War Child is looking for an experienced fundraising leader to step into a key senior leadership role during a year of real momentum.
As Interim Director of Philanthropy and Partner Engagement, you’ll lead a high-performing team of around 15, covering major donors, principal giving, trusts and foundations, institutional funding, corporate partnerships, and gaming. Together, the team brings in around £10m of War Child’s £15–16m annual income.
You’ll report to the CEO and sit on the Senior Leadership Team, with shared responsibility for income generation, strategic planning, and organisational leadership. This is an opportunity to guide a strong team through its next phase of growth, support exciting developments already underway, and help shape the future of War Child’s fundraising.
We’re looking for a confident, strategic leader with experience at director level, or someone ready to step up from a senior head role in a complex organisation. You’ll bring a strong track record in high-value fundraising, with the credibility and judgement to operate at executive level and lead a diverse team through a period of delivery and growth.
As Interim Philanthropy and Partner Engagement Director, you will:
- Oversee and support a multi-disciplinary fundraising team spanning major donors, partnerships, gaming, principal giving, institutional funding, and events
- Lead strategic planning and budgeting across the function, ensuring strong performance, income growth and long-term value
- Maximise outcomes from Winter Wassail (December 2025), War Child’s flagship gala event with a £2m target and major stewardship opportunity
- Support and strengthen the corporate partnerships function, working closely with the Head of Partnerships to refine strategy and unlock potential
- Guide the development of the principal gifts function, with a new senior hire expected before the handover
- Shape next steps for gaming and digital partnerships, following an external review
- Take a strategic view of events-based philanthropy, identifying opportunities to evolve and diversify
Ideal skills and experience:
- Significant experience in corporate partnerships, with the ability to develop strategy, support senior fundraisers and identify long-term opportunities
- Strong knowledge of high-value fundraising, including major donors, principal giving and events-led philanthropy
- Experience leading managers and senior fundraisers across multiple income streams, ideally within a similarly sized or complex organisation
- A strategic mindset, with hands-on involvement in planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
- A collaborative, emotionally intelligent leadership style that combines high challenge with high support
- The ability to influence across teams and departments; experience in international development is helpful but not essential
- The confidence to represent War Child with major donors, partners, and senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Willingness to take ownership of compliance areas, including GDPR, gambling regulation and trademark risk, with support from internal specialists

The Parks Team are a passionate group of professionals, who work together to maintain and improve Wandsworth Council’s parks, commons, playgrounds, allotments and other greenspaces. The borough of Wandsworth has one of the richest varieties of open spaces in central London. Enable Leisure and Culture is a non-for profit charitable organisation and the lead contractor employed by Wandsworth Borough Council to provide management and maintenance of the boroughs 32 greenspaces. This role is part of the Enable Parks team, a passionate group of people, who work together to maintain and improve Wandsworth Council’s parks, commons, allotments and other greenspaces. The role of Parks Volunteer Programme coordinator in the Enable Parks team will allow you to demonstrate your skills working with stakeholders and local communities to deliver park improvements, habitat management tasks and one-off volunteering opportunities. You will assist with developing working relations with existing corporate partners and increasing our reach by creating new partnerships in the local area and beyond.
Your responsibility will be to manage and deliver volunteering sessions throughout the entire portfolio of parks and greenspaces. You will develop a volunteering program which is established but in its infancy, working with key managers and the team around you to create a purposeful and output focussed programme of opportunities for local groups and corporate partners. The potential to develop volunteering is significant, and therefore the most suitable candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to ‘make things happens’.
You will be responsible for creating each volunteer session as it addresses improvements or enhancements, and manage the needs of all volunteers throughout their experience. Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) or appropriate experience in a directly related post.
- Experience of working in a volunteer management, coordination or programming role, or similar work delivering practical biodiversity, habitat or landscape management.
- Proven ability to organise, plan, and manage projects effectively (including budget management, Health and Safety oversight, and environmental monitoring data).
- Experience of managing / supporting volunteers (delivering soft/hard landscaping improvements with volunteers is desirable.)
- Experience of developing annual outdoor educational/volunteering programmes for a wide range of participants.
- Entrepreneurial and customer service focussed, to allow the volunteer programme to develop into a sustainable, profitable and scalable service area.
- The ability to work independently using your own initiative and prioritise effectively whilst at the same time working collaboratively as part of a team on common goals and shared projects to ensure the work programme is delivered effectively.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to work with a new partnership of Unified Community Assistance Network Enfield. UCAN Enfield is a consortium led by Age UK Enfield, with delivery partners from One to One, Mind in Enfield and Barnet, Wellbeing Connect, Bread n Butter, Cooking Champions and Middlesex Association for Blind.
We offer a range of services and activities to promote health and wellbeing and independence to residents aged 18+ who may be affected by sensory loss, autism, mental health conditions, long-term health conditions, and people whose voices are seldom heard.
Our specialist programme has been designed to be inclusive for all, and includes healthy eating and nutrition, cookery workshops, exercise and wellbeing groups. We also deliver peer support groups and lead the Adult Autism Hub.
Duties will include:
- Working alongside UCAN Enfield partners to co-produce and support the delivery of a programme of health and wellbeing sessions in the community that meet a range of needs from general population to specific conditions
- Attending community activities to meet new potential referrals and engage with participants.
- Managing shared UCAN Enfield Email inbox on a rota basis and loading new referrals onto Charity Log.
- Using Charity Log (CRM) to access and manage referrals by triaging and determining their level of need 1,2,3* and allocating the appropriate support which may include referring to other UCAN Enfield partners or referring to other partners.
- To manage a case load of 25 new referrals per month.
- To work alongside UCAN partners to ensure that referral pathways are established and maintained with GP’s, Enfield community organisations, VCS, Social Care, Health Teams, pharmacies.
The successful candidate should have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social care, housing and VCS Services.

You will be a Christian, qualified accountant with proven experience as an international finance leader, having implemented new systems and worked across multiple jurisdictions. Experience of the charity/humanitarian sector and an understanding of the complexities of in-country programme management would be beneficial. About the role
We are looking for a highly organised Creative Workflow Manager who can support our small but ambitious creative team.
Working with a range of agencies, freelancers and other skilled creatives, you'll be responsible for managing the overall control, status reporting and delivery of our creative projects and content production, while ensuring workflow runs smoothly and assets are on brand.

What will I be doing?

- Managing and triaging all creative requests coming into the team and ensuring new requests are dealt with in line with internal SLAs
- Ensuring small projects and creative updates are kept on top of and delivered quickly and efficiently either in-house or through use of one of our freelancers
- Liaising with stakeholders and creatives to ensure projects meet objectives and are on brand
- Signing off on small projects and assets, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and follow brand approval processes
- Providing cost estimates and timelines for creative projects, highlighting any risks and dependencies and agreeing any essential information
- Briefing the appropriate freelancer, agency or volunteer for the job
- Maintaining an up-to-date internal status sheet of live briefs and work in production using Monday dot com
- nsuring the Brand and Creative Manager and other project stakeholders are informed throughout projectsand are notified to give brand approval for larger projects

You’ll be responsible for the effective provision of comprehensive HR services for XLP, develop highly effective relationships across the team, maintaining a real understanding of their challenges and opportunities. About the role
As the Brand and Creative Manager you will lead a team of two to collaborate with colleagues across the charity, external agencies and children and young people with cancer, and their families, to create and oversee the delivery of a calendar of content that lead to deeper levels of engagement, greater action and a significant increase in income.
You will manage our brand identity, lead the on-going development and delivery of our brand guidelines and tone of voice workshops to empower colleagues to create their own audience-led communications.

- Support the delivery of our programme of brand activations, increasing external brand knowledge, understanding and engagement through the development and delivery of high-quality, insight-driven activity.

- Work with the Head of Strategic Communications and Brand to deliver our content strategy.
- Oversee the creation and production of high-quality, impactful multi-channel creative and content. Stay on top of trends and audience insight and external innovation and inspiration.
- Lead others to identify the best routes and resource to delivering creative projects; provide professional expertise and guidance about the most appropriate design and production solutions; responsible for ensuring the visual and verbal identity is being effectively implemented across a range of outputs, both online and offline.
- Lead the team and work with a roster of freelancers, agencies and children and young people to create evergreen multimedia content, by creating user-generated guides and sharing support.

The Senior Officer- Executive Office plays a vital role in providing high-level strategic, operational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. Essential experience

The Direct Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.
b. Manage and develop CBM UKs donor acquisition activity in collaboration with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition), using channels such as social media, magazine inserts, press advertising, email and telephone.
c. Oversee the delivery of CBM UKs legacy and in-memoriam giving plans and campaigns.
d. Identify and consider new income streams and broaden the channels used currently for direct response campaigns to reach an agreed balance of long-term value versus risk.
Digital marketing (40%)
Grow digital engagement and income from new and existing supporters:
a. Lead on Pay Per Click strategy, including agency management and development of internal capabilities.
b. Oversee CBM UK’s paid social media activity.
c. Collaborate with the Communications Team to optimise the performance (traffic and income) of fundraising pages, including appeal and donation pages, churches and community, legacy, and in memoriam giving. Ensuring fundraising pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and where appropriate, utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools where appropriate.
d. Explore and make use of new and existing digital platforms and partners, such as Dataro and SEMrush, while promoting a culture of testing, innovation and learning within the digital space.
Leadership and people management (10%)
a. Support and inspire direct reports in line with CBM UK’s staff management policies and procedures. Ensure team members are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives and meet targets and recruit to posts where relevant. Regular 121s and appraisal reviews.
Planning and reporting (10%)
a. Monitor and report on fundraising appeals, identifying opportunities for future testing and optimisation, and contribute to the creation of annual planning, budgeting, and the setting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
b. Work closely with the Data and Insight team to ensure strong joint working on technical solutions related to campaign analysis, tracking and insights across digital systems, such as the website, donation platform and CRM (Salesforce).

This is an exciting new role for an experienced mental health professional who has experience of providing support to and working with clients with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. You will provide Client Support for all services, including effective, in depth triage of clients, identification of client risk including escalation and support to clients. Client Support duties include:
- Support client enquiries by using in depth mental health skills to triage effectively
