We are seeking a Digital Manager to oversee the FSRH digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across our website Content Management System (iMIS RiSE), member engagement platform (iMIS), and Learning Management System. The ideal candidate will expertly manage digital development initiatives, maintain productive relationships with technology suppliers, and deliver responsive first-line technical support.

With strong content management capabilities, you will ensure all web and LMS content adheres to brand guidelines, implement SEO best practice, and deliver an exceptional user experience. You will also facilitate comprehensive staff training, spearhead strategic digital improvements, and leverage analytics to drive data-informed decisions that enhance both member engagement and organisational effectiveness.

• To manage the FSRH Digital Team consisting of a Data Manager

Digital platform ownership

• Work closely with the Data Manager to ensure the integration between the website (iMIS RiSE), our Learning Management System and member engagement system (iMIS) continues to work well.
• Plan and support delivery of any development work from a website perspective in close collaboration with staff where necessary and with the website supplier and implementation partner, where necessary. This includes understanding and specifying business requirements sufficiently well for suppliers to quote against and undertake the required development work.
• To liaise with third party suppliers on a regular basis regarding integration between digital platforms including the website (iMIS RiSE) member engagement system (iMIS), LMS and other online products.
• Act as the first line of support for technical issues related to the FSRH website, associated websites, and the Learning Management System (LMS). Collaborate with staff and external developers to identify solutions and escalate issues to external support when necessary.

Website and LMS content

• Create, develop and manage content on the FSRH website and LMS, ensuring all updates align with the organisation’s tone of voice and brand guidelines. Apply knowledge of SEO best practices and user experience principles to enhance visibility, accessibility, and overall content effectiveness.
• Train and support identified staff to use the content management system (iMIS RiSE) and to understand the basics of good website copy. Ensure that content changes are of high standard and good quality.
• Consider user journeys in all aspects of content development and updates, ensuring that navigation and structure support intuitive and meaningful user experiences.
• To ensure processes for regularly reviewing, prioritising and refreshing all web content are maintained and overseen, liaising with teams across the organisation.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to support key campaigns by providing website support where needed.

Website analytics

• Maintain and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations, using these and additional data sources to monitor website performance, produce regular reports, and deliver actionable recommendations for optimisation and feature enhancement.
• Using website analytics and other tools to understand user behaviour.

Strategic digital development

• Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of the website to ensure they meet evolving user needs, support organisational objectives, and deliver content more effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging website and digital trends, tools, and technologies, and advise on possible improvements or alternative approaches to digital solutions, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AA) and machine-learning.

Other

• To ensure all FSRH digital platforms and associated information adheres to Data Protection laws and current FSRH policies.

We are looking for an experienced commercial and visitor experience professional to join our friendly team in the new post of Head of Commercial and Visitor Experience, reporting into our trading board, Crystal Palace Park Events Ltd (CPPEL), and line managed by the Director of Park Management.

Responsible for achieving ambitious income targets, you will lead the  management, development and growth of key revenue generating activities including concessions, leases, retail, licensing, catering, markets and car parking activity (and excluding events and venue hire). Alongside this you will oversee the smooth running of the park as a visitor attraction, ensuring an excellent visitor experience and an accessible, warm welcome to all.

Age UK Lambeth and the MYcommunity Gateway team have partnered with Lambeth Adult Social Care in response to the redesign of their Initial Contact Service. Age UK Lambeth provides a busy, in-demand helpline to all new callers to Lambeth Adult Social Care. The helpline provides a triage service, dealing with enquiries, providing individuals the opportunity to discuss their issues and be provided with advice, information and guidance and potentially signposted to a range of services to provide them with support. Where appropriate, referrals are made to ASC for an assessment. 

Call operation times will be Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.

The service works closely with Lambeth Adult Social Care and we have a base working alongside them at the Civic Centre in Brixton. Staff work hybridly, with the opportunity to work from home at least two days per week.

1. The Helpline Worker will answer Lambeth Adult Social Care’s telephone line where the caller has selected a new caller to the service. 

2. Answer a range of queries and offer reassurance to all callers.

3. Refer clients to Adult Social Care for an assessment where appropriate.

4. Refer clients into external and partner services to provide support and refer clients to other Age UK Lambeth services.

About the Role

We are now recruiting for a talented Services Manager to manage a team of project/case workers providing individual advice, specialist support and advocacy to Black and minoritised migrant women, overseeing all aspects of our needs-led casework as well as the delivery of our women’s centre activities, as required.

The post holder will work collaboratively with our Director of Services and Operations (DSO) and other Service Managers in the development of an annual service plan, tailoring this to meet the needs of the team and ensure all funder requirements are met.

This role will provide comprehensive team management and support, effectively managing performance and providing trauma informed mentoring to the team. The Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing referrals to Hibiscus’ services internally and externally, working closely with the teams to ensure prioritisation of Black and racially minoritised women. The postholder will be responsible for responding to service user feedback, complaints and safeguarding concerns using a trauma-informed approach. This will inform the development and improvement of policies and processes for managing service user casework.

The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that their team maintains accurate data and records to ensure effective service user support, monitoring, reporting and evaluation. As part of this monitoring and evaluation work, the Services Manager will play a key role in improving data recording and reporting. The post holder will be responsible for the financial management of their projects, including service contract budgets and the monitoring of team expenditure. Clear communication and a commitment to professional learning and development are key aspects of this role.

About you

The candidate will be confident in their ability to maintain personal and professional boundaries, and have a clear understanding and demonstrable experience of managing safeguarding issues in line with policies and procedures.

Project Background

Come and join our award-winning place-based volunteering programme that works with residents living across Hackney and the City of London.

You will be based out in the community - the programme is based at GP practices - to engage, support and enable local residents and patients to deliver local services for themselves, to meet local needs. We support residents to come together, to share their skills and experience for the benefit of each other, to deliver local groups and activities such as a book group, film club, exercise classes or cooking group. Residents from diverse backgrounds and demographics attend these activities together and make new connections, building strong local communities, all working together to make their area a better place to live. People, many of whom are isolated across all ages, and who have difficult life circumstances, are brought together, providing each other with mutual support and encouragement to develop new skills and pursue life goals, and to feel better able to voice their concerns to services.

You will be joining a nationally recognised project - having won an award from the Royal Society of Public Health in November 2024 - to support residents to fulfil their personal goals, make connections with others, and design activities and services that meet local needs. You will also be supporting people to improve their mental and physical health through signposting them to appropriate services and encouraging them to talk to their GP if they have concerns; and will be working in partnership with GP practice staff to co-create volunteer roles to make the practice more efficient and a better place to visit.

Who are we?

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a medium sized charity (currently 30 staff) based in the London borough of Hackney, working to support local residents to realise their skills and passions through volunteering and social action, and to share these for the benefit of others.

Our mission is to build and strengthen communities across Hackney through supporting residents of all ages and backgrounds to volunteer and build projects together.

In 2021, we were awarded the Freedom of the Borough Award by Hackney Council for our efforts to support residents during COVID, which included mobilising over 2000 volunteers to deliver food, prescriptions and essential items, provide emotional support to isolated residents and support the vaccine rollout. 

We work with hundreds of diverse community organisations and deliver various programmes to help residents share their skills and deliver their own social action projects to improve people’s lives. These include a befriending programme, volunteering brokerage matching local people to volunteer roles based on their skills, interests and goals, a specialist mental health programme, peer research and multiple resident engagement programmes at GP surgeries and estates across Hackney.

Post holders need to be enthusiastic and engaging, bringing energy to the role, be self-motivating and confident to work primarily alone, albeit with some support from the team members based at other sites.

The Research Initiatives Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will work closely with senior clinicians to lead a series of projects and activities to feed into the development and delivery of child-health research initiatives. The initiatives include research awards, research events and research capacity and capability building, by embedding academic skills into the paediatric workforce and enabling academic research.

As Research Initiatives Manager, you will also lead on the RCPCH Genomics Programme which aims to develop and deliver a series of resources and activities related to supporting the preparedness of our membership for the era of genomics medicine.

Based within the Research and Evidence team, you will be the operational lead for relevant Committees and working groups, acting as a representative of the College to represent the views of paediatricians, whilst ensuring timely reporting of progress to Project Boards.

You will also build and develop relationships with external stakeholders and work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science, life sciences or genetics/genomics component, you should have a proven understanding of the national funding landscape and infrastructure for clinical research.

An expert at providing senior project leadership, you should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work, along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

With excellent organisational skills and an ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, and be capable of working autonomously and taking personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including data analysis, along with a background of organising workshops and events and an understanding of the genomic medicine landscape, would be desirable.

King’s Global Health Partnerships works with health facilities, academic institutions and governments to strengthen health systems and improve the quality of care in five countries: Somaliland, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and The Gambia. We bring together health, academic and international development expertise from King’s College London, the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and our international partners to:

• Educate, train and support healthcare workers
• Strengthen healthcare and training institutions
• Enhance national health policies and systems

We connect UK and African health professionals, providing training, mentoring and hands-on support; and undertake collaborative research to inform policy and practice. We also support our partners by providing access to funding, networks and development opportunities. Through these long-term partnerships and our global volunteering scheme we promote skills and knowledge exchange, and mutual learning that contribute to building a stronger health workforce and improved quality of healthcare both internationally and in the UK.

Our partnership in Somaliland is over twenty years old and over that time we have built a track record in health workforce development.  With a focus on Maternal and Child health we have supported our partners in Somaliland to strengthen pre-service education and training for the next generation of doctors, nurses and midwives. 

Our partnership in Zambia is six years old. King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) initiated a long-term partnership with Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital and Ndola Teaching hospital, in Ndola province, Zambia. Work in Zambia has focused on maternal and newborn health, breast cancer surgery, antimicrobial stewardship and health worker wellbeing.

KGHP is based within the School of Life Course & Population Sciences. The School of Life Course & Population Sciences is one of five Schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. The School unites experts across 5 departments, Women and Children’s health, Nutritional Sciences, Population Health Sciences, Ophthalmology and Twins & Genetic Epidemiology, overall covering the complexities of life course health & disease from individual cells molecular genetics to whole population level.

Our research links the causes of common health problems to life’s landmark stages, treating life, disease and healthcare as a continuum. We are interdisciplinary by nature and hugely successful: 91 per cent of our research submitted to the Subjects Allied to Medicine (Pharmacy, Nutritional Sciences and Women's Health cluster) for REF was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. We use this expertise to teach the next generation of health professionals and research scientists. Based across King’s Guy’s, St Thomas’, Waterloo and Denmark Hill campuses, our academic programme of research, teaching and clinical practice is embedded across all SLCPS departments.

About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the management of our current programme activities in Somaliland and Zambia. The role will lead on the management of various grants/ projects within our Somaliland and Zambia partnerships as well as strengthening our partnership approaches in these two countries. The role will be responsible for project closeout, startup of new projects secured as well as developing new funding proposals to support the aims as set out in our partnership and organisational strategies. 

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. BSc or MSc in Global Health or International Relations or aligned subject
2. Relevant experience managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle, preferably projects delivered by consortiums
3. Relevant experience working collaboratively with partner organisations in low resource settings
4. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
5. Experience of developing MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes
6. Experience coordinating and managing the development of successful funding proposals including institutional donors such as FCDO and the DHSC
7. Significant experience in donor compliance and relationship management, preferably including trusts and foundations and institutional donors

Big Issue Changing Lives CIC is looking for an Support and Outreach Assistant to support the direct the direct delivery of services to individuals participating in Big Issue enterprises, including selling the Big Issue magazine. The core of the role is facilitating access for members of our Roma Communities to the Hand Up Service and other local services, resources and networks required to address the barriers they are facing to moving forwards out of poverty. Where local services and resources are not available you will also support the Outreach Team with the delivery of information, guidance and some direct interventions, such as training sessions, directly.
 
This is self-starter role in which you’ll be responsible for connecting with potential service users within the Roma community, introducing the service to them, sharing information from our Hand Up plus services and supporting them to engage with the core Hand Up service. You’ll be working within a small team of Outreach workers and will work to maintain a set of Service Standards which help maintain the quality of the service nationally.
 
The role is highly flexible and no two days are the same. You’ll bring your own experience and knowledge to the role, as well as your ability to speak Romanian. We will support you to build on that through an ongoing training and development programme which aims to ensure all Hand Up Service Team members have up to date, relevant, knowledge in key areas including housing, benefits, debt, immigration and more. In the course of a day, you’ll usually be working with service users across multiple of these issues and supporting engagement with a wide range of external agencies such as health services, local authorities, charities and more, to get access to services for those you are supporting.
 
Your main roles and responsibilities will be:

• Undertake phone and in person outreach to introduce the Hand Up service to Roma Big Issues vendors
• Delivery of direct intervention to Roma vendors using guidance and resources provided
• Join meetings with Roma Vendors and Outreach Workers to support with action planning and provision of support and guidance
• Support with translation and interpretation within your local team to enable accessibility of the service for Roma vendors
• Support the local Hand Up Service to build current knowledge of local and national agencies that can support Roma vendors
• Support the organisation and delivery with Roma Vendors of 1-2-1 and group training sessions and drop-ins
• Ensure that your work meets service standards and targets and complete surveys with vendors as required
• Involving Roma service users in the service design and delivery as local and national opportunities arise
• Adhere to all required policies and procedures including with regards to safeguarding, lone and safe working, case work management and expenses and finances
• Undertake any other duties as required by your manager (within reasonable expectations)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Director reports directly to the Trustee Board and is responsible for the following:

1. Working with the Trustees

• Overall vision and mission setting: Developing the use of the services and the building and increase the impact of Ivy Street for the benefit of the local community.
• Fundraising: Raising funds from a variety of sources to ensure the long term financial security of the charity, particularly focussing on rental income from the facility.
• Financial: Overseeing finance (with the assistance of a Trustee Treasurer)  and ensuring that regular, accurate financial reports are provided to the Trustees and accurate records are kept, and providing an Annual Report for the annual accounts.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all legal requirements are met:

  • Safeguarding
  • All other policies and procedures including risk management.
• Community Impact: Nurturing of outside relationships with other organisations and services.
• Monitoring: Overseeing the quality and monitoring of our services.

2. Day to Day Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a robust rental strategy to increase the use of the building for the long term financial security of Ivy Street and benefit of the local community.
• Networking with other organisations, charity partners and donors.
• Work with the staff team and trustees to develop and monitor the programme of activities and services.
• Overseeing staff and the activity programme.
• Overseeing the maintenance of the fabric of the building.
• Promoting the charity’s work with other organisations and in the local community.
• Ensuring that accurate financial and service records are kept.
• Developing and implementing a volunteer programme to support the work of the staff and provide opportunities for local people.

3. Reporting

• Attending Trustees meetings.
• Providing regular written reports to the Trustees for each trustees’ meeting.

• Ensuring that appropriate training is available to all staff and volunteers.
• Pursuing self development by attending appropriate training courses/events and networking opportunities.

About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs, the Facilitator will help participants build confidence, develop skills, and navigate challenges while promoting their overall safety and empowerment.
