our evening service for people in mental health crisis.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge service within the sector. The overall aim of Move+ is to enable people who have been homeless to draw upon their shared experiences and support one another to escape homelessness for good. Move+ empowers people to live independently, to set up and maintain a stable home, while working towards long-term goals and aspirations enabling them to move forwards with their lives. This is achieved through a combination of peer coaching, personalised support and an exclusive program of workshops and activities.

Working closely with the Coproduction Manager as part of the Specialist Services team, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of Move+. This includes line management of a team of Peer Coaches, focusing on support, personal and professional development. You will conduct assessments and manage referrals, build and maintain relationships, as well as promote the service, both internally and externally. Overall, you’ll ensure a high quality of service delivery that meets or exceeds targets and, most importantly, supports and empowers all participants.

About First Give

First Give inspires young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. We do this through working in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc) in support of them.

At the end of each programme, a celebratory School Final is held at each school, where groups representing each class deliver presentations about their projects. Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.

The role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in our main offices in West Hampstead, London. Regular travel to schools across London and the South East will be required.

• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Salary: £28,000 (inclusive of London weighting)
• Location: London office 3 days per week, 2 days per week working from home

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
  • an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;

  • troubleshooting via phone and email;
  • booking in First Give facilitated sessions
• Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme

We are looking for an experienced Youth Worker, to deliver training sessions and projects to young people through youth centres, community groups, schools, secure units and alternative provisions across South Wales and Bristol (including surrounding areas) and to ensure our programmes are fit for the future.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave. 

The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team.  They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:

· Managing the delivery of contract and programmes to meet contractual obligations

· Working with business, schools and/or community organisations to create beneficial relationships

This is a fixed term contract for approximately 10 months to cover parental leave.

The salary level for this role reflects the contractual location and the programme funding.  The salary range is £33,120 to 41,000 per annum (regional) and £36,225 to £44,000 London office based.

Organisational and Operational Management to include:

Your role will be to further develop and deliver a range of events and initiatives that the Harlequins Foundation offers to its supporters to help us to raise the funds we need to deliver our programmes. As the charitable arm of the Club, we deliver a variety of programmes aimed at achieving improved outcomes for education and employability, wellbeing and inclusion. The role will play a key part in delivering high-profile fundraising events while building the Foundation’s engagement with different communities and supporter types, being instrumental in delivering campaigns and events to engage new audiences with the Foundation’s purpose.

As a proactive and enthusiastic person, you'll need to be adept at managing multiple projects and events concurrently. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement and within a small Fundraising team, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering events from Harlequins matchday activations to Foundation fundraising events.

You will develop key relationships within the Foundation and Club’s network of supporters, suppliers and delivery partners and manage a portfolio of events and activities for a range of supporter groups.

The successful candidate will be experienced in planning and delivering a variety of events, ideally within the charity sector with a focus on fundraising. An ability to provide exceptional experiences, catering to different audiences including both sports fans and high-net worth individuals as appropriate. Some weekend and evening working will be required as part of the role.

Key Responsibilites

• Support the development and delivery of a varied portfolio of events and fundraising activities to meet agreed objectives, all of which reflect the spirit of the Harlequins Foundation
• Deliver high quality supporter care and stewardship, ensuring a quality experience for supporters at all events that reflect the values and identity of the Foundation, and build long-term relationships with our supporters
• With support of the team where relevant, co-ordinate event logistics; including but not limited to sales, bookings and liaison with supporters and suppliers, material production, event marketing and promotion, set up, and delivery
• Maximise income from our portfolio of events and fundraising activations.
• Ensure relevant processes and policies are in place to deliver a successful, profitable events programme
• Oversee the management of fundraising systems and platforms to create the best possible experience for donors and participants
• Assist with all fundraising aspects of events including sourcing, recording and storing auction prizes and working with the team to manage auction fulfilment

Qualifications and Experience

• Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
• Exceptional events management and project management experience; managing a range of events and budgets in size, profile and scale
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills including budget and project management
• Experience of delivering fundraising events and activations that can engage supporters
• Ability to build excellent relationships especially with supporters, partners, ambassadors and suppliers

Eclipse is looking for a competent, organised and experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join the organisation during a period of transition.  The Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the finance support service for the organisation together with operational support for Governance, Admin & HR.

This is an opportunity to play a vital role in the organisation as it develops and instigates an exciting and ambitious new set of plans over the next six months.  You will be working directly with senior leaders and trustees, and line-manage an Administrator utilising strong financial and administrative skills to manage the charity’s finances and day to day operations.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of budgets and financial management as well administration, along with a passion for theatre and culture to be made by and resonating with Black voices and the communities in the North of England.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Post

• To Provide financial leadership and to be accountable for financial reporting to the leadership team, Board, and stakeholders.
• To be responsible for effective management of the day-to-day office administration, and HR processes.
• To undertake company secretarial duties to ensure compliance with statutory requirement and relevant legislation.
• To work directly with the leadership team and board supporting business planning, organisational development, and to ensure Eclipse meets its aims and objectives.

The Finance and Operations Manager is a key relationship for internal staff and suppliers as well as fielding enquiries from artists, partners and the general public.

Salary: £35,000 gross per annum (pro rata if applicable)

Location: Working from home with some working from company office in Leeds with reasonable notice

FTE / Hours: Full Time (1.0 FTE) at 35 hours per week, plus a compulsory break for one hour. Part-time options of 0.5 to 0.8 FTE would be accepted.

Role responsibilities
The Finance & Operations Manager is responsible for:

Finance

• Preparation, monitoring, and control of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provision of clear and timely management accounts to the senior team and Board of Trustees.
• Administration of the company’s financial systems through day-to-day bookkeeping including data entry, management of petty cash, processing of invoices and bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with the external payroll provider and payment of monthly salaries.
• Overseeing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and management of the annual independent examination.
• Supporting in the delivery of an annual report or funder reports as needed, including Arts Council England NPO reporting requirements and quarterly payment conditions. 

Governance

• Leading on the arrangements for Board Meetings and Away Days: minute taking, writing and circulating agenda and documentation, post-meeting minutes and communicating with the Trustees pre-meeting on location, time and attendance.
• Regularly reviews the company’s policy making – ensuring the company maintains and abides by its policies e.g. Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Environmental and Staff Handbook.

Administration & HR

• Day to day responsibility for managing the HR function of the company.
• Keeping in contact with and responding in a timely manner to any queries from key stakeholders.
• Support the organisation to maintain key relationships and deliver report writing.
• General administration and office management lead.
